Põlva Peasant Museum (Talurahva Muuseum) an interesting place for all ages and very kid friendly as there's plenty of space for kids to explore and run around..... a small entry fee (3 euro) and a little place to grab a postcard, tourist info/brochures or ice-cream or a cold drink (but no cafe)....it's a lovely place to bring your own picnic lunch with you........Our favourite part of the museum is the original Windmill and the original school and teacher's cottage, it's so cute........think it's best to visit in Spring/Summer beware the pesky bees though.....Enjoy!

it is a nice place, but, would be better visiting during daytime, and not late evening/nighttime, lots of insects, mosquitoes flying around.

I really recommend this place! The atmosphere there was amazing. The place was huge and nature was beautiful. There were so many different houses to visit and cool little facts about the history of Estonia and how people lived. Also, we could get fresh spring water! Its good for kids, because lots of space and there was a maquette of Põlva that they loved.

A very charming place. I wanted to go because of the miniature Põlva, which was a bit overgrown, but otherwise cool to walk around and discover. Loved the family friendly attitude of the workers and the true-to-life rooms and installations. A perfect place for a small family outing, you could even have a picnic here.

Really authentic and layd back place. Had a really nice time with my family walking around and exploring. You can go in houses, touch some tools and feel as if you have traveled back in time.
