A terrific resort located in the Costa del Sol area. Marriott Vacation Clubs tend to be high quality and service oriented. This resort is no different. The Concierge desk provides day tours to many different hotspots in the region. Shout out to Tommaso who recommended a great tour for Gibraltar. Also provided helpful info on how to get around the area as well. The room was well decorated. Cleaning service was performed everyday. There is a beach area on the resort, as well as a full gym, and both indoor/outdoor pools. Numerous restaurants are nearby. So overall, a great place to stay and enjoy the sunny southern Spain.

Do not leave your valuables in the hotel. WE WERE ROBBED, and management did not do ANYTHING. Three women in our group had stolen money out of their purses while going for a swim for one hour! The money was in the separate compartments in the purses. It was not easy find. It took only an hour for us to leave the hotel to go for the last swim. This was the first time for us to leave the purses in the hotel, but we thought we were safe in Marriott Hotel for an hour. We used Marriott Hotels for so many times and never had any problems. This was like someone was watching us when we left and came back. We went to the management and reported immediately. The manager did not offer to call the police, nor did he look into the computer to see who entered our room by the card swipe, even though we had an exact time frame for the roberry. They took the info and said that they were going to look into it and reach out to us. They told us to go early to the airport to fill out the police report ( the airport is a different city and jurisdiction) its been a month, and we have not heard from them, no email to fallow up, nothing. We have been to so many Marriott hotels, and we also love them all. This hotel is lovely also, but I don't think I am going back to any Marriott Hotel soon. This makes me feel so unsafe and discusting. BE CAREFUL!!

We are timeshare owners at this property. Owing to health issues we had not visited for a couple of years. Happily we still found the property to be in excellent shape and the the staff to be top notch too. The grounds are beautifully maintained and all the facilities are kept in great condition. I should add that the town of Estepona is outstanding. It has had an upgrade so that the beach promenade area is largely pedestrianised and flowers and plants abound. It is a pleasure to visit Playa Andaluza and Estepona- please don’t tell too many people! 😜🥰

Resort is out of the way and kind of hard to find. Be careful when following Google maps otherwise you'll end up getting on/off the A7 and circling back through residential neighborhoods. The key is to go left when you come back to the A7 entrance. As you go straight, you'll then start seeing signs that direct you toward the property. The resort is in an area with other timeshares and residential properties. Marriott Bonvoy benefits don't apply as this property is a Marriott Grand Vacations property. If you are platinum or titanium don't expect any upgrades, free breakfast, concierge, etc. They will give you 1000 points as a welcome gift. I received a small room 2310 with a seaview instead of resort view. Arrived 12/13/21 around 7pm. Ample parking. When I made the reservation on Marriott.com I was quoted €222 for 2 nights. At check-in I'm charged €322. I think there is a €50 p/day resort fee. They've taken a bunch of 3 bedrooms, put up a wall, and split them off. So you have one exterior door and inside that area there is a door for the studio, and another door for the 2 br. There is not much noise isolation between the 2 rooms. View from this room was great. Property has Mediterranean times and a classic Spain rustic look inside the bathroom. TV would not power on. Ipod dock clock radio and toaster didn't work. Thermostat is centrally locked so you can't really control the temperature and fan in your room. Windows are advertised as soundproof but I could hear barking dogs throughout the night. Reserved a non-smoking room but there is an ashtray on my table. My room wasn't very clean. Long hairs on the comforter and pillow upon arrival. There were hairs on the tub, and other sticky residue. Breakfast offerings and marketplace items are at a high markup, but nothing is really in close proximity to the resort. If you don't want to pay the higher prices from the restaurant here, you can order from several restaurants on the Just Eats app. The delivery driver will meet you in the lobby. Room service is available from 2pm-9pm. Kitchen layout isn't the best. All dishes are on the top shelf, so you may have trouble reaching them if you aren't tall. I'm 5'5 and had to tip on my toes to reach them. Cupboard doors for the fridge and trash area drag on the floor when you open them. Some amenities advertised on Marriott.com as being available during the pandemic and during the winter season are unavailable. 2 of the outdoor pools are currently closed. Sauna, fitness center, and other activities may require a reservation to be able to utilize them and they may be capacity limited based on local regulations. Some are also under reduced operational hours due to the pandemic or the season. So it's really a 50/50 odds whether you'll be able to utilize the advertised amenities when you stay. Marriott.com mentions laundry facilities and fully equipped kitchens. The studio has no washer/dryer. There is one coin laundry onsite for guests who need it. Studio kitchen consists of a mini fridge and a microwave. So it is not fully equipped with a stovetop and oven. You need to book a 2 or 3 bedroom to get those amenities. Property seemed to have very few guests the day I was here. There are 2 access points to the beach. This isn't a beach with soft sand that you can easily relax or walk on. There are lots of tiny, sharp stones, and other debris that the tide has brought in. Be sure to wear sandals when walking around. Wireless internet was 20.2 mbps download, 19.7 Mbps upload with 17ms ping. Sufficient lighting in case you need to do a zoom or other conference call during your stay. All outlets are only for 2 prong EU plug, so make sure to bring adapters if needed. There are also no USB plugs to charge your devices, aside from the 1 on the iHome dock. I would say this resort is okay, but there are probably better options for the price. Not sure if I would return. I left a day early.

