This is already my second stay at this hotel chain. It's a very good hotel, with many amenities. There's a vast area with golf fields, very good breakfast, nicely decorated rooms, and an overall stylish hotel. Just remember that parking is an additional cost - €18 per day. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel and pulled up to the front door, we were denied access to the parking and had to drive to park and then walk with our suitcases - a bit strange for a 5-star hotel. Despite this incident, we were satisfied with the hotel and service. The only thing that could be improved was the view from our room.

Best hotel to stay in, it’s a gem in Marbella. The service level is insane, I came here with my husband for our honeymoon and honestly we don’t wanna leave. All staff are very polite professional and very friendly. They surprised with with a bottle of champagne and strawberries coated with chocolate omg delicious , food here is insane nothing but top quality. Room is very spacious with the terrace and view is incredible. It’s by far my favorite hotel i have ever visited. Thank you for marking our honeymoon extra special 🥰

We go once a month to enjoy a game of Backgammon, get introduced to very interesting people from so many nationalities and enjoy the scenery as well as the prestigiousness of the 🌟 quality they claim to provide but in all honesty they lack so much that one wonders who qualifies them and how often do they get certified or is it simply once and they hang it on the wall and try to sustain because your service and Bar kitchen doesn't deserve a single 🌟. I'll start with the order of Orange Juice which tasted lumpy and for sure not as fresh as we anticipated. We even asked 2 friends and they confirmed it should be returned and when we brought this to the attention of the waiter, he started a dialogue which lead to an argument and again we didn't come here to have an argument. It would have been much easier to apologize and bring another. The second incident took place when someone at our table ordered a Hamburger with cheese and Bacon and to everyone's surprise, the Burger was presented upside down not to mention how stale the Bun was and it makes me think! What kind of Chef would do such a thing and at such a prestigious establishment and what why. The person who ordered the Hamburger pointed this out to the same waiter and asked him to ask the Chef to Google pictures of other Hamburgers in case he was not taught how to make one at culinary school assuming he really did attend one. Sorry how many Stars 🌟 did this establishment claim to have? because someone isn't doing a good job and your staff clearly don't enjoy representing you well and I hope you have a better explanation. This survey (above) asks for Rooms, Service & Location which I find confusing. It's true I haven't experienced staying here and you can read my remarks about the Service but the Location is truly very impressive

We went there to have dinner and some drinks and the environment and the service were great till we needed to get our car from the parking. After 30 min of crazy lines and situations, we managed to pay 6€ after complains, sweat and bad moods. Fix it, please, it completely breaks the experience for everyone. The fact that it is managed by a third party is not an excuse. Talk to that third party and fix it, it is part of your infrastructure. Apart from losing my time in a horrible temperature, I was really ashamed of the perception of all the foreigners that were there, shocked and complaining to a 5 stars hotel.

Imagine heaven on Earth, that's basically what it is. The hotel facilities were immaculate, the spa was well equipped, the masseuse was very well trained and left me feeling super relaxed. The grounds are just beautiful- enjoyed lunch out on the terrace overlooking the lake, can see the sea in the back behind all the trees. Just an absolutely lavish experience!

STAY AWAY! Sick making airco. You can hear Your neighbor flushing his toilet realy loud. Service is non-existen. Complained about the noise to compensade they give me a plate of sliced fruit! Rooms are very dated. Also the food is not at the standards of a 5 star hotel. Only come here to play golf! Spa treatmands are very good. Never again!

We had a very nice dinner at the Veranda restaurant. Tables were set up in the garden around the fountains, with nice candle lights on the table. Service was impeccable and food delicious. Really a place to recommend to have either a romantic dinner or an elegant dinner with friends!

Last night we've went to one of the Candlelight concerts in Villa Padierna. The hotel facilities are amazing, but the bartender's service was way above for 5-star hotel. We asked for a bottle of water and sparkling wine, as we were in a rush for the start of the concert. The bartender asked us to wait for 15 mins saying it in the worst way possible.

Just back home from what was one of the most incredible hotel experiences we've ever had. After two nights at Villa Padierna celebrating our anniversary, we felt like we had to share our experience with others. Even before arriving at the hotel, the team were incredibly helpful and responsive over email to our questions and requests which made for a great start. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a host of nice people, given a detailed tour (without being overwhelming) of the facilities and surprised with a room upgrade. We were a tad early for check in so the room was still being prepared – while waiting we had a couple of drinks and croquetas on the patio overlooking the golf course. Having checked into the room, we had the consigliere help us book an evening activity of Flamenco in Marbella (a must visit) which on short noticed we really appreciated. Over the next two days we enjoyed visits to the very well-equipped Spa, enjoyed the breakfast buffet, relaxed by the pool in the stunning gardens, visited the beach club (great food and relaxed atmosphere) and had a lovely anniversary dinner in the hotel gardens (La Veranda). A special thank you to Uxia and Jose for your fantastic service – though every member of the team we encountered made the visit feel special.

