Finally - authentic Thai on Bay Street! We dined here last night and tried a few things - chicken satays, pork skewers, steamed fish and prawn curry. All were delicious but our favourite had to be the Pad Kra Pao which had the spice and depth of flavour this dish is known for when done well. (Note they also offer a “Basil” dish which as the owner explained is the toned down version for Aussie palates - or too often what we get here when trying to order the original dish) Staff are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant has undergone a renovation since its last incarnation (Royal Orchid Thai) making it a nice spot to dine in for a casual meal. A great addition to Bay Street!

Extremely delicious. From appetizers to dessert everything was perfect. Recommended the padthai with traditional flavor, we tried two curries and both were exquisite, the service was excellent, I think I have ever left a restaurant so happy. A jewel in Melbourne! loved sticky rice!!

Authentic Thai dishes in Port Melbourne. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the steamed fish with lemon spicy sauce. Wish they will open for lunch too - keen on sampling Thai one dish meals (my favourite!).

Delicious food from starters with chicken satay, phenang curry with sticky rice in mains, mango with sticky rice in desert all of them tasted to perfection, friendly atmosphere, and amazing staff. Highly Recommended

We ate here 2 times in the past week. Pad Thai each time and green and red curry respectively. It was superb! It is a small venue but it is tastefully fitted out. And the dishes look gorgeous and taste divine!

The service, provided by the actual owner of the business, is warm, friendly and excellent at the same time. But the real feature is the food. High quality fresh ingredients, with the authentic Thai taste and beautiful presentation makes the meal a complete pleasure to eat. I strongly recommend you give it a try. Hands down to the owner and chef at this beautiful restaurant - super delicious authentic Thai food at relatively reasonable price and generous portion. I and my friend had such a great night enjoying 3 popular dishes - Stir Fried Yellow Curry with Chicken, Stir Fried Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli, and Beef Thai Salad - at first we thought we surely could not finish them all, yet nothing left at the end simply because all 3 dishes were so so so tasty. I had to come back the next day to get the same Yellow Curry to my super fussy son who also enjoyed the food very much. Nink is such a lovely and friendly owner who has genuine passion in serving the best Thai food to local customers, which we really appreciated. The restaurant has just been established for a couple of months but we can see there were quite a lot of customers coming in and out during the 2 hours we dined there. Please come and enjoy this delicious food, you will not be disappointed.
