The food was pretty good . The miso broth surprisingly had white onions 🧅and no tofu,I never had white long cut onions in my miso before 🫣🫣 The mochis were delicious,we ordered all the flavors.The flavors we liked in order starting with the tastiest one :banoffee,matcha,mango,passion,lotus,3 leches What I didn’t like about this place is that they couldn’t accommodate our party of 4 people inside,and we had our table outside(which was nice having some air but not nice having the construction dumpster and all the dusty cars around)

What can I say, other than "spectacular"? We came here as a group of 6, and had some outstanding food here. The tuna tartar was fantastic, the scallop maki was surprisingly great, the mixed sashimi was a wonderful mixture, and the A5 wagyu nigiri was out of this world! All of this, including some really tasty wine and sake, made for a wonderful evening at a wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend that you check this place out. Also, book a table!

Great gem we found on Google Maps 😆 My girlfriend had sushi, really she said, and I had the Yakisoba, really good and fresh too. The edamame’s were the best we’ve had so far. Just a small thing to improve is the choice in non alcoholic beverages. The service was really friendly and fast. We will be back!

Amazing quality, very authentic food including self made soy sauce and real wasabi, nice atmosphere. The Sushi and deserts are top notch (and we eat a lot of Sushi) absolutely worth every €.

Being from the west coast of the United States, I am accustomed to good sushi. Takeko is as good as any that I’ve had. It was so good that I kept ordering more and more food. Everything was amazing from the sushi, mochi, the sake… it really had it all! On top of the immaculate vibe, you couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend if you’re in Estepona

One word...Amazing! The food is so fresh and of such a good quality. You get real good value for money. I love sushi and eat it often. The quality of this restaurant is superbe and the personel is so nice. I especially like that they take the time to make a chitchat. This place is a real gem. Just a tiny thing to improve is please turn up the heater in the winter. It was not so comfortable.

Hands down the best Japanese on the coast! It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The food is out of this world and the owners knowledge of Japanese cuisine is outstanding. Definitely a must if you like great Japanese food (not necessarily sushi)

The food is always exceptional here! This is our favorite Japanese restaurant on costa del sol. We always get the omakase (chef selection) and it never disappoints. The service, the ambience, everything about this place is just lovely.

This place exceeded my expectations. Takeko is a hidden gem for Japanese cuisine enthusiast. This is THEE best sushi I have ever had in my life, who would have known I would have found it in a small town in Spain!The ingredients are fresh, the service is top tier, and there is a serene dining experience. 10/10 will be returning.

The food is great, the waiter was extremely rude. We called to reserve a table for 4 and a baby, specifically requesting a baby chair. There were 7 kids in the small space and it was noisy. But the way we were treated for coming with a baby is unacceptable. And if the management is not prepared to handle an evening with more children than usual, then they should revise the restaurant policy.

We love sushi! During our family visit we tried this local sushi place. Because of our kids we cannot dine in, so we de decided to take-out. I’ve never had such great sushi in Europe. This place serves amazing sushi! It is as good as in Japan. Really fresh and the taste is so good. We’re definitely coming back for more ☺️ because this makes us really happy 😊 thank you for that!

Takeko is a real asset to Estepona, Good authentic Japanese restuarants are hard to find on the Costa del Sol. Mostly they are owned by Chinese and have weird combinations, like Shushi and Piza. The restuarant is aesthetic and the food of very high quality, as master chef I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a good dining experience! Tried salmon and tuna sashimi, wonderful fish with a really good flavor. Also ramen are very delicious and mochi as well! Everything homemade. Will definitely comeback to have another great meal.

Magnificent Japanese cuisine in the center of Estepona. Exquisite service and fabulous creations. A must if you feel like trying something different... and better!
