Unprofessional staff at reception (rush and confuse people) + doesn't permitted me to enter with my partner doesn't speak very well English . I hope they did a good job for the pelvic and chest ultrasound. Fortunately the Doctor was good and professional ,this is what my partner said (opinon from a Nurse)

Have needed to attend this clinic 3 times in recent months. The staff from the beginning to the end have been absolutely amazing. Prompt care. Doctor George has attended my procedures. He has explained in full what will occur during the procedures and in terms that l completely understood. The reception staff are friendly and very approachable. Highly recommend this Clinic.

ON-TIME, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL Was able to get an appointment for a foot X-ray very promptly. I was seen on time and the whole process was complete in about 10 minutes and I was able to leave with my images in hand :) Comfortable reception area. Very accessible from Victoria Parade trams and Parliament metro train station. As you would expect in a medical clinic, people with mobility issues will have no issues with access. Customer rest room available. Clinic is in a building with other medical services and a cafe.

I was booked in to have radio frequency ablation in my facet joints. I had it done under twilight anaesthesia over a year ago but found out they don’t do that. They told me I could have a tablet to calm me down. From the moment I walked in, the staff on reception were lovely. The radiologist and Doctor were absolutely wonderful, they guided me through step by step and told me everything they were doing. I only had a little discomfort and was so happy with how it all went. I have part 2 next week and I’m not anxious at all. Would highly recommend Melbourne radiology. Thank you for being so caring.

Unfortunately I had a poor experience at this clinic - I attended at 08:50 for my scheduled appointment for 09:05 as instructed. However I was still waiting 1 hour later. Due to being post night shifts I had to leave to allow me to rest. This then required me to re-book and wait a further 2 weeks for my scan due to availability. - On my second visit despite speaking with the reception staff to pay my fee after my scan I was never offered a hard copy of my scan to take with me (Which I have been told by another staff member should happen as standard). Due to this I have to pay a further $20 fee for a hard copy of my scan. In the future I will aim to avoid this clinic if I can

I was highly anxious to have an MRI due to claustrophobia and after reading reviews for Melbourne Radiology I decided to take the trip into the city and use their service. Visited this clinic three times for injections for lower back and shoulder. I have chronic pain and have been struggling with this for years. The level of professionalism and care of medical assistant Hill and the Egyptian Dr “ Alice “ and Dr. George is at different level. They will explain the procedure and look after you through out the process. Genuine and caring staff, will highly recommend this place and especially Dr. Alice and Dr. George🙏

Terrible front desk customer service 👀

I would strongly recommend using a different imaging clinic. The MRI technician was quite rough with my already painful injury, and rushed me through the MRI whilst providing insufficient information. On top of that, on three separate occasions I was provided inconsistent information by reception, which has delayed both my MRI scan itself and the delivery of the scan results to my healthcare provider.

To be professional and so personably cared for isn’t something to be taken for granted and so with that in mind I want to thank Doctor David for his; excellent knowledge, capabilities, and care for me during my visit to receive a CT injection into the SI joint. David is a credit to his industry and I hope he goes home each day with the additional knowledge he makes a positive difference in the lives of others as he did in mine. Overall the place is great. Front desk staff also lovely and friendly.

I've visited the clinic a few times, and everything went well. Last week I snapped my Achilles Tendon, so I went to the clinic for an ultrasound. Unfortunately, due to the injury's seriousness, the clinic's doctor recommended I do an MRI because the ultrasound wasn't enough. When I tried to book it, they told me I needed to wait ten days. I tried to explain to the lady that I'm limping, that the injury was disabling as I can't walk, and that the time to perform the surgery before the tendon shrinks is two weeks, so I could not wait that long (according to my doctor). They didn't give a dam about it. I was surprised they were so unprofessional not to have unique slots for emergencies, such as people with cancer or other pathologies that cannot wait that long. After this review the clinic called me and book me in for this week. Thanks for understanding. Your service is outsanding.

Someone just called me because I need to make an appointment, she was super impatient and when she didn't understand my question she just hung up the phone. It seems to me that they should have a staff that understands and adheres to the idea that Australia is a multicultural country and that they are dealing with people in the area of ​​health. Melbourne Radiology Clinic. The place was so pleasant and friendly. I’ve been for 3 times. Dr Peter Mark is so kind and honest. He answered all my questions , yet took time to explain everything. Was very compassionate with my comfort and how was I feeling , very patient and acknowledged about the procedure. I had an internal ultrasound scan for my pelvic today. The examining doctor was so patient and ensured to make myself comfortable. The receptionist was a gem. She constantly asked whether I was ok.I forgot to ask her name though.

When the western suburbs have a 3 month wait you make the drive and come here. Reception staff are friendly and efficient, all staff are actually. Did a throid fna and steroid injection both experiences were great.

