Superb service - answered my questions concisely, correctly and very quickly. My first port of call when I'm unsure about any of the rules and regulations that apply when living in Spain. They absolutely know their stuff!

Singularly unhelpful. I had the audacity to very politely ask why a post was still pending only to receive a piece of curt feedback. My posting remains pending despite other postings appearing. If that is the level of professionalism that is normal it beggars belief. I do expect a curt reply as it seems their way of dealing with anything that isn't glowing about them. Having read their response I would clarify.... 1. There was nothing in the least bit sensitive about my posting. 2. I did not jump the queue or expect to. 3. I did ask why the delay and got quite a snotty reply... M I stand by my statement that the lady who was dealing with my perfectly reasonable query was just being small minded. They can try and re-present facts to suit them but that reflects even more badly on them. Shame on you.

An excellent site. Well run by a very dedicated team, with quick replies to questions that always based on facts, not guesswork. The volunteer admins are particularly good and helpful. The website has a wealth of information on it. Highly recommended.

If I ever want a factual answer, I come to this site. Most are prepared answers and one off questions are answered as well. From my perspective, one of the most reliable sources of information available here to me in Spain. Thank you one and all.

I have been fortunate to get good, correct and fast response from this free service in Spain. I found them particularly good regarding tax returns. They are a great help with the understanding Spanish law. Thanks to you all.

Very grateful to CAB Spain. On all occasions we have had brilliant and helpful advice. We are so lucky that there are knowledgeable people who volunteer their time and expertise for our benefit.

The group provides fantastic support for English speaking expats in Spain - totally staffed by knowledgeable / expert volunteers. Members can either get excellent one to one advice from a volunteer at a very very minimal cost and / or post a query on the members forum. There, the 'public' advice comes from generally well meaning members of the group but needs to be treated with care as that advice reflects their experience and doesn't always reflect best practice or the strictly legal position!!! I'd heartly recommend any and every English speaking expat joins the group - the free information alone is priceless!

This is my go to place for advice here in Spain. So many things are different to what I was used to in the UK, and everything is here in one place. I can't count the number of times I have suggested to others to visit this site if they have an issue or a query on a particular subject. The rules on various subjects ie healthcare have changed so much over the years and CAB Spain keep up to date so you can always be sure you have the most recent advice. Keep up the good work

Very informative website, with gteat resources. Fortunately, my spouse and I are fluent in Spanish, and we are both familiar with specific areas of Spanish law, especially regarding our real estate holdings. However, in areas of the Spanish legal system where we are not well versed, we know that we can draw upon the experience and resources of this organization. We find the site to be well organized, informative, and professional. And have found the staff to be professional and informative. I have referred this site to anyone who has expressed an interest in purchasing in Spain, and will continue to do so, as it is a great help for all expats.

Fantastic free resource of information with a wealth of expert step-by-step user guides on everything from how to register as a foreign national or submit your tax return online to getting a digital certificate, which allows you to do most everything else. Should you need personalised advice, a dedicated volunteer is available offline or can direct you to a professional. Users share experiences on the FB page of how experiences differ from region to region, which is infiltrated by the odd troll that needs to get life, so would recommend making a small donation via the website for further advice if you can't find what you need in the documents library.

I've had a surprisingly poor experience with CAB Bureau Spain. When I paid the (admittedly modest) fee to get advice on my residency problems, they sent me a response telling me, "Pleased that this will be resolved soon", which was not the case, and without offering any guidance. But far, far worse was my experience with the "Lawyer Smart Card" service they recommend or promote, who don't have space online to be reviewed separately from CAB Spain. When I tried to cancel the card five days after ordering it, they refused to let me do so, then even when I offered to physically return the card they reluctantly agreed to refund me just 20 euros out of the 100 they had charged me, claiming that the card had cost them 80 euros to produce, which I do not believe and something which they consistently refused to answer. It eventually took them four months to refund just the 20 euros, something which I had to chase them about seven times in the end - at which point they started aggressively complaining that I was an annoying customer, and that I was in fact not their customer, given that I had cancelled the service. I then received several further abusive communications from them, without having ever issued any myself - I was courteous, patient, and even apologetic at every stage for having chosen to cancel the service. Lawyer Smart Card addressed their correspondence to me as "Robert", which is not my name, and sent me the card in a hand-addressed envelope, with their only available call centre in Gibraltar, not in Spain where I live. Also, their service is officially useless, because you can just google a top Spanish immigration lawyer in Spain, and almost all of them speak English, including the one I found in Santander (via Google search). Lawyer Smart Card (or the service - or lack of it - that they provide) is a throwback to the 90s in the form of a "service" so useless as to be essentially deserving of the description "scam", which is the very opposite of what you would expect from the "Citizens Advice Bureau", who are normally there to PROTECT you from such artists. A great pity. *** Further to the owner's reply to my review, I wasn't trying to "continue" my communication with them any further, which would obviously be pointless, I was simply reviewing them on Google like any normal customer of a service is entitled to do. All my comments here were accurate and relevant.

A great place to find your way around the Spanish systems. It's an invaluable place for information on so many topics..also a library of forms you may need as well as links to external sites. It's always my first port of call...invaluable!

. The rude old women I got through to is neither helpful or professional . Took up most of the phone call giving me a sermon about British politics and her own political opinions . I had no interest in this or wallowing In the spilled milk of Brexit I was looking for a practical and to the point advice and then got told that she had no more time to blather on over own ego . Seemed quit narcissistic and the service is not fit for purpose or 2023 Needs to get more factual and take on people who still posses a sharp set of communication skills . Not ones that cloud a session with their own Guardian soap box . Better off doing you’re own research seemed worse then the terrible CAB non services of the UK
