Captain
Jim
and
1st
mate
Andrew
were
awesome.
Both
were
very
helpful
and
were
genuinely
nice
people.
They
were
eager
to
share
their
knowledge
about
the
local
flora
and
fauna
and
even
went
out
of
their
way
to
give
us
dolphin
time.
Andrew
was
super
friendly.
He
made
sure
everyone
was
comfortable
and
hydrated.
He
even
interacted
with
our
three
kids,
making
them
feel
like
true
shell
hunters.
Jim
got
us
there
safely
and
from
time
to
time
he
would
point
out
specific
sights
to
see.
Now
for
the
nuts
and
bolts
part
of
the
review.
There
is
plenty
of
spacious
parking.
We
arrived
early
and
were
able
to
start
boarding
about
30
minutes
before
departure.
You
seat
yourself
wherever
you
would
like.
There
is
more
than
enough
room
on
this
boat.
We
brought
a
lot
of
stuff.
A
big
cooler,
toys,
2
bags
and
towels.
All
was
accommodated
with
no
problems.
They
is
a
roof
on
2/3's
of
the
boat,
so
finding
cover
or
sun
is
easy.
I
do
recommend
bring
a
long
sleeve
t-shirt
because
the
morning
commute
to
the
island
is
chilly
if
you
don't
like
cool
wind
from
riding
the
boat
through
morning
air.
I
was
fine
in
a
tank
top,
but
the
kiddos
got
a
little
chilly.
The
ride
is
about
45ish
minutes
long.
When
you
get
to
the
island,
they
let
you
out
on
the
gulf
side,
but
park
the
boat
on
the
other
side.
That
is
because
the
current
is
so
strong
on
the
gulf
side.
I
would
say,
unless
you
walk
further
down
the
beach,
it
is
nearly
impossible
to
swim.
It
is
even
difficult
to
walk
in
the
water.
That
is
how
strong
the
current
is
on
the
gulf
side.
It's
not
very
kid
friendly.
The
bay
side
or
the
eastern
side
of
the
island
is
very
family
friendly.
The
water
is
crystal
clear
and
there
isn't
a
current.
The
shell
hunting
is
pristine.
You
will
see
dolphins
and
fish
on
this
side.
I
recommend
walking
over
to
this
side.
It
is
definitely
worth
it.
As
for
the
beach,
it
is
beautiful.
The
only
issue
at
time
if
you're
too
close
to
the
woods
are
the
noseeums.
They
are
there,
so
heads
up.
Find
a
spot
with
a
slight
breeze
and
you'll
be
fine.
They
guides
will
walk
the
beach
making
sure
ppl
have
everything
they
need.
They
do
provide
a
limited
amount
of
drinks,
chairs,
and
umbrellas.
They
will
even
give
you
a
30
minute
warning
before
island
departure.
They
will
tell
you
where
to
go.
The
ride
back
is
when
they
go
looking
for
dolphins
and
they
will
find
them.
They
are
everywhere.
It
is
such
a
cool
and
relaxing
ride.
When
you
arrive,
if
it's
warm
enough,
there
is
a
possibility
to
see
manatees
in
the
marina.
We
saw
them,
but
don't
expect
it.
Lastly,
they
have
a
bathroom
at
the
marina
and
one
on
the
boat.
It
shouldn't
be
an
issue.
Please
tip
these
guys.
They
do
a
good
job
and
deserve
it.
Perfect
tour
to
Cayo
Costa.
Wish
it
was
an
hour
longer.
We
got
extremely
lucky
on
our
trip.
We
had
perfect
weather,
saw
15+
dolphins,
and
even
manatees.
Just
Perfect!
My
family
definitely
recommends
Adventures
in
Paradise.