In nearly every aspect a perfect offer for vacations. Rooms, always present service, restaurants, breakfast. Even for someone who is not playing golf a nice and quiet location to visit Gibraltar, Ronda, Malaga etc. It is not cheap, but worth the money and extras like valet parking are fairly priced.

Fabulous hotel set in a stunning location. Couldn't ask for a better hotel and setting for the wedding of my nephew.

Spectacular EVERYTHING!! I have to say that Carlota was phenomenal (I have never experienced better customer service) dealing with a little hiccup I had and sorting it out wonderfully and making it even better. The room was fantastic (loved the layout of the bathroom with the two sinks at opposite ends) and the view from my room. The massage I had with Nok was the best massage I have ever had (and I have had my fair share all around the world). The dinner on the terrace with the live music was very special. The steak tartare was phenomenal and the service outstanding. The breakfast was the best I've had in any hotel. A huge congratulations to this hotel who got it right on every level. A truly memorable experience!!

We enjoyed every bits and pieces of this stay in Marbella. The hotel was amazing in all aspects. It provided an extraordinary services. Hope to visit again next summer. Special thanks goes to Raool and Oishea in guest relations for always meeting our needs. Also, to the wonderful “Narea” in breakfast who always welcomed us with warm greetings !

I was very lucky to spend a few days at this fabulous property due to a fam trip organized by NH/Minor. The location, facilities and service are world class, loved every aspect of my stay. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful at any time. Food is great as well, we had our thanksgiving dinner at La Veranda. The spa is also fantastic and unique in the whole area. I even went for several swims in the outdoor pool. The golf courses are fantastic and I can’t wait to play them all during my next stay! Big thank you to everyone, you are amazing 🙏🏻

Came to Marbella for my Birthday with my sister. We got to the hotel and they got our room wrong (bare in mind we arrived very late) which meant we had to change rooms and move all the birthday decorations out late at night. The second day we couldn't find any beds at the poolside so we went to the bar and was ignored by the lady. After waiting 10 minutes and asking to be served nothing happened so we left after being treated very disrespectfully. We complained about the way we were made to feel but they did nothing. Finally, the food is really poor for a 5 star hotel. Its just about good enough for a 2 star. Other than the scenery, this hotel has nothing else to offer. Rude staff, felt so unwelcome that we didn't even want to come out of our room. If you are looking for somewhere that actually feels 5 star then I would recommend the 7 Pines resorts in Sardinia and Ibiza.

As a hotel should be! I have stayed in many establishments but Anantara Marbella has exceeded my expectations. The interior is beautifully made, with beautiful materials and radiates luxury and tranquility. All the staff are knowledgeable and polite, without being too distant or too personal. The food is tasty and beautifully presented. It might be a good idea to offer not only a la carte in the Veranda restaurant, but also a surprise or choice menu.

This hotel is even more beautiful in person! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, and I cannot express how truly exceptional the experience was. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail was unparalleled. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and it was made even more special because it coincided with our engagement day. They had thoughtfully prepared a surprise that left us both in awe. It was a day filled with magic and romance, and the hotel played a pivotal role in making it perfect. Every detail, from the decor to the dining, showcased a commitment to excellence. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff who made our stay truly exceptional. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for our well-being were evident in every interaction. If you're looking for a place where service, attention to detail, and romance converge, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return to create more cherished memories.

I've never written a review. But this time I can’t keep quiet about such rudeness. We arrived at the hotel on our day off and wanted to have a good time. At the entrance we were met by a parking attendant who demanded from us the keys to our expensive car. We calmly asked: why do we need to leave the keys if, at the first request, we will park our car in the required place. To which they heard an arrogant speech shouting that these are the rules. We left the keys and I calmly asked to lower the tone when talking to me. The parking attendant continued to yell at me, which completely ruined the mood. I asked for support at the reception, saying that they were shouting at me, and this behavior is not acceptable for staff in relation to guests. The girl said I just misunderstood. It's sad that a hotel's service of this level protects its employees, not its guests!

Rooms were very clean and staff were very helpful. There is a valet car parking charge of €18 per night which is reasonable but given the high price of this hotel, it could have been free. Breakfast was great except the coffee machine which gave different quality of coffee every day and mostly unacceptable standard for coffee drinker unless you are used to drinking instant coffee. The pool was beautiful. You will need a car or taxis to go in and out of this hotel as it is placed within residential areas and a golf course.

