I first tried their food from their food truck in 2020 and was hooked. I always stopped in to grab some pies whenever I was in Tallinn. So I of course had to go to their cafe when it opened! It's delicious as ever. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other food (I'm seriously addicted to the pies though). The owner (and staff!) is exceptionally friendly and everyone I saw eating here seemed thrilled with the quality. One of my favorite places to eat in Tallinn and a place I hope to come to for many years! Definitely a must try.

We came twice for the excellent irish oysters, super sweet and fresh. Paul even taught us how to shuck oysters.

Lively atmosphere of a living room rather than a restaurant or a cafe. Great quality of food and drink! And very approachable meal prices for the excellent quality and service offered. A definite must to visit on your Balti jaam shopping day! Meat pies are the happy meal in this place 🤤

South African café with lots of yummy treats to choose from. Coffee, pies, tarts, meaty meals and wines. The owner is very warm and entertaining. The café is cosy and decorated tastefully. As a South African, I highly recommend it:)

Café Cape Town is a lovely place. The smell of the food drew us in, and we were pleasantly surprised. We ate South African hot dogs and they were amazing. Followed up by a G&T and a cold draught made our night. The service was incredible and we felt like we were visiting friends in their living room. I'll be back, no doubt. Five stars😊👌

Great coffee and delicious pastries in a warm atmosphere. We got chatting to some locals (of sorts) and picked their brains on Tallinn life. Highly recommend going here!

An absolute treat - Paul is a wonderful host with a style that is simply unique. A very special place for its simple and excellent food - The meat pies and the pea soup are worth travelling across town for, and so is the coffee. Everything is done in a way that relaxes and recharges in a smooth and understated way. It has only been open for four months, but I suspect that once locals start to appreciate Paul's place, they will be queuing up for the pies and pea soup to keep warm in the winter. Cafe Cape Town is like the city it is named after, a marvel and a thing of beauty!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting "Cafe Cape Town" in Tallinn, Estonia, and I was blown away by the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. We are originally from South Africa and it was such a refreshing feeling to stumble accross a South African shop in a foreign country! From the moment we walked in, Paul, the owner, greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. We had oysters and Champaigne which were absolutely amazing and fresh. Not only was the food delicious, but Paul also took the time to give us some valuable insight about the town and recommend some interesting places to eat and visit. It was clear that he was passionate about the community and wanted us to have the best possible experience during our stay. The cafe itself was clean and well-maintained, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Paul friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend Cafe Cape Town to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're looking for a quick bite to eat or a relaxing place to sit and chat with friends, this cafe has something for everyone. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience the warm hospitality and delicious food at this hidden gem!

We loved this place. Lovely and warm with a friendly owner. The pies were delicious (the lamb curry was particularly good). We also enjoyed the moka pot coffee.

This place is absolutely amazing! A little of South Africa captured in Estonia, Tallinn. The food is wonderful, the drinks a piece of South African goodness but the best part would be Paul. His sparkling personality makes you feel at home, he is an intriguing and friendly person and has an absolute passion for life. You can truly find the passion Paul has in his food. Never tough I would travel from SA to Estonia to experience this. Absolutely one of the best moments I had in Tallin. Thanks for making my trip Paul.

Fabulous coffee and delicious, tasty beef pie to remember! A cosy café where to relax and have a bite while listening to the good music selection they play. We were outstandingly attended by a very friendly, knowledgeable man who shows a great appreciation to their customers. A very good reason to return to Tallinn.

Didn’t think I’d find authentic milk tart in Tallinn but this gem didn’t disappoint! Great to sit and chat with the regulars (people and dogs)! Great spot!

I love finding places like this. We kinda got lost and stumbled across this in an indoor market. The seafood soup was excellent, fresh ingredients, flavoursome and with a bit of a spicy kick to it. We also tried the field mushroom pie which the owner hand makes himself and it’s the best pie I’ve had in ages in any country. Chef/owner was extremely friendly and great to talk to.

Paul Seniosi's Bobotie (filled South African) pies are well- known, and so I had to come by eventually. I had a pie with beef cooked in red wine. The place is small with tasteful design, pie was tasty. Next time I will go for the vegetarian choice and try the one with feta. They also have oysters and champagne, for those who drink alcohol and like seafood. :)

The food is delicious and the good quality products are carefully chosen by the owner of the place! I recommend everything! Also, the service is super nice and if you’re lucky and open to it you can also have a very nice talk with the owner and the staff. Super nice place!

Awesome little find in Tallinn, a hidden gem. The place is a one man show ran by a lovely man. Oysters and Champagne were superb and the pie was top quality. Can not recommend any more highly

I can only recommend visiting Cafe Cape Town, Paul has built a welcoming and homely environment where he takes the time to appreciate every customer that arrives. The chicken curry pie was the best flavoured curry I have had since being in Europe, so much flavour and can only make you miss Cape Town! Looking forward to coming to visit in December again.

Being Italian, I was drawn to the beautiful bright red Bialetti that was placed on the small table outside. The owner of the café noticed that I was looking around and approached me. I told him I was just looking for a coffee and he invited me in. The atmosphere is so cosy in the little Cape Town, you feel at home and the coffee mixed with Irish cream tasted so great - although I was bit sceptical about the cream since I thought it would kill the original Bialetti's taste; but it didn not! The owner is one of the nicest men I have ever met! Unique experience, I would recommend it to anyone!

Melting pot Cafe. Paul from south Africa is such a friendly nice guy. His coffee (Mokka) is delicious. We talked a lot and had a very good time in his small cafe. If you are in Tallinn (near Balti Jaam) a coffee in this place is a must!

My husband and I found Cafe Cape Town while wondering through the food market in the surrounding area. We stopped by and had traditional South African bobotie pie (with some chutney) and simonsig bubbles. Absolutely divine! I highly recommend! The owner is so friendly and welcoming, a true South African! The atmosphere was delightful, and he was very helpful in offering travel advice in and around Tallinn. It was a small piece of paradise and a comforting reminder of home whilst on our travels. I highly recommend a visit, and wish the owner all the success for the future.

This is the place to go if you are looking for something different! We tried the pies, which were fresh and full of flavour! A variety of drinks is offered including wines from South Africa! The owner is passionate about his homeland and takes pride in his work! A rare gem in the market!
