A warming, hearty, vibrant restaurant located in a quite corner of the Estepona buzzy restaurant neighbourhood. The menu took us by surprise with its Caribbean influence. Nevertheless it was one of the best dining experience during our stay this time. I chose the Lamb Tarkari, and the meat was impossibly tender and heavenly gravy, rich yet not too heavy. The fishes are also perfectly cooked withCaribbean spices. Also loved their Kefta and Grilled Salmon. Services are super child friendly and warm. Highly recommended if you want something slightly different from the local menu.

Very good restaurant with one of the best Mexican styled food nearby. Very kind, charming, helpful and cheerful waitress. Indoor and outdoor are nice and new. Food is delicious especially nachos, fried potatoes with sauce, wraps, burgers, extraordinary ribs and (I don't remember but it was pork or beef) cheeks. Very good and underrated Aperolu and other drinks. Excellent place to have a lunch or meet with bunch of friends. Definitely recommended.

Carla welcomed us with open arms and told us how Jazmely Pimienta, her friend and the chef, cooks with passion and gives a lot of attention to the fresh ecologic ingredients. She comes from a long line of Chefs, her mother and grandmother are Chefs as well. We ordered the Pimienta salad, Grilled Salmon and the Creole Venezuelan rice dish with beef stew and black beans. As a desert we had the Mango Surprise, presented in a huge cup. Everything was so beautiful and tasty. We loved every dish we had here. We will come back and try more of the menu. Healthy and delicious food made with LOVE!

First impressions walking through the door was WOW. The size of the place and decor was amazing. Initially there were only a couple of other table occupied and the service was good but as it filled up to just over half full, the staff of 4 were overrun and the service was nonexistent. The food was of a good standard with large portion sizes.

The restaurant is fairly big, but mostly empty - don’t be fooled though, the service and the food are great! We were assisted by Carla and at a later time a young Ecuadorian girl. They were both so friendly and nice. They serve the food fairly fast and it was all delicious. I had a great experience with the service and highly recommend this place. They were even very accommodating to my sons allergies to fish and kept that in mind when making his fries. We also got the ribs but didn’t get to take a picture because they were gone in seconds.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant - beautiful decor inside and a nice outdoor eating area, and friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious - the gambas pil pil was bursting with flavour and the ribs with bbq sauce were very tender and succulent. The strawberry surprise dessert was perfect to share for two after a filling meal. Portion sizes were generous and excellent value for money. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our delicious dinner here. They have a great variety of dishes on the menu and we loved each one we tried. The restaurant itself is very spacious and well decorated and the friendly staff were very attentive and polite. We will definitely be going back for more!

WOW!! This place is so good that I would happily eat there every day!! It has been a recent discovery and already we’ve eaten there twice in a week!! Every dish we’ve ordered has been amazing for taste and freshness, and for the quality of food it is excellently priced. My plan is to try everything on the menu!! I think I will find it hard to find an actual favourite dish, as each one is so delicious. The nachos are the best I’ve ever tasted...anywhere!!

Food was incredible! Staff was incredible. Best octopus and shrimp pil pil I’ve had in this area. Salmon tartare was also amazing. Definitely will eat here again!!

Simply Wow. Zinging with flavours, lovely staff, large portions. Definitely a different experience. Salmon tartare with avocado and mango was beautifully seasoned and dressed. House salad again - spot on seasoning. The fish curry superb! Mango surprise pudding enough for 2 or 3. All in all highly recommended. Very different to the normal Spanish fare, and a worthwhile detour (slightly) off the beaten track. We will be back.

We just bought a house here in Estepona and got word that there was a great small restaurant in the heart of the city. Took my family here for just after Christmas and was really surprised by both the quality of the food and also the fantastic service of the staff. Regardless of if you got served by the manager or the servers they were fantastic. Family feeling of the staff where the try to make you feel at home. Food was of exceptional quality. We had people try both vegetarian, fish and meat and were all suprised by how good it was. Can definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves the flavours of the world.

Very happy to have discovered Pimienta. The food was perfect and lots of it! Very inventive menu, friendly staff and perfectly reasonable prices for the quality and location. Sat on the terrace in a pretty square but the inside looked lovely as well. Will be back soon!

We have ordered Goulash and Curry. Curry was amazing, atypical, the taste was so rich and tasty, it is rare to find so tasty around here. Goulash was even better, not exact as they do in Hungary bur influenced by African spices if I remember correctly… it was heaven in mouth. It worked beautifully and was super tasty! A big thank you to the chef!!

A new place with it's own style of cooking,all of our dishes were superb and beautifully presented. the open kitchen was very interesting, the chefs conjuring up delicious meals with a smooth expertise. Friendly,helpful and informative staff making the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant is designed in an unusual,interesting and decorative way. Exceptionally clean,especially the toilets.

We dined there on a sunday while El Classico was being palyed, so we were the only customers. After some intitial challenges ordering wine and being suggested there is a Rosé Chardonnay, we got it cleared up and found out that no Chardonnay existed and we got a very good Albariño from Galicia. After that it was easy sailing. All the portions were exuisitely made and we left happy and satisfied, although 150 euros less affluent, which is quite a lot for a two person meal in this region.

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND** Food was brilliant, overall theme and atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing, staff were very kind and very knowledgeable of all the foods offered on the menu, lots of good banter with the staff... Food felt so homely and made with love, special thanks to the chef! We ordered all of the recommendations that our waiter offered. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE MANGO SURPRISE!!!

Pimienta is a faded version of what it could be and probably was at one time. Bathroom was clean but flush button was missing, you had to stick your finger in to get it to flush. Trash container was too small and overflowing with hand towels, at 7 pm. Service was good and we enjoyed talking to both servers. I had the Sea Bream and it was superb; great fish and well cooked. My wife was a little disappointed with dressing on her salmon and stir fry although the fish was 'fine'. The balsamic glaze on the fish was too much and too sweet. The stir-fried peppers had too much oil on them. Their house wine had absolutely nothing to recommend it (although I did have a second glass but not because I enjoyed it). House wine at other local restaurants is much, much better. For dessert we had the 'mango surprise'. I realize management probably think this is their signature dessert, however IMO it's not suitable for adults. Cute, but way too sweet. The coffee was undrinkable - not hot and too strong. I don't like posting poor reviews. My wife says 'why bother, we won't be going back'. The restaurant is not bad but it should be much better. I take the view the restaurant might prefer to have the opportunity to improve.

The food selection and quality, as well as the venue I give 5 stars but despite the staff being VERY friendly the service was shambolic and slow. I was brought the wrong meal, it took quite long to get service or for orders to arrive and there were errors. Still, I had a good time and it is a HUGE restaurant with cool hammock swing seats indoors, and a large outdoor area as well. It's relatively new so I think the staff are still finding their rhythm. Unlike most venues in the old town, the indoor space is enormous, so I expect they'll do well in winter.

Silent place with huge space. As a appetitive was strange shot from beetroot, I think. The salad tasty, the shrimps pil pil strange, but I wouldn’t like eat them again. And merluza delchef just ordinary, nothing special. Still water included with additional charge 1.5EUR and this is unfair.

Very good food and friendly staff. Pimiento salad and scampi pilpil with fried eggs where splendid. The chateau briand was also very good.

Nicely designed restaurant with indoor and outdoor tables. We enjoyed the Cuban style main dish, not to mention the impeccabe service.