Rooms need renovations (very outdated), bed mattresses and pillows are old, furniture is very old. Housekeeping isn’t the best, apartment floor is always dirty. Other than that the resort is a perfect place for kids.

We are not exactly holiday club connoisseurs, except with the children, I was anything but a friend of these large facilities. But I have to say respect for this resort! The morning starts quietly, with only the sound of the sea and the birds, which have been active for a long time, composing a pleasant soundscape. A few early risers take a relaxed laps in the larger pool (there are a few pools) ... Note: very clever; an integrated swimlane let sport swimmers like me doing some km without getting dizzy from the good looking organic shaped, but for swimmers useless pool shapes as it's usually found in such places. The friendly and always calm Chef de Service knows our wishes and addresses us by name already on the second morning. The wishless buffet is fresh from start to finish, clean and complete but never overloaded. The grounds can hold a candle to any botanical garden.... perfect and tasteful. Anyway, everything is neat and clean without the feeling of stumbling over an army of cleaning trolleys. All the staff greet you in a fresh, honest and friendly way (which you can't always say about us guests) and really do everything to make you feel comfortable without hesitation. Truly an impressive facility, better than the images would let you dream!

This resort was way better than I expected because they simply don’t advertise everything they offer! I got surprised by a complete room dedicated to toddlers who are too young for the mini club! Also the kids’ pool is amazing and they have 2 playgrounds! There’s a little book exchange lounge area and a heated (!!!) indoor pool! If you are traveling with children, this is your place! Very well taken care of beach and garden! I really enjoyed the fitness classes: Yoga with Christina was exactly what I needed! Loved it here!

Fantastic location to explore Marbella - private beach, friendly and enthusiastic staff! We stayed here for 3 nights in Jan to explore Southern Spain. Check in was prompt and friendly and we were placed in an Oceanfront Studio on the top floor. Loved the views of the ocean. January is low season, so the resort was quiet and it felt very private. We really liked a lot of what this MVC had to offer: - sizable gym, with fairly new and well maintained equipment, weight and cardio machines - Nice indoor/outdoor pools with hot tubs, sauna, and steam room - On-site spa (although not open in January) - On-site games (table tennis, mini golf, chess and checkers and shuffle board - 24-hour marketplace, offering food (dine in and delivery to room) - Free Underground parkade with elevator access to individual resort towers - Location was central to explore Marbella, Gibraltar, Malaga and southern Spain. - Friendly crew! Especially Ana and the team at the marketplace. Always a wonderful smile to welcome us! - Private access to beach (beach cabanas closed in January) Studio room was small but enough space for 2. We had a fridge, small kitchenette area, and an inroom safe. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped; Water temperature and pressure was great. Overall: we enjoyed our stay very much and would return when we next visit Southern Spain. Thank you!

Horrible stay A horrible stay comes to a end Sharing our horrible stay experience which I feel like to post on Google reviews as well A) arrived at airport - we were given a car through offugo In scorching heat it took 2 hrs searching for car, multiple calls to offugo - very uncomfortable start ( as offugo don’t have any counter ) B) Reached apartment - fridge wasn’t working Gas hob - we couldn’t figure out to operate I requested maintainence staff but it took 2 hrs wait before anyone turned up Fridge wasn’t fixed and finally after 3 hrs they replaced fridge All this while we were hungry, no food beating our head with maintainence staff instead of vacationing C) second night my daughter caught fever at night, I came to reception , but given blunt answer “ we don’t sell medicines” No guidance was given to us about any doctor service we can get - which we expect from vacation club being foreigners on their lane ( guidance only ) D) Last nail in the coffin as they say - housekeeping disposed off our home remedy medicine/spices which are essential to my blood pressure and my wife skin allergy - they disposed it off as rubbish When we returned we couldn’t find it , along with some other kitchen stuff - all of that removed as rubbish As a result our remaining holiday turned into a nightmare as we struggled with our health condition due to lack of our meds E) I had a vacation club gift card - when I tried to use it - reception had no idea how to use it Was standing at reception for 30 min but reception staff was confused and couldn’t figure out how to use gift card of Marriott vacation club itself This was. Surprising - they still didn’t sort it and asked me to leave while they will send me email Overall horrible experience- I was keen on buying membership but this experience turned ne off , if this is how Marriott vacation experience is like Feed back of our experience

