The Rock of Tondi is a magnificent monument that shows the history of Tallinn. The Rock of Tondi has been in existence since the prehistory. On the Rock you can clearly see drawings made by Estonian Neanderthals. The Rock of Tondi has always been a strategic point. It has been conquered and reconquered multiple times. The Rock of Tondi has always been the highest point of Tallinn until the creation of the Soviet steps of Tondi. I highly recommend a visit.

My expectations for the Rock of Tondi were quite high and it still surpassed all of them. The Rock of Tondi is so hard and gray it's almost unnatural, truly a one-in-a-million geological phenomenon. I quit my job and traveled to see the Rock of Tondi and was not disappointed. 10/10 would visit again.

I have only visited one tourist place outside of my homeland India and that is Estonia and boy was this rock the highlight of my trip. Words wouldn't do justice to the charisma and beauty of this legendary piece of Estonia's history. Rock of Tondi, you own my heart.

As a tourist from Australia, this was by far the highlight of my European trip. Crowds can be an issue so please plan your visit accordingly. As with the Mona Lisa, its actually a bit smaller in real life than expected, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in magnificence. Please do NOT be like some people we saw taking scrapings of this masterpiece - it needs to be preserved for generations to come!!

I was absolutely captivated during my visit a couple years ago to the magnificent Rock of Tondi. Despite the initial long queue, stretching for approximately two hours, the anticipation only heightened my excitement. The weather, with its cloudy and cold demeanor, seemed insignificant the moment my fingertips made contact with the surface of this extraordinary rock. A profound connection occurred as if my very electrons intertwined with the essence of the rock, permeating my being with a comforting warmth. In that instant, a profound sense of contentment enveloped me, leaving me with an indescribable satisfaction. Determined to enhance my experience further, I meticulously planned my return visit for a Monday morning, eager to savor every moment. This time, the wait was significantly reduced to a mere 30 minutes, which only added to the magic. It was an unparalleled experience, an extraordinary testament to the power of the Rock of Tondi. It became abundantly clear that true success lies in having the privilege to connect with this awe-inspiring wonder.

We took on a full scale pilgrimige just to experience the true gem of Estonia - The Tondi Rock. I am not a religious person myself, but this was truly something holy. Very scrumptious. 10/10 experience, felt like we were born again on that rock.

I was summoned hither by a suspiciously bald man. He proclaimed that babushkas once flocked from all across the globe to channel their collective wisdom to write the first edition of babushkas secrets using the rock as a table. Stroking the monolith with ardour, it radiated potency and worldwide amity which transcended the realms of my cognition. I wept as my dumbfounded soul attempted to contemplate just how smooth and enterprising this rock is. Best landmark in Tallinn. MOOMIN APPROVES! AU TONDI KIVILE!!!🇪🇪🇪🇪🇪🇪

The Rock of Tondi is beautiful and hard. It healed my herpes when I kissed it although the queue behind me was pretty shocked. I recommend coming 30 minutes before your visit since the queue is pretty long, but it's worth it! Admission was free. I could feel the power of the Rock flowing through my body while touching it. Please don't be stupid and take a piece of the Rock with you home, it might curse your home. I have tried.

It's rare that you can get so close to such an important piece of history. Standing there, majestic, ruling over the city as a reminder of the old glorious days. It even has an encryption in an ancient language long lost. If you visit Tallinn, this is absolutely a must.

Absolutely delightful. No idea how I've managed to live my whole life in this city without visiting the rock of Tondi before. Went around 7PM so didn't have to wait long, but still planned the visit a week before. 10/10

Some say that the school of rock is a film with Jack Black. The truth is that twenty minutes in Tondi will teach you more about rock than any school or any human could ever teach. Merely being in its presence you can feel a special connection between human and earth that I have never felt before. Some say that if you tap the top of the rock three times you will have good health and will endure, just like the rock has through many ages. Rock on tondi Rock on 🤙

Boy, this is a stone like no other. I‘ve seen them all for sure but never experienced this charisma. Just standing by it gives my life sense -just for 5 minutes but it‘s worth it every time. Btw: you can get pet stones of it in local souvenir shops. Some of them even with bluetooth.

To be honest, my expectations were not high despite all the positive reviews. But I couldn't have been more wrong. We spent hours here taking photos from different angles. This rock was brought here over 10 000 years ago during the ice age. Rumors say that one famous actor actually decided to become an actor after touching this special rock and out of respect to the Rock of Tondi, he wanted to be known as The Rock himself. The Rock of Tondi has also been featured in the movies such as Ice Age and Tenet. Since it's such an important landmark, there is a designated tram and train stop right next to it so people would have easy access to this blessing.

One of the relics of Stone Age, really well preserved. Gets wet when it rains, but dries surprisingly quickly. Dad used to take me here when I was younger to show what people would discuss before the advent of TV and radio. Life changing experience, can't recommend enough.

Did a day trip to this rock last summer with the wife and kids. I didn't expect much but my goodness were we in for a surprise. It was magnificent. Fun for kids for the whole day. Even the wife was super happy with this trip to this phenomenal piece of nature. Needless to say sex was guaranteed for almost a week after that. Looking to do another trip this summer.

My journey to Estonia was spurred by dreams of drinking, partying and staying out til sunrise. Simply put, I came with the intention of indignity and depravity. Fortunately, the Rock of Tondi was my first must-do activity and it saved me from this moral corruption. Instead my week was spent in divine bliss as I spent every minute I could with this spiritual effigy. The Rock of Tondi will not only save you from boredom in Tondi, it may well save you from yourself. Can't recommend enough.

Beautiful and awe inspiring, the Rock of Tondi needs no introduction. Although you might think that you have heard and read everything that there is to know about Estonia's greatest natural wonder, be prepared. Its grandeur is such that I found it quite unsettling. To find yourself gazing upon it is to consider your own mortality and even your place in the universe. Avoid Sunday late mornings as the queues can be several hours long. Toilet facilities were a little limited but bear in mind that it is an ancient site, not a shopping mall.

Rock of Tondi is an absolute masterpiece that exceeded all of our expectations. We were so captivated by the beauty and majesty of this rock that we sold everything we had in Sri Lanka just to make the journey to witness it for ourselves - and it was worth every penny. The intricate carvings and elaborate architecture are truly breathtaking, and we found ourselves completely absorbed in the history and culture of this incredible site. The surrounding landscape only added to the experience, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to fully appreciate the wonder of this sexy rock.

You may have rocks in your country, but not The rock of Tondi. This here is a treasure passed on by generations, this rock is the reason I will lay my life for Estonia, this rock is the reason I am still alive. The rock of Tondi, is probably one of the rocks.

Brilliant rock. Great experience seeing it, totally worth paying for an hourly ticket for the public transport. Very convenient location next to tram and bus stops. Even in the bad weather is a must-see in Tallinn. Highly recommended.

A visit to Tondi is obligatory for any visit in Tallinn. If you're lucky, you can take one of the old Tatra trams here :)

What can I say? It was a unique and stunning experience to behold the Rock. Just one of those truly special places on Earth. I hope the current construction work doesn't affect this landmark.
