Came for dinner here 3 nights in a row. Fantastic, wholesome, authentic food and as a foreigner you can be confident you won’t get sick here. It’s a family owned restaurant and the food is fresh and restaurant very clean. It was a recommendation from our Riad and did not disappoint!! The tagine is excellent. I tried the potato/olive one the first night. Second night - prune/almond. Third night we asked for a special local dish and the owner was so generous to make it for us. Each time left with a smile. Also it’s in a quiet square away from the mayhem of the medina so you can eat in peace and relax sitting outside.

In summary: - super nice family business - very clean and nice restaurant - food was incredibly delicious We were looking for a good rated restaurant and scoured all of Google Maps. Couldn't get excited about any of them though and happened to stumble upon this restaurant while walking around. A full stroke of luck. Fish was fresh and couscous was very well seasoned. In addition, is very quiet and you can eat comfortably!

Best restaurant in town! Amazing hosts ; incredible family restaurant. The food is homemade on the spot with such a large variety for a 2 people business! I felt like my dad was looking after me while seating to enjoy a lovely meal. I cannot recommend enough this place, the location is great - away from the fuss and noise from the main streets. A must do or you’ll be missing out! Thank you for having us.

Fantastic little gem in a quieter area of Essaouira. Very friendly, food is amazing and the restaurant is cozy. A lot of different types of tagines including goat and plenty of fresh sea food. I added the menu so you can have a peek. Absolutely recommended and not expensive at all for one of the better restaurants in Morocco.

Great food, homemade Moroccan, always fresh and delicious!

My fiancé and I have eaten here four times during our visit. The food is excellent, the host is wonderful and the price is amazing! The chicken, almond and date tagine was the best we had, even compared to some very expensive restaurants. I also loved the grilled sole and vegetable couscous. The place is family run and you can tell they really care about their restaurant and their service. It’s just off a pretty square so you can watch the activity in the square but dine in peace. I’m so happy we found it and we will certainly go back again before we leave the city. 🥘

Very nice lunch here - large portions, great flavors, and very reasonable prices. It’s a small menu focused on Moroccan classics. The owners - a husband and wife - made us feel at home and it’s a nice, simple ambience
