If you wanna go shopping in a mall when you are in Essen city center. Then Limbeckerplatz is the place!

Funny how I never really come out through the same route that I entered…lol… ITS THAT BIG is all I’m saying. Linked to a couple underground train stations, right in the city Center of Essen. About 4/5 floors if I’m not mistaken. There’s basically everything there, good thing too is you don’t get to pay to use the convenience (thankfully 😹). Parking is underground, not sure what the rate is. Primark’s building is quite a walkable distance too. It’s a really big mall so Ofcourse expect the crowd.

Good shopping complex with lot of branded shops. Nice place to hang with family and friends. Lot of Restaurant for food as well. Great location , just near the BERLINER PLATZ U BAHN station. Always crowded during weekends. In weekdays normally crowded after lunchtime. There are grocery shop as well like rewe. Saturn is there for electronics goods . Macd , subways are there to eat . Overall a perfect place to spend your day with your family and friends.

Excellent place to shop clothes and many other products. Good options to eat both inside and right outside the building. Can get crowded sometimes. Happening place to hangout.

Same as it was in 2012, It obviously need some new decorations. Apart from this shops are good. Nice place for shopping. Parking is difficult to get during the weekends and weekdays afternoon.

Best shopping mall in Essen and the good part is its connectivity to the U bahn station and you can enter the mall directly from the subway! Cozy option during winters! Its a one stop shop for all shopping needs! Clean, well kept and great brands with great options! Except the fact that its closed on Sunday’s, otherwise it deserves 5 stars.

Limbecker Platz is an amazing shopping center with a fantastic selection of stores. The layout is spacious and modern, making it easy to navigate around the different levels. Great place to shop. The cosmetics section is good. Food court has lots of options. Has points where you click for a lasting memory.

One of the popular shopping malls in Essen with outlets of some brands and huge Galieria/Karstadt H&M C&A stores, a food court with a variety of different cousins. Great place to just stroll around, do shopping or just for eat out. It is just missing a small masjid other than that it is a perfect place to spend wonderful time

Great place to shop and hangout. Really an active and vibrant mall with a nice food court. Easily accessible from the Berliner Platz U-Bahn.

Crowded but cool Shopping Mall

All I need under one roof. Here I find more special stuff I am searching for. Limbecker Platz has a lot of stores inside. They are on three levels where you can walk your rounds. It is filled with brand stores as well as with less popular or regionally popular ones but they are still there. Over the last 2 years, it did not change much. If you need help, call for assistance the person will guide you through. Enjoy your time there.

Beautiful decorations with Christmas trees all around the mall. Everyone is shopping 🛍️ as there are Black Friday discounts are available in almost all shops. Festival season 😍

Great place to shop! I visited personally to Saturn. Underground you can find the UBahn station (just 2 stops away from Essen HBF).

My most favourite shopping mall in Germany is only 1 Euro per hour for a parking fee and extremely neat and clean. Also, all the known brands are there as well. Highly recommended

A pretty nice place to spend the day on cold days, very well decorated around new year’s eve. connects very well with several sides of the city, has a variety of shops and stores that serve almost every need, also has a floor almost dedicated for restaurants with a large area to sit freely and a playground for kids. Starbucks has certainly a remarkable view and very much worth visiting.. time goes by very fast once you enter😅

Probably the most happening place in Essen with almost everything you might need. Also located conveniently beside the U11 subway in Essen. Most importantly there is a supermarket there

Limbecker Platz is the largest shopping centre in Essen's city centre. In this respect, Limbecker Platz acts as a magnet for a very diverse range of people. All kinds of shopping can be done here. From medium-priced goods to drugstore items. However, it is the clothes shops that are probably the biggest factor in the number of shoppers. There is always a lot going on and people are evenly distributed across all floors. That's why I wouldn't recommend the centre for eating out. But preferences probably vary here. What is certainly the case, however, is that you can probably do all your shopping in one walk with the armour of an urban person (fixed gaze and purposeful walk).

Huge shopping mall 👍👍every month first Friday of the month stay open till 12 pm. Only one toilets area for this huge shopping complex. That is quiet a min point. Other than that good place but not that cheap here.

Good place for shopping. Got got all the fancy shopping outlet , Saturn for electronic stuff , food court at the top and you can also grab some groceries from Rewe at the ground floor. What else cna you ask for ?

Nice place especially to hang out in winter. But not recommended at the moment because someone has to wear the mask there due the pandamic

Highly recommended for long day shopping with friends

Wonderful shopping mall. Plenty of shops from H&M to Levis . There is a massive Karstadt as well as a DM and Rewe. The shops are spread across 3 floors. On the top floor you can find the Starbucks and donut shop. On the bottom floor you can find pizza hut, McDonald's, Nordsee and an Asian cuisine restaurant/take away. It's great for a quick bite to eat or a leisurely stroll. IKEA is across the road as well as Cinemaxx and a bowling alley.

Good place to park and start of your city trip when visiting Essen. The mall itself has four stories, each containing around twenty different shops. Lots to explore here. There are various good food options in the mall. Exiting the mall gives you direct access to the city's center and all its shops and restaurants. Parking is inexpensive. We parked here for six and a half hours and paid €9 something.

Too crowded...stores all over the place and kind of confusing for first time visitor.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas every year. One place to shop for several things all at the same time. Also has good connectivity to other parts of the city by Underground directly inside the mall.

One of the most famous shopping malls in Essen. Many brand outlets and common chain stores are available. Besides, several options for food and shopping is also included. A nice place to hang around with your friends and family. The only drawback is that almost everything will be closed by 8 pm!

Typical German mall , with the main brands . It is the same replica essentially of most malls you can see in Germany. Parking inside for a democratic price , not to scalp you (1 euro for 60 minutes, that is acceptable in a city district where parking spaces outdoors are actually rare)
