Amongst the car wash and cross fit gym nearby, you wouldn’t expect to find such a lovely little cafe in this part of Northcote. Absolutely delicious coffee, super friendly staff, dog friendly, and a great selection of pastries on offer - highly recommend. They even have coffee cup recycling!

Love this place! The guys who are often running it are so sweet and the coffee is really well done, even for Melbourne’s high standards. Most of their treats are home made and very yummy as well. Parking can be difficult when it’s busy but most often it’s no issue at all. Pat and Pete make you really feel very welcome, I would absolutely recommend this as anyone’s new regular spot!

Great coffee and food. No indoor seating but there were milk crates provided to eat out on the street. Got the Jamon cheese roll which was really tasty.

I didn't think I'd ever write a review just to mention the humble Vegimite & Cheese scrolls, but here we are! Fantastic service and excellent coffee. And as mentioned, the scroll was out of this world.

This was such an unexpected superb find on this mornings run along Merri Creek - I have now lived in Melbourne for 2 month and the Piccolo at Madera was the best I had in town so far - of course these sort of things are difficult to truly pin down but in my view the combination of true low key excellence, the friendly charming staff and the bare bone simplicity of the place make for a powerful combination. A true gem - highly recommended.

The Jamon & Brie baguette is fabulous. Full flavour and delicious. Service with a joke and chat, and good coffee to boot. Will be back next Saturday!

100% my fav go to Best coffee (especially when it's a triple shot and you get to see thru time) Best hangs, and legit amazing Vegemite scrolls on Saturdays I wake up thinking about on Saturdays Easy walk to the creek in any direction from there too, great for a dog/coffee hang.

Loved it! Best decaf coffee I’ve ever had, lovely service, and my daughter highly rated the babycino.
