If Dr. John starting accepting human patients, I'd be the first in line. He is honest, objective, and more informative than anyone I've ever met. Absolutely wonderful practice.

I have taken my kitten Sooty to Summerlin AH since I adopted him. I own an A/C company and, as somone who provides services, and has won many awards for service, I am seldom as impressed as I have been with this Vet practice. From my first appointment, I was reminded in advance by both email and telephone. Our first appt. was a breeze, we were never made to wait, whisked into an exam room, asked pertinent questions and then seen by Dr. John. Dr. John was very thorough and has been the Dr. we see every time we go. I really like that consistancy. He remembers Sooty, is engaged and listens to my concerns, answers all my questions and has made me feel confidant that I've chosen the right place for my Kitten's surgery, healthcare and chip implantation. Not only is Dr. John a real gem, but the ladies in his office are so friendly, considerate, knowledgeable and organized. My 79 year old mom gets worse care at her General Practitioner and that's no joke. I see one review that said if Dr. John took human patients they'd be the first in line...i agree 100%. Additionally, the staff at Summerlin is top notch and in this current employment situation, post COVID, that says a lot about how they feel about working there. They give it their all and it shows. Sooty has now had all his kitten shots, neutering/declaw surgery(my mother is on blood thinners and has paper thin skin so this was not a choice but the only way I could have a cat in our home. So, please don't judge), chip etc. Not one experience has differed from what I have described above. The service, follow up, and care that Summerlin AH offers is top notch and unparalleled. They may not be the least expensive, but they are also not the most. If your budget allows you to pay for service and quality, and if your time is valuable, this is the Vet for you!

They take such great care of my two older mini Aussies! My smaller guy needed a dental and the final cost was actually LESS than the estimate's low end. They are honest and kind and really do have the animals best interests at heart. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my fur babies here.

My animals feel very safe and comfortable visiting this establishment. The veterinarians are very kind! I also like how they do checkouts- every patient stays in the exam room during checkout so there isn’t a line of people and animals at the counter waiting to pay for services. I appreciate that my animals do not necessarily have to mingle with other animals in the lobby.

We were in town for vacation and one of our dogs came down with a bad ear infection. They were able to fit us in on the same day and get our dog started on treatment immediately. Loved the staff and glad we didn’t have to wait another week to get our dog seen back home.

Dr. Erica is everything you’d hope for in a veterinarian. She is a straight shooter who is also compassionate, and remains in constant contact with her patients. She came highly recommended and lives up to the reputation. I highly recommend this practice.

Summerlin Animal Hospital is the absolute best!!! I just started taking my cat here, and the staff are nothing but amazing. I took my cat here a little over a week ago to get vaccinated. The visit was more than pleasant, and they followed up the next day to make sure my cat was alright after all of the vaccinations. They also called me on Friday to remind me of my Monday appointment. Absolutely amazing, and I am grateful that my cat is being cared for by this establishment. 11/10 review from me!!

First appointment here today, and I see why Summerlin Animal Hospital has such high ratings! The front desk staff as well as the techs and the doctor were so compassionate and nice. Glad to say they will be our go-to vet moving forward!

Amazing doctor and staff. Was so sweet with following up with my baby Elle. The Staff was kind enough to put me directly through to her exact doctor who gave me great directions. Not over priced. Super friendly! I'm an ex vet tech, and doctors and staff seem to be extremely knowledgeable and caring. Great to find a DVM who can give me up to date health technology and research and treated her as her own..

Always a great experience, whether annual exam visits or an unexpected situation; our Danes are always treated as though they are their own pets. We’ve been coming here for almost 14 years and never had an issue with these wonderful staff and docs- thanks for all you do for us (from front desk to surgery needs, you’re all terrific)!

