Mohamed is such a welcoming and warm host! Fish was deliciously fresh, served with a homemade stewed veggies. The playlist is well selected and tops up the great experience. Absolutely a must in Essaouria!

Don’t let the humble appearance fool you, the food here is exquisite. It has all the ingredients for an unforgettable meal: an unassuming location, a friendly host doubling up as the master chef, fresh caught poissons du jour, and a killer playlist. Just decent people making wholesome food. Nothing can go wrong.

Amazing little hole in the wall restaurant. The owner does just one dish each day and he does it amazingly well. Excellent value for money- my friend and I asked to split a main and we both thought he accidentally served us a full one each. Ended up just being very generous portions! Very intimate atmosphere with only 3 tables. Great music in the background too! Highly recommended authentic local seafood!!

Absolutely amazing experience. The owner of the place is very sincere and sweet. Had the octopus of the day which was the best meal I've ever had in Morocco. The flavouring was super nice, octopus itself was fresh. The vegetables on the side were also amazing.

The best poulpe- octopus- pulpo I ever had very savory and better that any fancy place around just for 120 dhm. Look at that plate!!! No filter needed. Also Mohammed was the best chef and waiter 🫶🏻 he is so nice and smiley. I could really say that the love added in that kitchen really tastes incredible! You must go in here in your visit to Essaouira! I’ll come back to try other fish for sure :)

The food is made with love and you can absolutely taste it. Simple and tasty, homemade and warm! The chef and owner is a very kind person with a great taste of music and very welcoming. We truly felt welcomed and the whole vibe felt nowhere near touristic. Highly recommended!

It's a small place run by one person. The food is exceptional! He has 3 items on the menu, we had the octopus and the fried fish... The octopus was extremely good, the veggies had lots of flavour. Make sure you get there early, there are few seatings and it gets filled quickly.

He serves 2 things. Octopus or fish. It’s so tasty! Great local spot, he goes out each evening and catches his food for the following day. Well worth the 120mad.

The owner and chef of this restaurant is a really kind and professional man. He's doing everything by himself and provides the best service. My boyfriend ate grilled octopus and it was super fresh and really well cooked! I'm vegan and I was a little worried because in Essaouira fish dishes are predominant, but he provided me with a wonderful vegetable, chickpeas and fava bean, which was a nutrient and whole dish. Super delicious and recommended!!!

By far the best grilled octopus and fried fish we had!! The owner is a very warm person, has great taste in music. It's a very small joint, so if you are time constrained then this place is not for you, but if you make time for this you won't regret!

This has to be one of the best places in Essaoira. Great value for money, we paid ~12 eur for the biggest and most delicious octupus dishes. The owner is super nice and plays good music, highly recommended!
