What a gem of a place. This family run business is passionate about what they do and you can taste it in their food. The purveyor was friendly and recommended a number of dishes to us (being the first time here). He fed us well and we absolutely loved the charcoal grilled lamb shesh meal (tender, smokey and generous), the cheese, onion pide (moorish, fresh and crunchy on the outside) and we finished with a selection of sweets. All great, affordable and delicious. My new favourite Turkey restaurant, and will certainly be back again and again.

What a fantastic place! I don’t think I would go for Turkish anywhere else anymore! Everything is home made and fresh baklavas in silver trays are so amazing!!! Loved the Adana and Golzeme too and home made fresh-from-the-oven Turkish bread is worth every calorie! Will be back again, again and again !

By far one of the BEST restaurants I’ve ever been in Melbourne! The lady who served us was super friendly and helpful. And I highly recommend their mixed grilled meat and cheese and spinach gozleme. Don’t forget to get their homemade Turkish bread, it’s so fluffy and fresh!!!

Absolutely delicious, we got the freshest, crispiest cheese gozleme and the most succulent chicken shish kebab! It was also my first time coming here and needless to say it was a really delightful experience. I spotted the lady who made our food, the mother of the two people who worked there, and knew instantly that the food was gonna slap. Usually I’m not a fan of kebab- but this genuinely changed my perspective on them and now i will never ever go back to those sad kebab trucks (I wolfed my kebab down in 5 minutes) The food is made authentically with love and care. Definitely a gem worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Amazing Turkish food. I had the Lamb Shish meal and the meat was juicy and delicious, the bread was freshly baked and fluffy. Such a hidden gem of a place. The owners are so lovely and friendly too. Highly recommend

Juicy meat, well seasoned bulgur and salad, warm bread, tasty dips, and the spice! Affordable price, I don't know what more can you ask for. Hidden gem in the area, highly recommended. Oh and the sweet, make sure you bring your sweet tooth. 🥰

Absolutely stellar. Very generous with their servings! Great customer service, they make their own bread! Make their own mixes, baklava etc! Wow. Im so full but so happy. Bug props to their Zuchhini kebab! Come and see Hakkam!