First impression as you arrive - the sheer size of it. Like you look on the website and you see how big it is, but it doesn’t prepare you for how big it REALLY is when you are there. And how much it spreads around the area. (I think they also have like holiday homes on the grounds) Anyways we are met as the cab pulls up to the entry, our bags taken and we are guided to the reception where we are checked in and taken to our rooms via a quick mini tour of the restaurants/spa. Room - well, what can I say, simply stunning. Massive bed (must be a super duper king or something), beautiful furniture, at least a 50 inch TV. And most importantly A/C that chills you very so beautifully. Bathroom - his and hers sinks, shower & a bathtub - plus a separate toilet & bide portion. And the views, oh breathtaking. Green grass and sunshine. Being on a resort you really have to eat in the restaurants - unless you want to go into town, which was not an option for us. We were lazy. And also town (Marbella) is about 10km or so away - ain’t nobody got time for that. The food was lovely - all fresh, mostly healthy, and all with a smile. Breakfast is always my best meal when am on holiday, and this is up there with the best of them. Fresh honey on the combs, fresh fruits, cheeses and eggs and oh you name it they had it. The pool is not massive but positioned in a such a place that it gets the sun when it needs it - and the water feels like butter on your skin. Also all the trees planted around makes it feel like you are in the jungle, on a river that’s not flowing. The Spa has the most amazing treatments - we had a massage, manicure & pedicure. And I have to commend Joyce who did my nails - she was wonderful. My hands/feet have never felt better. Thank you so much!!! A really relaxing time was had enjoying all the wonderful amenities - and the concierge did everything to make our stay brilliant. I have to add that the idea of having the concierge service on WhatsApp is just brilliant - if only all companies can do the same, communication will be so much easier and life will be simpler.

Wonderful Stay ! Willing to come back! I have experienced this Hotel for the first time last week. It was a 3 nights break but it looked like been there for an entire week. Magnificent staff, attention to every single detail, great gastronomy and wide range of options...10 out of 10!

I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at Villa Padierna and found the hotel to be truly stunning. The décor is luxurious and service was perfect. The outdoor areas were also beautiful and made for some perfect spaces to photograph in.

This is the one place I have been to and nothing was wrong. Excellent is the absolute and fair thing to say. garden view suit worth every penny paid for. I have been there twice and will will be there anytime I visit Marbella. Though I have my own house, but be there for two days not leaving the resort is the best gift I can offer for myself.

Our stay was extraordinary! We stayed for our anniversary. Room allocation was perfect (satisfying our needs). Amazing service from a helpful reservation agent untill our departure, with an attentive porter. A wide range of restaurants, high quality in La Veranda, we highly recommend to try it. Definitly we felt pampered. Big tanks to all staff, looking forward to come back to the Palace!

It was a wonderful stay it's amazing so many things to do. They have a lovely cafe the afternoon tea was amazing but the scones is much better with the traditional Cornish cream. You can walk in a sunny afternoon. There's a lake outside. You can fine for lunch and dinner there's Japanese food downstairs. You can play golf too.

The hotel and its surrounding are beautiful but it’s the staff who made my stay extraordinary. From the moment I entered the hotel until my departure I felt welcomed and pampered. All staff were amazing, helpful and attentive. It felt like I was being taken care of by one big family. The weather has been awful almost throughout my whole stay so I spent a lot of time in the large hotel spa which is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Shout out to the great spa manager Ione and her team (Saloua, Cristina, and others) for their help and treatment recommendations. Big thanks to all (Bianka, Julio, Daniel, Tony, Miriam and others)! I will for sure come back!

One of the wonderful hotels in Marbella and its distinctive view. My experience in the restaurant was with my family. The food was Italian and international, and the dishes were very tasty and delicious, and the service was excellent.

I’ve been here in this magical place for few days, one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever been in my life, surrounded by nature, the room view on the lake is breathtaking, the food, the swimming pool, the spa, the landscapes and the super professional staff, specially Uxía e Raúl, all of then were going beyond the limits to satisfy every single need. I felt in love with this place and for sure I’ll be back again. If you go to Marbella don’t think twice and just go to this spectacular hotel.

Played Los Flamingos course. The Greens and Tee boxes were in absolutely shocking condition. The greens were just hollow tined, burnt all over and 90% sand.

This was a musical event in the hotel's open air auditorium. Piano interpretations of Coldplay numbers that frankly didn't work. The pianist was quite heavy handed and hit a number of wrong notes a day the way in which the music was transcribed made it very repetitive. The grounds are very nice and having been before we took cushions as the marble seats are hard. One of the stewards kept telling people not to take photos although I can't see why. To be honest this was €90 I could have spent somewhere else for a one hour event (although we escaped early)
