Best food during our 2 weeks trip through Morocco! The startes were all perfect - tasted delicious! I tried the couscous with chicken (nuts and fruits on top) - it the best food since a long time! The restaurant is owned by a family - and the wife is cooking the food herself. We had to wait a little bit (not too long!) for our food - as it was all prepared freshly. Highly recommended to go there!

The most charming, cosy restaurant with affordable prices and delicious food. The wait staff were professional, amiable and welcoming. The waiter gave my friend and I a complementary mint tea which was so kind. A special find here in Essaouira! 10/10

Tablecloth restaurant with excellent food without five start prices! What a find just passing by the street and this non imposing restaurant showed up. Checked google reviews had some five star reviews walked around same street checked other restaurants out came to this one. Three of us all ordered different dishes and all were amazing. Too bad it was out last night otherwise this would have been our go to place. Great value and other have discovered it as well as it was busy at 3 pm as well

Chicken Tagine Tfaya option is excellent! Incredible and must try dish. Also tried the chicken pastille, vegetable soup and eggplant starter.

After trying so many different restaurants in Essaouira, I must admit this is definitely the one I liked the most and so far the only one where I returned for a second time. Delicious Moroccan food, great vibes and amazing service. Definitely recommend!!

A lovely restaurant with a very clean and pleasant space and beautifully designed interior. One of the best lentil tagines, grilled octopus and grilled dorade we’ve had. All well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. There was a mix up in our orders at first but the nice owner was quick to rectify it. He also gave us complimentary tea and good Moroccan cookies after our meal. Very much appreciated.

I don’t recommend the place. The owner was kind but the food was very cold and not fresh. I ordered goat cheese salad and it was mainly carrot and apple. The second as octopus was very cold and not fresh.

Been traveling through Morocco for two weeks. This was my final meal and it was the best Moroccan food. The shrimp tagine was amazing.

Good place to enjoy tipical Moroccan food in a tipical Moroccan house living. The octopus was perfectly cooked and the goat cheese salad was amazing! Service was a little slow but it was understandable because the owner is the only waiter while the wife cooks. I would recommend to eat here!

Simple restaurant but very good and very cosy! The vegetarian lentil tajine was particularly delicious, I only wish it was bigger ☺️ At the end, the owner offered us tea, which was a very nice gesture. On top of that, prices are really reasonable. Would totally recommend.

Very cosy artsy place. Our tagines were excellent. Samosas are good! Service polite and attentive. Would go back!

The hype is real, great food and good prices. My advise is to go for something morrocan, the smossas were very delicious and the orange and carrot desert fantastic. Portions are not big so you should get a starter if you're very hungry.

Very nice restaurant, excellent food and the owners are very kind and friendly. I ordered cous cous royal and calamari tajin and both were very tasteful. The athmosphere is amazing, cosy and quiet place in my opinion and excellent place for a nice dinner. The prices are very good also. If you want proper moroccan food in a good athmosphere this is your place.

Amazingly cooked and authentic Moroccan food along with a very effective service. The restaurant is all managed by a small attentive family and the menu prices are beyond reasonable! I am by all means coming again.

The food is amazing, but the hospitality is even better! My husband and I have eaten here many times and have never had a meal we didn't love.

This has been a wonderful discover. The owner has been very very kind with his hospitality. He served us the typical entree with olives, bread and patè and then we ordered our lunch, which has been very delicious in all the plates. Falafil, salade marocaine and smosas, then the royal cous cous (with some caramelized onions and almond which were super) and a plate of fried calamari, to finally conclude with some typical pastries and tea which were the perfect end to a perfect lunch. Good prices too. Totally suggested.

The wife of the owner cooked an amazing pastillas with chicken and almond as well as delicious soups and deserts. The atmosphere is lovely and the hospitality of the people is very pleasant. Giulia & Marcelo
