This is a real estate ghetto trying to be a 5 star hotel to attract villa buyers. It has no soul. Golf course beautiful, decor stunning and chic, Food very average. Wine advice great. Housekeeping top notch. Facilities great. Concierge and reception service awful. Avoid their recommendations! Overall if you want a ghetto experience with no soul or simply want to play golf it is fabulous but i am interested in more that being the other end of some real estate developers tentacles

Hotel In Decline I have been coming to the Finca Cortesin hotel since it opened. A beautiful hotel with impeccable customer service. Nothing like it on the coast until a steady decline starting over the past few years… I called up six times last week to come to the spa. The phone cut off six times. I was promised a manager would call me back, no one did so I had to phone for the seventh time. Anyway, I came along to the spa. The spa was nice but the girls were always on their phones and had to ask for her for my own tea. I then had a tea and cake by the pool and the waiter short changed me by five euros and did not give me a bill. Very suspicious. That ruined my day. Next, I called up the day after to let a manager know. The phones were still cutting out even after I had already told the manger days before. I explained what had happened and he said he would investigate and I still have not heard back from him. I told this story to a friend who stays there every month and she said they still play the same music for the past seven years. The same band playing. The same menus. Not even any vegan, ketogenic foods, plant based meat, or alternatives to potatoes such as sweet potato. Unfortunately, this hotel has become complacent even though there are many boutique hotels opening up on the coast. I sincerely hope they sort it out, I write this to shake them up so it can return to its former glory. I telephoned the manager again after he promised to get back to me. Only to be told that it was a genuine mistake being short changed and he spoke to the girls in the spa. Clearly defending his team is far more important than keeping his customers happy. Finally, I decided to speak to the manager first before considering posting this complaint. He told me he is unaware Google Reviews exist. He did say his marketing team check social media every three months. That clearly demonstrates they are not on the ball when it comes to customer feedback or customer service and as you can see not one review has been thanked or answered. Great test of golf. Played in mid February, course condition was excellent, greens were so fast. staff were really friendly.

Expensive golf course. But the condition of the course after a light rain the day before the game was terrible .. the course sank. When paying, no one warned that we can’t ride the course on a buggy. We wanted to return the money but heard in response: "If you don't want to play, don't play, but we won't refund your money.Very strange service ... But it was never good here.

Stunning location. Beautiful finca. We went to Kabuki Raw for dinner which was an absolute pleasure. Would suggest going a la carte and skipping the tasting menu. A few of the dishes on the tasting menu (mostly the thin sliced fish) did not pack as much of a punch as one might expect, but this was more than compensated for the sushi which was delicious and the desert which was divine.

The most gorgeous hotel!! Magical!! Everything was unbelievable apart from the service in the restaurants (breakfast, lunch, dinner etc). This is obviously crucial and would play a big factor in us ever coming back. However everything else was remarkable!!!

three stays here and each time the hotel excels. fantastic pool, amazing breakfast and evening cocktails are in an ideal setting. sometimes the boiled eggs were undercooked but other that it is really hard to fault. will always want to return!

Dinner in Jardin de Lutz, with drinks before in the bar. Everything was first class very relaxing and very good service all round. English spoken by all staff. The food was very good indeed so much so that we returned 10 days later to experience it all once more. The surroundings and appointments are of the highest quality.

Worest hotel in estepona the security cant let you enter to drink in the bar or take pic of ur partner inside or do anything , they talk very ruud in the gate. Try another hotel to calm and stay or relax this hotel doesnt deserve a penny. Regards

Amazing place. Great food although was let down at breakfast by our second coffees not turning up. Gave up waiting after 20 minutes.

Finca Cortesin is more than just a round of golf it is an experience. From the moment we arrived the service received was excellent. The course is magnificent, no a blade of grass out of place, bunkers pristine and greens that are fast but fair. Thank you to everyone that helped make our trip to Finca Cortesin such a memorable one.

This place is incredible. Stunning location, elegant subtle yet super stylish. The team are gracious and hospitable the food was delicious. The singer Felipe Madrid sang while we ate lunch, very so talented. I usually find live music in restaurants a bit cringe but he was brilliant. Been to many beautiful places around the world and this is now in my top three. Blown away!

I had my birthday at Finca Cortesin Hotel and this was the best decision I have made. The hospitality the quality and the nature the gardens the decorations were over expectations. You will feel like queen and king the staff are so kind so professional they will make sure you get the best experience..

Finca Cortesin is probably one of the best hotels in the world. The venue is fantastic, it is like an old castle made a hotel. Rooms are immaculate. The service is extremely friendly and super professional. It is hard to find and flaws anywhere in the hotel. For my family is a dream destination. We've been coming to the hotel for years, it is great experience even out of season. I highly recommend Finca Cortesin!

AMAZING PLACE! We spent some days last December and it was our first holidays with our LO so this added some stress on how it would be and we would manage outside home with a baby. Every person in the hotel made us feel like home, the service, the quality of any details is outstanding. Special thanks to all the F&B team who took such a good care to my LO and prepared veggie creams in the evenings and porridge for Breakfast! Definitely as soon as we will get the chance, we will visit this place again!

Well, to keep it short, the location is great, the service is great, maybe a little bit too fancy, but the food is dubitable... The pizza is dry and completely ...common (in a bad way). I.E. the aubergine toppings of the pizza were poorly cooked, full of seeds, and untasty. We have sent these observations to the Chef, but no feedback... To be honest with you, a better pizza you may find at Pavarotti in San Luis de Sabinillas :)

Something has gone wrong. After years where Finca Cortesin was one of our favourite hotels in the world, our latest trip was a disappointment. Hotel had the same wonderful setup and the restaurants and bar were great, as always. But service levels were way down. Too many mistakes were made - one night, empty dishes were delivered to our table and the server seemed as confused by this as we were. And most importantly- FC has always been a place where you never heard "No". Somehow, their team would find a way to say "Yes" to almost anything you asked for. This time, we stopped asking, because we heard No so often. The staff is trying hard, but their management is letting them down. I hope it was a just a Covid blip for a hotel with a long history of being truly exceptional - this time it was merely good.

Been here many times over the years. It’s a great hotel with a good selection of restaurants and a great golf course. It’s not cheap, but that’s life!

Finca Cortesin is the most attractive hotel in Casares, you have many different kinds of activities to do. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