The resort is lovely, houses surrounded by lush gardens, lots of diffrent pools and plenty of things to do. The flats and very nice and well equiped. On the other hand the safety is not taken seriously. My daughter was drowning in a pool - I was shouting at the lifeguard but she was too busy looking at the phone - and continued to do some even after I rescued my child and came over to her to say this is unacceptable. I complained to Marriott and lifeguard staff got better, but two day later similar - we go to kids pool and guard is spending all the time looking at the phone. Kids club is another disappointment- they complain it is a busy time and don't want to take 4 year olds. If older kids show up they take older kids first - just ridiculous! I'm sorry but this is not good enough for 620 euro a night resort. I love Marriott, but this one is not the best by far.

Beautiful resort is very peaceful. I would recommend it. There's is no tiki bar. The beach is also not nice. The rocks are huge, and it's very difficult to walk into the water.

We spent 7 wonderful nights at this fabulous place in #3307 a 2BR/2BTH apartment with large terrace and excellent views. Comfortably furnished rooms and fully equipped kitchen with all the dishes, utensils and plenty of glasses, however the only negative was that for some reason there were no coffee cups or mugs. Very clean, well maintained beachfront resort with manicured grounds and lots of amenities. Restaurant and bar onsite however breakfast is on the pricier side and a little hectic due to short but very nice staff. This was my first but certainly not the last visit.

Out-dated, old people's village rather than resort, rooms spacious but could do with renovations and updating. On site food, bland, limited menu and drinks expensive, local Aldi nearby thank God. Front Desk rude until payment taken, note use of Debit card not allowed, only credit cards, and charges taken from your account even after your bills settle and you've returned from this place. Staff more interested in selling TimeShares rather than comfort of your stay. I feel this place is now surviving on its Brand rather than value, service or any things that's meant to make this place a 4 star resort?? Questionable??.. never again! For the money we paid, appalled and disgusted!

I stayed at the hotel this summer. When I checked out, I forgot 2 t-shirts in the wardrobe in the room. I called the hotel just after I left to report them missing and asked for them to be returned. The hotel front office and housekeeping team said that the T-shirts were not found in the room. I asked them to double check because they were 100% in the wardrobe. I called every day for a week to follow up but the hotel didn’t help to find them. Somebody from the housekeeping team has stolen my items. This poor service spoiled my holiday.

We had an absolutely amazing vacation experience here! After all the crazy lockdown in 2020, it was a true pleasure to travel again and stay here! Great amenities and VERY clean…they put a tremendous effort into ensuring a clean and fun atmosphere. We will definitely love to come back, miss it already!

Excellent. I can't say the same for drinks and food. The drinks at the bar for happy hours are very bad. The food is medium. I think for the prices at the bar and in the restaurant food and drink should be very good not average. The apartment and the resort beautiful. The only think I have to say that the floor in the apartment and the terrace were dusty The rest very clean. You have everything you need to enjoy a beautiful vacation.

The rooms are of a good size and have quality furnishings with linens towels and toiletries provided. The programme of activities is varied and the staff leading them are qualified and enthusiastic. The restaurant and bar staff are mostly helpful but there was some confusion about the lunch and early evening deal and room service offer. We enquired about the offer because it was advertised in all the lifts that we had used but.... on enquiring with the restaurant team we were told that the offer was not accurate and the advertised timings were questioned. That said, we had a splendid, freshly prepared late evening meal in the restaurant. Also , we availed ourselves of the Happy hour drinks deal. The Margaritas were delicious!

A beautiful, beautiful hotel. Right on the ocean - on a clear day you can see Gibraltar and Morocco. I mean the place is just absolutely gorgeous and pristine. They have all kinds of activities - paddleboarding, shuffleboard, chess, pool (the game), pools, beach access, volleyball turf... The amenities are great - a restaurant, bar, a huge gym, laundry machines, free parking Loved this spot - we were here for 1 day as a reprieve on a 2 week trip through Spain. Every second here felt so perfect.

Very good experience for a family. the vacation club give you the service of an hotel without being in a hotel. Appartement: large & clean, very functional and all appartement with a nice view Service: top, kids club very good, animation, happy hour for cocktail, reception, market place with reasonable price, several game possibilities. Pool: Only problem for us, Pool are not heated....big désappointement. in April you need to be very brave to use the pool....so important part of the fun is removed. Today it's much cheaper to heat a pool, I don't understand that at least the kids pool is not heated.

