πŸ‘πŸ‘ I got in touch with Robert trough my family. They were not lying when they said that offered a great day on the water. I had a lovely time. I was glad to see that Robert was actually sailing, rather than motoring on the water. People often mention Robert, great, sailing, experience, time, trip, sail, dolphins, drinks, family,

We went for a 4 hour sail today. Captain Rob was awesome, the wind was perfect, the dolphins were playful and we had a great time. Rob speaks fluent English and was very accommodating.

Captain Robert made our holiday. Wanted to introduce the fascinating activity of sailing to my family and Robert seemed to be just the right and experienced person around the Strait / Costa del Sol to do so. So we booked a morning trip of 4 hours, which was absolutely worth it. The kids enjoyed it as a highlight of their holiday. The donut was heaps of fun. As a cherry on the pie, a pod of dolphins escorted us for almost 5 mins. You never know if they are around. Sailing is the priority and Captain Robert knows the ropes and creates an unique and passionate private sailing charter. He can speak Dutch, English and Spanish too. There were drinks on board and some light lunch of 'queso con pan'. Gracias / Shokran / Dankjewel / Thank you!

We had a fabulous half day sailing from Estepona port today. Robbert is a really nice guy who is truly passionate about sailing. Booking wss easy via a few WhatsApp exchanges, lovely lunch and drinks included. My family all loved swimming when the yacht was anchored, no dolphins for us today but tbh just being out in the open sea under sail was enough of a memorable experience ! Totally recommended.

Yesterday we sailed with my wife and two daughters with Robert and his boat. The trip was neatly arranged by Robert, a hospitable experienced captain. The children had the greatest fun with the pool. The lunch with various drinks, cheeses, ham and tortilla de patata con cebolla were excellent! It was a great trip with a nice boat and good experienced captain.

We rented Robert’s sailboat for 3 hours with my family and we had a great time! He and his wife are keen on sailing and explained us a lot about the sea, the boat and area. Both are super kind and made us a amazing snack plate on the beautiful turn. We even saw dolphins - Thank you!

Had a great evening on a sunset sail, lots of laughs and beautiful views! Nice to have the ability to do a private tour at an affordable price and sail along the coast. Food and drinks were provided which was simple but great. Would recommend!

We were in the area for a week and saw a few boats while at the beach. Decided to go on an afternoon private sail. So glad we did. Other than getting out of and back into the harbor, we were under wind power the entire time. It was a really nice way to spend the afternoon out on the water relaxing.

We had a great time sailing with Robert. We asked Robert to show us the ropes and he was a great host and teacher. We're considering booking him again for a longer trip to Morocco.

We booked with Robert via what's app and a phone call - responded very quickly to any questions we had and made great positive suggestions We were a party of nine - 4 adults and 5 teens and we all found a space on the boat either on the cockpit or the fore deck on the mattress that doubles as a sea mattress. We booked four hours- and it was a very relaxed four hours - the agenda was ours Very quickly we launched into the tow along doughnut which was great fun - plenty fast enough behind the yacht and shortly after we stopped for swimming We enjoyed a lovely array of bread, cheeses, cold meats and warm Spanish omelette. plenty of beverages were provided throughout our trip. Some more fun in the doughnuts and swimming - then someone spotted dolphins and we were dolphin spotting in gentle pursuit - our hosts as eager and thrilled as we were to spot them. Four hours making memories in the med with the beautiful back drop of Estepona and it's mountains behind. Would we recommend - most definitely "To discover new oceans you must first loss sight of your existing horizons"

My wife, Alice, and I took an sunset boat trip with Robert from Sailing the Strait last Friday. It was a brilliant experience, and one of the highlights of our holiday. Booking was very straightforward through Whatsapp. Robert was friendly and accommodating. We managed to get the sails out, which was great. The sunset was beautiful. All of this was excellent value at 75 euros per person, and that included a bottle of Cava. When looking at other operators for boat trips, I couldn't find another private charter for 2 people at such good value. I'd recommend this to anyone, and would be very tempted by one of the longer trips in the future.

We met Robert for the private 2hr sunset sail and it was brilliant, as soon as we was out of the port the engine was turned off and the Sails up and took over, the sound of the waves and Sails made it very relaxing and romantic. Served with good quality wine and lovely selection of cheeses and Parma ham made it even more enjoyable, even helped the ropes ! Sunset was great to see, brillant end to another amazing time in Estepona thanks again David & Sam

Awesome escapade, a dreamy finest experience in Estepona with a very relaxed and friendly captain Robert :) This tour was an absolute highlight on our vacation so far! We could see plenty of dolphins- it was breathtaking. 45 sailing alongside 🐬 🐬 x7, simply stunning A few stops for a refreshing dip in the sea and a donut experience were truly amazing as well ! Getting some sun on the spacious deck was also well appreciated :) Overall, highly recommended! Thank you very much and see you next time xx

Robert is a very genial and experienced skipper. Our family of 4 did the private 4hr afternoon trip and it was perfect. Other than getting in/out of harbour, we were under sail for the entire time, so could enjoy the sound of the waves and wind in the sails rather than a diesel engine like some of the other boats that do trips from the port. The kids enjoyed being towed in the doughnut, and jumping off/swimming when we anchored for a bite to eat. Highly recommended

An amazing experience. Fun, safe and very reasonable prices for a 4 hour sailing experience! He to idea drinks and Spanish tapas. We loved being able to watch dolphins and the kids absolutely loved playing in the water with the inflatable. Thanks Robert for an amazing experience. We will come back for sure.