Their service is amazing! I did not have much luck with booking for an ultrasound but here I was really helped and I got an appointment because someone had made a cancelation. All the staff members were very helpful and nice to all the visitors and were handling everything very professionally. The guy doing my ultrasound was also very patient and explained everything to me and took things very slowly and made sure that he did not miss anything. I was very impressed! The reviews reflect it as well. Highly recommended!

This clinic was the only Radiology clinic in Melbourne that had not received below 3 stars on Google. I am so happy that I booked in with this place because my experience was fantastic. Booking was seamless - I made a booking enquiry online on the weekend and received a call back Monday morning. I received 2 follow-up calls to confirm my booking. The receptionist was kind and polite but my radiographer, Steven, was my favourite! I am claustrophobic and was extremely anxious before my procedure. He spoke so calmly and kindly to me, allowed my partner to come into the room with me and was so understanding of my feelings. We took everything as slow as I needed and this really helped me stay relaxed and calm. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone who has a stressful time with procedures of this nature.

A severe case of mri Claustrophobia brought me here. From start to finish, the referral appointments team thru reception to nursing staff and radiology I cannot fault the effort or ease which made this by far the easiest of all my mri visits anywhere. The nurse was very understanding and sat me in front of a calming view of exotic fish swimming peacefully while i waited my turn. I highly recommend for anyone who like me had mri anxiety issues and who need a sedation method. It's almost impossible to find anyone these days who will accommodate the many who have difficulty like me. Excellent service, carparking next door with very reasonable fees and easy to locate. Highly recommend

As a health care practitioner( Osteopath) I find this to be one of the premier Radiology clinics in Melbourne ( particularly with respect to spinal MRI reports etc ) I have mostly had the principal, George Koulouris do the reporting and I find they are consistently detailed, precise and considered. Definitely at the top of my list for referring patients in Melbourne.

Melbourne Radiology Clinic is amazing. From booking in for an ultrasound to attending for cortisone treatment this last month, everyone has been amazing and everything has ran so smooth. George Koulouris is the best Radiologist ever. Would definitely recommend this place.

Professional staff excellent. Very good service. However one particular front of house staff was very abrupt with elderly patients and unfriendly to them. Not the best reception for people who are already nervous about their medical procedure.

Had to have a brain scan done. I originally tried at SCMI and it was an absolute fail. Had my first ever panic attack and continued to have mini attacks whenever I thought about having to get another MRI for weeksafter. After lots of research I decided to try here, from The get go it was 100000x better than SCMI, the receptionist (she sounded young) was reassuring and funny! Immediately offered sedation free of charge and talked me though it all with positive affirmations. Wait time was only 2 weeks also! The moment we got in the building I was already feeling fainty and had completely forgot to fast for the sedation. A lady radiologist came and informed me it was all ok and we were fine to proceed, gave me run through of the procedure and my meds, they even allowed my husband out the back with me and even turned the tv music down because I was getting over senstive to everything. I literally cried the whole time waiting for the meds to kick in because I was that panicky.. Not even joking! Anyone would think something severe had just happened to me, not that I was just waiting for a MRI. I laugh now at how dramatic I was lol. When it was time I was still stressing and almost certain the meds hadn't worked. They offered headphones and music but after last time I knew it was to over stimulating and made me feel more claustrophobic having headphones, eyemask, head cage plus going into the machine. Radiologist informed me they have to offer ear protection so give me ear plugs instead.. From there I was comfortable but still panicky. Radiologist was THE BEST! He would tell me each time it was to start and say "ok this is going to be 10 seconds" Then after would ask if I was ok, then "this one will be 2 minutes", then check I'm ok again. He let me know the longest part was a 5 minute image, let me know what the loudest one would be and continued talking me through it until we were done. I could have honestly fallen asleep, they then also gave me a copy of my MRI on a CD, which I have no idea what I'm looking at but is cool to see. Only thing I can suggest is maybe in the txt reminder for appointment there should be a "if you are getting sedative please remember to fast" as that one completely slipped my mind in the panic leading up to it. And the only bad thing is the parking at Wilsons next to it is crazy! $63 for about 2 & a half hours. That's not Melbourne Radiology fault though but still just a thing to think of if anyone is coming here!

Excellent detail of ct and mri went in for back pain and radiologist not only recorded back injury but also recorded issue with lung. Highly regard this radiology clinic alot of detail and professionalism.

Would like to note 3 errors they’ve made in 3 different scans to date. 1st time - MRI asked for the full scan of a foot. They only scanned the toes. GP writes back to the practice manager regarding this error and asked for the next MRI to be done with no extra charge since the first one was a huge disappointment and did not scan any of the inflammation in the pain areas. The practice manager took no effort to respond and we ended up paying another $350 out of pocket. So enraged. 2nd time - Needed to take an ultrasound, they mentioned that everything was fine and didn’t know why I was complaining of pain. The report they produced gave so many scary findings. I understand them not disclosing report findings to patients. But saying everything was fine and not understanding why I had pain made me so angry. 3rd - Ultrasound of foot The sonographer was extremely rude to begin with.. she asked me for all pain areas , the radiologist also confirmed the pain I was having. The report never picked up inflammation even though it was noted during the procedure. It’s been close to 2 months since my GP contacted the practice manager again asking to rectify their mistake and provide a proper scan result. I have still not received it and safe to say, this is one of the WORST scanning centres I’ve ever been too.

