Hotel
In
Decline
I
have
been
coming
to
the
Finca
Cortesin
hotel
since
it
opened.
A
beautiful
hotel
with
impeccable
customer
service.
Nothing
like
it
on
the
coast
until
a
steady
decline
starting
over
the
past
few
years…
I
called
up
six
times
last
week
to
come
to
the
spa.
The
phone
cut
off
six
times.
I
was
promised
a
manager
would
call
me
back,
no
one
did
so
I
had
to
phone
for
the
seventh
time.
Anyway,
I
came
along
to
the
spa.
The
spa
was
nice
but
the
girls
were
always
on
their
phones
and
had
to
ask
for
her
for
my
own
tea.
I
then
had
a
tea
and
cake
by
the
pool
and
the
waiter
short
changed
me
by
five
euros
and
did
not
give
me
a
bill.
Very
suspicious.
That
ruined
my
day.
Next,
I
called
up
the
day
after
to
let
a
manager
know.
The
phones
were
still
cutting
out
even
after
I
had
already
told
the
manger
days
before.
I
explained
what
had
happened
and
he
said
he
would
investigate
and
I
still
have
not
heard
back
from
him.
I
told
this
story
to
a
friend
who
stays
there
every
month
and
she
said
they
still
play
the
same
music
for
the
past
seven
years.
The
same
band
playing.
The
same
menus.
Not
even
any
vegan,
ketogenic
foods,
plant
based
meat,
or
alternatives
to
potatoes
such
as
sweet
potato.
Unfortunately,
this
hotel
has
become
complacent
even
though
there
are
many
boutique
hotels
opening
up
on
the
coast.
I
sincerely
hope
they
sort
it
out,
I
write
this
to
shake
them
up
so
it
can
return
to
its
former
glory.
I
telephoned
the
manager
again
after
he
promised
to
get
back
to
me.
Only
to
be
told
that
it
was
a
genuine
mistake
being
short
changed
and
he
spoke
to
the
girls
in
the
spa.
Clearly
defending
his
team
is
far
more
important
than
keeping
his
customers
happy.
Finally,
I
decided
to
speak
to
the
manager
first
before
considering
posting
this
complaint.
He
told
me
he
is
unaware
Google
Reviews
exist.
He
did
say
his
marketing
team
check
social
media
every
three
months.
That
clearly
demonstrates
they
are
not
on
the
ball
when
it
comes
to
customer
feedback
or
customer
service
and
as
you
can
see
not
one
review
has
been
thanked
or
answered.