My first recollection on arrival was that we could hear the sound of the sea from our bedroom. Bliss! It went upwards from there with three bedrooms, two with balcony. This is a large holiday resort with accommodation of various types offered. There are lots of friendly staff to cater for most of your needs. These staff go out of their way to make the most of your vacation. I even got the opportunity to improve my Spanish, with one to one classes, sometimes with more than one instructor (Mar and Santy, take a bow). Plenty of activities available for all ages, although everything closed at 11.00pm. One small crib I have is that on arrival, late, we had to make our own way to the apartment on the third floor, so didn't even know there was a lift. I had twisted my ankle at the airport, so found it very painful. Late flight was the issue, but no contingency was in place for anything in a higher end resort!

Fantastic hotel, great location on the beach with nice beach bar, which has now closed till February, shops cafes and bar about 10 mins walk away, Marbella about a 15 mins drive away. Had a 2 bedroom corner apartment ( stunning views) that was equipped with absolutely everything and serviced on a daily basis , staff were lovely, extremely helpful and friendly, went out of season had lovely weather, great facilities, ate in the restaurant once which wasn't to my liking, didn't use the daytime snack bar for food, only drinks, but menu looked pretty good but cannot comment, the grounds and outdoor areas are fantastic outdoor BBQs for all to use, table tennis mini golf, sports court, paddle tennis, water slide in one of the kids pool, would definitely recommend this hotel, and look forward to returning soon.

Its not easy to give a Marriott 2 x stars on a review, i was a Gold member before Covid and lost all my Points due to non travel! Im from the UK And i never eat out, im single and cook all my own meals at home for the last 3 x years every day, every night! I booked my room a few weeks in advance and asked for a High Floor room i.e top floor, the reason i always request this as especially in Spain they have Tiled floors in all the rooms, and you can hear all the above noise moving furniture etc so i always try to get a Top floor room in any hotel i stay in plus of course better views usually! Being alone on holiday during these very difficult times for us all INCLUDING hotels and staff! All i wished for was a top floor possibly near the sea so i could hear the sea at night! and a decent hot meal cooked for me not to much to ask for is it? id of been happy with 1-2 out of the 3 The LOVELY Female who checked me in was a LOVELY woman, she tried to show me another room but was too low and next to a more noisy area of the resort so i declined that and had to go for the only other room option on the 2nd floor in the middle of a corridor! Inside the room was Good and was what i kind of expected, i wasn't upset at all with the internal room! My mood went seriously downhill when i found out after travelling from the UK to SPAIN I wasnt even able to sit in a restaurant or BAR and have a Burger and chips and Cola that was my final expectation! The small CAFE next to the Main Gate was packed and did not have 1 x Seat left for me to sit at by myself! Small Café with no burgers ONLY SNACKS Like Pizza and pastries etc I booked this weeks in advance and was very Hungry and Very Tired and all the Assistant manager who stepped in to help me could offer me? There is a GERMAN bar serving burgers ABOVE Aldis a 5 x minute walk away! from outside the resort My mood went rapidly downhill, i felt almost suicidal! Extremely sad and upset! i asked if i could check out early! She said i would loose the other 2 x nights that i paid for Im being 100% Honest here my mood took a very deep dive downwards, i tried to use the wonderful Indoor pool and hot Sauna and whirlpool! But it couldn't help how i felt! I felt so SAD, So Hungry, so tired, so stressed! I felt terrible I went to my room and made some tea and toast and was up the full night with Sadness and was almost crying how i felt cant be forgiven! I was only wanting to sit down at a Nice Bar or Restaurant and have a burger and chips like i did many years ago at the Marbella Marriott Resort I stayed in my room the rest of my first night, Very SAD, Very Hungry, Lonely and upset! I woke up at 3am, 4am 5am and 7am I went on my iPad and booked a flight home to another airport 3 hours away from where i live in the UK just to get away from there! My flight back to the UK Was Friday at 5pm i left on Wednesday 12pm ALL BECAUSE OF THE Marriott's Playa Andaluza LACK OF HOT FOOD restaurant closed, Bar Closed! No Top floor! Yet the resort was VERY QUIET I seen around 20-30 different I was supposed to stay there 3 x nights and stayed 1 x night and left the resort at 8am the day aft as soon as i could via a taxi! When you travel to a foreign country by yourself alone, All you need is some kind of contact and a warm meal! The assistant manager! You suggested after i travelled from the UK to spend my money on your resort that i use a German BAR Above ALDI A 5 x minute walk away to get my burger and chips a national favourite at any Marriott in the WORLD! You couldn't provide me with a better room, A warm meal! And you wonder why i left at 8am in the morning! Solo travellers be very warned as of February 2022 don't come here! People who want to sit at a bar for an hour or two and have a drink or a hot meal Don't come here! Is the resort Lovely? YES The rooms yes The indoor pool and sauna? Yes The way you made me feel Not The food options? Not The restaurant? Not

What a lovely stay we had. The resort is absolutely beautiful, lovely flowers and plants all over. Lots of activities to attend. The staff was all so kind and helpful. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and well equipped. The only thing that was a little bothersome was that you could hear your neighbours easily.
