I visited this beach during my trip through the Baltic countries. Unfortunately, it was already evening when I arrived at the beach of lake Peipus. Still the impression was great. What a lake! It looks like an ocean! The beach has fine, yellow sand and colourful pebbles and stones. Behind the beach there is a steep dune, stairs lead down to the beach. The water was fresh but I'm sure it's nice for swimming on a hot summer day.

Knee-deep water for at least 50meters so great fun for kids. Parking options are severely limited as you can no longer park on the side of the road, so prepare some time for finding a parking spot. Water closets available in the nearby hub but they're far from clean. Sidenote - in 2018, hundreds of dead fish ended up washed ashore for unknown reasons. Haven't noticed any in 2019.

So beautiful, looks like an ocean but it is a big Lake! I love it! I had a great time with my friends there!
