The staff here are unfriendly to those of color when we walked in the door they didn’t really say hi and they are very unfriendly they’re very cold to us they didn’t show us around or talk to us or engage into us like they did other people who showed up after us who are white. Their schedule is incorrect it said that the swimming time for family was from 5 to 7 we got there at 5:36-ish and they said that it was already over and they said that I had read the schedule wrong even though on their website their schedules specifically shows 5 to 7 and doesn’t say anything of any changes no underlining like they told me they made it sound as if I was in the wrong and I don’t know how to read a paper of the schedule which I do. I would not come here again the service and staff were unfriendly. I do not recommend this place if you are willing to be looked at funny for the color of your skin then please go here if you definitely will get that.

Best gym ever! Very friendly and engaging staff. Awesome selection of exercise equipment and fitness classes. My favorites are pickle ball and the sauna. The only thing I’d change are the hours which are a bit limited. Would be nice if they stayed open later, maybe just an hour. Weekend hours are rough too, I wish they were open later on Saturday’s and open at all on Sunday’s. Even still, they beat LA fitness or anything else around the area by miles.

This community center is an amazing value, and the staff are great. They put a ton of effort into making our neighborhood a better place through multiple community events. So glad we have it!

Low cost swimming pool, water park out back and a gym. Apparently they offer excersize classes and dance classes for kids too. The pool is only like 4.5 feet deep but starts at 0ft and very gradually gets deeper. The water park is super cool and has a regular playground behind it.

Excellent facilities. Always clean. People up front always nice. I'm there in the evenings

Went here for my kids basketball game. Front desk was pleasant and helpful it was clean and not too loud.

Nice little community center in the heart of Northeast Tacoma. They offer a good variety of services from treadmill, to a fitness center, to multiple workout rooms (dead weights and machine), a basketball gym, several conference rooms and an indoor pool. They also have locker rooms with showers to freshen up before you leave.

Proof metro parks is a racist organization. Mysteriously, you don't see a sprawling expensive spa-like center like this in the black neighborhood. hmmm I wonder why?...

Been going here since 2003. I love that the Centre hosts Jehovahs Witness related gatherings amongst the other great things they offer for the community! Thank YOU!

The place was on the news Staff telling kids to go outside and fight. Adults fighting with kids. It's a ridiculous no supervision.. how are the kids supposed to feel safer. Check out the news clip on Fox. 12 yr old gets jumped by adults at Norpoint.

Ayy I remember that the boss there said the workout room was 14 and when I turned 14 she said 15 which got me kinda angry but most of the staff there are very funn like Tyler and Mason

Very helpful desk staff, their membership card scanner was not working for my first three visits, but we finally got it accomplished :-)

Superior number of choices for exercise Plus hot tubs are toasty warm and swimmers are courteous when volume is high so can share lanes Lifeguards are friendly as well as front desk staff and very helpful.

Love this place! I just wish that there swim classes were more inclusive: meaning they had employees who worked with children with special needs.

They put on Trunk or Treat for the kids for Halloween, which they started during Covid. It is so creative and great for houses that are rural. We all had a lot of fun!

We had the pleasure of visiting the Center for the first time this October. They were hosing a community event for families to celebrate Halloween. Being the first time inside the center we explored a little. There are multiple fitness rooms and classes available along with a kids pool and adult area. The grounds are well maintained and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our soon to be 5 year old discovered a fantastic playground which includes a great kid friendly zip line on the backside of the property. We will definitely be returning for more activities in the future

Nice community center. Has indoor pool! Very clean and has great parking. Nice place for the entire family to come for physical activities.

Nice Center! Busy but accommodating. Lots going on in the parking lot and inside at once. I went to watch the Pickleball Tournament. 👍👍