I booked an appointment for MRI. Before my booking I confirmed that should be bulk billed as I have medicare, healthcare card, etc. During test date (before my test) they asked me for $350. Then I rejected to pay as it was confirmed to be bulk billed. Then they refused to do the test and cancel the appointment. I am trying to liaise with the relevant authority to investigate the telephonic voice record that someone from reception confirmed me to be bulk billed. All compensation will be claimed............. I have all the telephonic record that someone confirmed me it would be bulk billed. Let it investigate........

Chose Melbourne Radiology Clinic based on their Google reviews and they're great. Booked my MRI for a same day appointment. The radiologist Steve is a legend. Everything went smooth & was in and out in less than an hour. Parking can be a bit of a pain with all the construction around, so arrive 10 minutes early. Overall a great experience at this clinic.

This review is a long time coming. I have been referring my patients here over the years and found the service to be outstanding, from reception right through to the radiologists. When I have an urgent request, genuine efforts are made to accommodate this. That said, they are skilled and first-class where it most counts - imaging and procedures. This is why I always refer my family members here. A great service for a great city!

Fabulous service. I got a booking within a day of calling. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. The radiographer Gavin explained everything, answered my questions and put me at ease. My MRI was completed in less than 20 minutes in comfort, would definitely highly recommend.

How this clinic has got an average of 4.6 stars is beyond me. Called and had an appointment booked. Called back to change the booking and was told it wasn't booked. Rebooked again. Arrived 5mins before the appointment and was told the booking had been cancelled. Then was told it hadn't been cancelled but I was an hour late. Also that I had missed a previous appointment. They said they could fit me in and I'd be seen within 15mins. Granted, the referral was delayed from my GP but when asked when I'd be seen they said the referral had only come through a minute prior, however, it had been sent 15mins before. The constant incompetence for basic administration and managing client expectations is very poor. This coupled with ridiculously high car parking rates for what was meant to be a quick procedure, further compounds an overall poor experience. Don't assume the patient is wrong in terms of booking appointments and times. We all make mistakes but own it. Don't portion the blame to new patients & now a previous patients. For the actual procedure, the Doctor was very good. Thorough, informed, and understanding. The jury is still out as it can take a while for a cortisone injection to kick in but was impressed with the procedure itself. Get the basics of communication and scheduling right and this place could justify it's current average rating.

On the evening of 4 May 2021 I attended Melbourne Radiology Clinic for an MRI scan. During this scan the radio station that they had playing through their headphones on me changed for a brief few seconds to a deafening loud piercing sound. As most headphones are set up with the majority of emanating sound in the right ear, this resulted in excruciating pain in my right ear and tinnitus. I admitted myself into hospital, that’s how bad it was. I have subsequently been diagnosed with Acoustic Shock and I am still experiencing symptoms today Christmas Eve 2021. I reported this matter to the office of the Health Complaints Commissioner and I was advised to email all the details including the medical expenses that I have incurred to date (approximately $1,500 out of pocket expenses) to Melbourne Radiology Clinic to see what sort of response I would get from them. As expected, I received an email earlier this week from George Koulouris who is the main radiologist at Melbourne Radiology Clinic just saying that he had checked with his radiographer and that they have no knowledge of any loud sounds playing through the headphones, and that they have not been able to identify any cause of the sound. He sincerely apologises for my experience and the diagnosis that I have received, and unfortunately is unable to offer me compensation of my medical expenses. He is glad though that I have found an expert for my treatment and he wishes me all the best for the future. I do not recommend Melbourne Radiology Clinic for any diagnostic imaging services whatsoever, because what has happened to me could very well happen to you too. By the way, I have not found an expert for my treatment…I am living with the symptoms…I will never forget this “experience” as expert George puts it. I believe in karma though. If I could post this with no stars, or better still 5 negative stars, I would've done so.

The staff, both allied health and receptionists, treated my mum with kindness and compassion during a really scary time. They were all very professional and efficient, yet took the time to explain everything along the way and making sure we felt comfortable. We had Gavin (?), A radiographer who took the effort to build rapport with my mum, to make her feel comfortable during an MRI. Thank you all, we really appreciated it.

Really great service. The receptionist, the x-ray specialist, the ultrasound specialist & the doctor were all friendly, calm & professional. Especially, the ultrasound specialist Giovanni & Dr Michelle were very thorough in examining my foot, spending generous time.

Need to improve the admin and booking request system/customer service. submitted a GP and physio referral and clinic reception only saw the physio referral, a substantial difference in net cost and an hour on the phone to medicare to fix it. Then sent the results to details found on the internet not the referral. Rude phone manner on both people spoken to. Loudly audible huffing/sighing when asked to resend to the referral contact details.
