Healy's Irish Bar & Restaurant

Bar Sports bar Irish pub

👍 This is a great place to go to watch sports, and like any Irish bar worth of the name they show GAA matches as well as the usual big games. Non sports lover can enjoy a cold drink outside overlooking the marina, and the food is pretty decent too. People often mention staff, sports, friendly, great, good, watch, nice, Good, Guinness, Irish,

Just called in for Traditional Sunday Roast, cost €13.50, today's choice is Turkey and all the trimmings (well it is only a week away from Christmas) or roast beef. Good quality food, served quickly and piping hot. Good beer on tap including Guinness. Friendly English speaking staff who are always happy to help. Will certainly be back when in the area again.

A very nice place to go for a drink in Estepona, overlooking the marina and the sea views. They offer good service with a smile, the staff are polite, nice and friendly. Keep up the good work.

I'd definitely be back. I went in for the Arsenal v Man U game. Was really busy but managed to grab a table. There was a guy behind the bar, wearing a Celtic shirt, who made sure he acknowledged everyone who came up to the bar so you knew you'd been seen. He ran a tab in my name for me and made sure the other staff were aware who I was. It was a mad busy day and my last Guinness 0.0 was served with a warm glass, but I could see that he looked everywhere for a glass that wasn't just out the dishwasher and he apologised profusely. Top barman, great banter, defo made our experience even better. The TV's seemed to be ran off of a satelite, so no buffering during the sport, although our TV did flicker on and off now and then, but I'm sure the team are aware of this and trying to find a solution. Good can be bought in from a select couple of eateries near by. Toilets were clean enough considering the amount of people in there. All the other staff were also helpful and smiley. If we're down that way again, we'll definitely be popping in to catch the game. Well done team 👍

Good morning. I came into your bar yesterday after having a lovely meal in a tapas bar in the old town where we paid €140 for a lovely meal and numerous drinks between 6. On the way back to the car someone suggested popping in to you for one drink. The waitress was very pleasant but I am totally disgusted that we were charged €24.40 for two absolut vodkas. Utterly outrageous. We didn’t ask for absolut . We were also wrongly charged €5.70 for a Smirnoff which we didn’t have. I will be coming back to Estepona on Sunday and I will be coming in to challenge this. If you want to charge prices like that you should warn people and not assume. Very angry and won’t ever go there again.

Best Irish Pub in Estepona by far, wouldn't be hard mind you. Plus no one wants too many Irish bars either. Great place to watch a match.

Passed by multiple times per day because I was staying in the marina area. Then went in for a beer and got one. Good atmosphere, even on a rainy low-season day in January.

A good sports bar, a tad pricey, but its in the port so you're paying for the views I guess. (I haven't tried the food)

Only thing good about this place is the views. Omg did the cash in with the price of a pint of guiness 5.90 a pint on the Rugby match between Ireland and Scotland.

This is about the Irish pup „Healy’s“ - not the Puerto de Estepona: It’s a pup for the english speaking expats. It used to have a lot of atmosphere with music once per week some years ago when Owen managed the place. Now it’s nothing special anymore. The white wine was below average.

Two stars because I did eventually get to watch football. It took about 10 mins to actually get football games on screen. Posted outside games advertising were not shown yet two screens showing same game. Dearest pint I had in Estapona and far from the best. Lacked atmosphere and will avoid on my next trip to Estapona...

ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH A VISIT,THEY SAY ITS A BAR AND RESTAURANT BUT THEY HAVE NO KITCHEN SO NO RESTAURANT, ORDER OFF A VERY LIMITED MENU AND THEN FOUND OUT ITS DELIVERED TO YOUR TABLE IN CARTONS AND A CARRIER BAY,WHY BECAUSE THEY BRING YOUR OUDER FROM A TAKE AWAY AWAY FROM ACROSS THE ROAD---BUT HAVE TO SAY IT WAS LOVELY ALL THOUGH VERY EXPENSIVE RIBS AND CHIPS € 33 FOR 2 🤨BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A MEAL OR COOKED BREAKFAST GO ELSEWHERE.LADY BEHIND BAR VERY ABRUPT AND NOT AT ALL FREINDLY, AND NEVER MENTIONED FOOD IS A TAKE AWAY.SHALL NOT BE RETURNING.

Not your typical dark and dingy Irish bar trying to replicate Dublin in the sun. Bright room with three outside terraces - two covered. Sport on multiple channels and screens. Great bar and friendly staff. Not a restaurant, although you can order roast chicken and chips from across the road delivered to your table!

No food at the moment, But staff very friendly and accommodating. They have put on Gaelic football even if I am the only one watching it. I think 4 different programmes can be shown at the same time

The Guinness is always poured well and they have lots of TVs on which to watch sports. But please note that since Feb 21 they have not served food. However you can bring your own and there are plenty of local eateries for takeaway.

We love this place and always pop in a couple of times every time we visit Estepona. Great for live sports with a fun, friendly atmosphere. They will pro-actively make sure everyone is catered for. Perfect location right on the marina. The food is great too so it's easy to find yourself here all day if you're not careful! Highly recommended!
