Not really a fan of zoos as I usually feel sorry for the animals, but this is a gem. Firstly it is beautifully laid out and a pleasure to walk around even without the residents. The cafes sold acceptable food at reasonable prices and you could sit and eat alongside stunning views. The animals had room and moved freely in their enclosures. For the most part they looked healthy and alert. A lot of the messaging explained why they were in capitivity and it was not just for human enjoyment. We did visit on a lovely sunny day and when the park was not at its busiest which admittedly helped. Overall I would recommend a visit.

We enjoyed our visit to Selwo Park, but to be honest it wasn't as good as we expected. We didn't manage to see some of the animals. The Safari is expensive and it's not included in the ticket price. This experience is not so needed, as we were able to see all those animals(Zebras, Giraffes, etc). Overall we've had a good time in the park - we've spent there about 3 hours.

One of the best zoos I have ever visited, the views are stunning. Walking through the wild bird enclosure, over "wobbly" bridges was breath taking. The zoo keepers were full of interesting facts and all the staff are really friendly. It was a great experience and my 5 year old loved it! 10/10

The park is not very large but it offers great trails for walking. It has a few fun zone areas for kids like a zip line, jumper and small arcade area. I had read on previous reviews that it was 20 euro entry but turned out to be 30 euro. 2 adults and 2 kids aged 13 and 17 so didn't get kids prices for them. 120 euro in total but we'll well worth it. Great place to spend a few hours. The restaurant and cafe areas are also great. Pizzas, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chips and cold drinks. No need to pay the extra for the jeep safari as you can see everything from just walking. The showers over the walkways were a welcomed treat to cool down in the searing heat ! Lol. Also the zip line over the lake ravine is fantastic for just 5 euro pp. Kids loved it. Fantastic spot not to be missed if you are near Estepona.

Probably too hot outside for some of the animals and they were hidden, also the vending machines are quite old i believe, paid for water 2euro and got nothing not even the money back. They do have water sprinklers everywhere which was nice to keep a cool aer in this heat. Food was good.

Good place. Very excited to see the hippos. I am not really a fan of zoos this did have a couple of large enclosures but felt the animals were a bit hemmed I’m in others. I would have liked a little more history. Park is laid out well and lots of little paths through places makes it a more interesting trip than other zoos. Animals look well. Not sure about the elephants they did not look happy at all.

The bird area was also awesome - huge area with a net so you could walk where the birds were flying. Red panda was really active and our favourite this time around. All of the employees understood English, so that wasn’t a problem either. Park was easy to find and access by car, not sure about other means of transportation as it was quite a drive from Benalmadena..

My partner and I visited Selwo Aventura on a whim and were absolutely blown away with the experience. We visited when it was fairly quiet so had no issues with queues or wait times, though still booked tickets online in advance for our own ease. The animals and their enclosures were beautifully well kept. We couldn't believe how close we were able to get to many of the zoo inhabitants. The park itself also has some breathtaking views. We personally didn't bother with the safari trip as the entry tickets are pricey as is, but this isn't necessarily needed as it's possible to walk around and peer in to most of the area the safari drives through. Would thoroughly recommend for a day out - the admission price is 100% worth it for a few hours of wandering. We personally loved the red pandas and lemurs.

The personnel from the food court were really slow. The park itself is nice but pretty expensive. For 4 adults & 2 kids paid almost 170€ The zip line has weight restrictions, 40kg is the minimum weight allowed.

Fun night staying in a lodge with jacuzzi on the balcony. Park is well laid out and extensive. Only downsides were pool not open, nor were zipwire and trampolines.

Really nice park. Lots to see and do for a wide range of ages. The additional Safari tour is a must, so make sure you pre-book it, or book it at the entrance before you go into the park. The highlight for us was watching the hippo's being fed and feeding the Zebra's from the safari truck. Be careful where you rest your hands on railings etc, as there are lots of ants and bugs around (which is to be expected). We stopped after 10-15minutes to spray our shoes and our pushchair with insect repellent, which seemed to help keep biting bugs away from us and the kids.