My dog is always nervous when going into the Vet’s office, because he can smell everything. But with Dr. John and his assistant, he got to relax. And he let Dr. John check on him without trying to ‘fight’. I’m amazed. As a nervous dog mom, Dr. John patiently explained to me what could be potentially happening to my dog, I felt a bit relieved. I wish to continue work with Dr. John to make sure my baby is healthy going forward. Thanks

We are snowbirds from Michigan. When my elderly cat needed a vet I chose them based on their reviews. After routine bloodwork we were delivered devastating news that our cat had a terminal diagnosis. All options were presented to us but we choose to take him home until he got bad enough to euthanize. When that time came we were respectably directly taken into a room. Dr. Fry came in and explained in detail how the euthanizing process would go. She was wonderful not only to us but also our cat, Brewster. I can’t recommend them enough! Everyone was so kind and genuine. Thank you!

We took two foster pups here and the vet and staff made were extremely patient and kind. If my wife and I choose to have our dogs again we would definitely recommend this facility. The staff was great with two extremely skiddish and nervous foster dogs who haven’t had much human interaction in the past two years.

This Vet Office has taken Superb care of my baby for the last 14 1/2 yrs., being since she was 8 weeks old. Regrettably this day's visit was Baby's last. It was just her time to move on, & Dr. Eric & Staff made that transition as smooth as possibly could be. In all the life of my Baby, we've never been dissatisfied with Summerlin Animal Hospital, so you can't beat that for a track record. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was very competent and friendly. They are very protective of the safety needs for all their patients. The facility was clean and odor free. Parking is plentiful and safe. Dr. John handled my pup like he was one of his own and called promptly to discuss test results. I look forward to many yeas as a client of Summerlin Animal Hospital.

New to SWFL with my 2 dogs. So impressed with the office staff, Dr John, Dr Karen AND the care provided to not only my dogs, but the very warm welcome to us from all of the staff. Highly recommend. And they offer grooming! Always professional, caring and accommodating.

There's no other vet I'd trust to take care of my dog Cady. We've been with Dr. John for eight years for everything from routine care to medication management to emergency treatment, and I know that Dr. John always has my pet's best interest at heart. He is thorough, patient and gentle with my dog, and he does a great job of explaining treatment plans to the sometimes-emotional human element of the duo (me). When my dog's injury required specialized surgery, he explained what was necessary and why an orthopedist would provide the better course of treatment. I trusted his judgment and went with the specialist for the surgery, then returned to Dr. John for her (excellent) recovery care. Everyone at SAH is professional, compassionate and just plain NICE. A pleasure to visit this health care provider, very highly recommended. BTW, a great groomer on staff, Robin. A heartfelt thanks to all at SAH, and Cady sends her love.

Our regular vet was flooded from hurricane Ian, so was our home. Our cat has kidney disease and needs fluids weekly. I have been administering the fluids to her myself for months. All I needed was an IV drip line ! I have the prescription ! After ten minutes on hold and two phone calls, I was told they could not sell it to me ! I will certainly never go here for any other pet needs !

Comet has been a patient since he was a puppy. Now he’s 14. He’s received spectacular care. Even with a recent health crisis they went well above and beyond to ensure he had the best care available.

We've been with Dr. John for 17 years now and are so truly grateful for him and the entire staff at Summerlin Animal Hospital. Every single person there is so caring, kind, supportive, and accommodating. From routine care to emergency calls and the passing of one of our dogs, Dr. John, Dr. Karen, and staff have always gone above and beyond in caring for our animals, and making sure the humans are doing well too! We love Summerlin Animal Hospital and know you will as well.

The staff here are the BEST! They are all so so nice, from the ladies who answer the phone to the vets. And it’s a big plus that they offer grooming services for cats!

Have been going here for years to take care of my Peek-a-poo. Today I had my first appointment with their new veterinarian, Erica Fry, DVM. She was excellent and it was obvious that she enjoys her job! Dr. Erica discussed my aging dog and gave me numerous suggestions on how to keep her from falling down inside my condo. Who knew that they actually make rubber toe grips for dogs! She answered all my concerns. Will be requesting her for my future appointments!
