Probably the best beach in Spain, what do i know? Parking is a nightmare at kids kicking out time. Park in the market place, always empty and free! just a short walk.

This is an amazing location, we've been many times and it's never disappointed. The people are lovely, the food is amazing and the beer is always chilled. The kids love the beach and the weather is hot.

Great beach never super busy and always warm and clean during summer.

Fantastic clean beach that was wild when we were there. The toilets were very clean with toilet tissue but no soap. There are plenty of full body and foot beach showers. They even have a seat.

Very good beach , near parking , coffe bar, restaurant. Shower on every 50 m. Great for kids

Staying in a lovely house here in la cala the apartment is superb. Very pleased to recommend the apartment & the area.

It was very quite, unfortunately for the people whose lives depend on tourists, but they have kept up their high standards, great service, friendly, efficient, hard working people. The beach very well kept every thing done with a smile. Come see for yourself, can't go wrong.

Beach is almost all sand, with only a few pebbles. Town of Mijas is right there, so close to cafes, restaurants and services. When we were there in July 2018, there was a lot less sand than a year earlier, as some bad winter storms washed a lot away. Still parts of it sill have plenty of sand and it is a classic Malaga beach location which means very busy in the summer.

Well located area of Spain. More Spanish than British but that's not a bad thing. It has alot of things that look run down and full of graffiti, but that is all over Spain and let's it down. This is no marbella or Benadorm which is good. So if you need a quite holiday with good all round amenities this is the place to come.

Probably one of the best ones in the Calahonda/Calas de Mijas area. Not a very white-ish sand but doable. Recommend.
