    DO NOT RENT HERE-HUGE FRAUD WITH TONS OF HIDDEN COSTS. WORST CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. They yelled at me for taking photos and told they would not us a car if we posted pictures on google maps; then wanted proof looking at my phone that the photos were erased and shamed me for having my pants open while I’m pregnant and in pain. You think it’s cheap? Think again! Absolute mess of an experience. Very difficult to locate where pick-up is. They did not bother to call us and gave us terrible instructions when we called them. Arrived at 8:45am at airport for 9am car pickup and at 10:30am still in the “shuttle” to get to their agency which seems to be miles from the airport. Their agency then turned out to be a series of containers with small desks in them—TOTAL NIGHTMARE. Luggage left on ground in pebbles, and still more of a wait for a car. Another 40 minutes later, OVER 200 EUROS added for tolls and daily insurance since we don’t have credit cards (which do not exist in France). Then the insults, the injuries, and we decided to get OUT.

    I arrived at the airport about 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up time. After calling the rental company, the shuttle bus arrived after a very short time. Until then, very friendly service. Unfortunately, this was not the case at the rental station: I had to wait here for about 15 minutes, and there was a reason for this. There were abstruse explanations about the deposit regarding the motorway tolls. All this in order to sell their own insurance. Mind you, I already had a complete comprehensive insurance through the Enjoy Travel agency, which was refunded after advance payment. But now there was talk of a share of EURO 100,- for possible penalties for unauthorised use of the motorway, which would remain blocked on the credit card for up to 10 days after return. Unfortunately, this was not described in detail in the deposit conditions and a lengthy discussion ensued. In the end, this amount was already included in the total deposit and therefore not an issue for me. But not so for the lady at the counter of the rental company . Because this was the entry point to sell their own insurance. They also threatened with towing costs of usually EURO 300,- which would not be reimbursed by Enjoy Travel in case of damage. By the way, I had to enter all the data into the employee's smartphone. This took time, was not in line with Covid19 measures and was extremely questionable in terms of data protection. Furthermore, my identity card and driving licence were photographed without being asked, as the smartphone app of the rental company apparently did not offer the possibility to enter the data manually. All in all, this was absolutely unprofessional, amateurish and negligent. This was followed by a meticulous inspection of the vehicle with a record of the smallest scratches (23). It was advised to have another look and to take photos in order to prove upon return that any damage that had not been recorded had already existed on the vehicle! The car was freshly washed but had an intrusive smell that gave me a headache. One wonders what must have happened in the car or what kind of stench must have been created there (by what) if one resorts to such penetrating scents. Especially as the car was relatively new (18000 km). Unfortunately, the windscreen was dirty and greasy from the inside, which was very annoying when the windscreen fogged up in the rain and at night. At least the wiper reservoir was not empty. In the end, it took about 75 minutes to pick up the car after calling the airport! Thankfully, the return was relatively quick and, contrary to my fears, no damage that I had overlooked on handover was searched for or found.

    TLDR: Tons of hidden costs and they nitpick you on the post-rental inspection if you don’t buy the supplemental insurance. Details: After waiting nearly 2 hours in the rental car facility, we finally sat down with a representative who began his “pitch” for supplemental insurance. Despite what felt like very heavy handed tactics, and much to the chagrin of the rep, I declined the supplemental insurance. When we finally got our car, it was riddled with damage and had a funny smell. I had a very strange feeling about this place so I took very thorough “before” pictures and pestered the rep to insurance every scratch was listed on the pre rental inspection. While doing so, the rep got frustrated and ultimately walked away while I continued to get pictures. This turned out to be a very important step. Upon return, I waited nearly 30 minutes for a rep to conduct the post rental inspection (he was bogged down pestering another customer about a VERY minor door ding). Fortunately, the shuttle arrived at the same time our inspection started. We loaded our bags right away while the rep began his inspection. Although he tried his best, he was unable to clearly identify any new damage to the vehicle. I’m confident he would have continued to drag out the inspection but, since he was holding up a completely full shuttle, he scampered (in defeat) to release the hold on my credit card and I was finally off the hook. I will be avoiding Klass Wagen at all costs going forward and will avoid off airport rentals generally. I will continue to decline the supplemental insurance. I’ll include a few pics of the car because it’s funny how damaged it was when we picked it up.

    Avoid using this company at all costs. They appear cheap but will try every possible way to squeeze or cheat money out of you. The insurance costs more than the rental itself and if you choose not to take it they will charge over 300 euros for a stone chip it seems they. They tricked me into signing to agree to the damage which is supposed to be over 30mm, which it was not, by not showing me the full document I was signing for. I emailed them twice after the they detailed the damage to say that I wdo not agree with the charges and got no reply and they proceeded to charge my credit card without even replying to my concerns. The worst car hire I've ever seen. Please the pictures to see if you can spot the damage. Klass Wagen please do not reply to me to apologise unless you are going to refund the charges

    If I could rate this company 1 star I would! We waited half a day of our holiday to be served in the reception area alongside hundreds of other dissatisfied customers to finally be seen. When we were seen they tried to scam us out of £2,600 for damages which were not ours. We asked to see the manager who was exceptionally rude and discriminated against me for being pregnant and asked me to move when I was unable. We ended up going back to Lisbon airport and using a reputable company airport after avoiding this near miss. Please stay away from this company they are scoundrels.

    We have made a reservation on this company but when we arrived they charge extra 200€ for an insurance we didn’t need , they said it’s cause of the credit card but I’m used to rend car and it’s the first time it’s happens… On the check out, we have a flights at terminal 2 but the driver is not allowed to drive to terminal 2. So we have to take all the transport with all the luggage’s. Don’t go there !

    I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Klass Wagen Car Rental, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I made an online payment to rent a car from this company, but upon arriving at their location, nothing was ready for us. It was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First and foremost, the waiting time was simply unacceptable. After arriving at the rental office, my party and I were forced to wait for over an hour and a half before any progress was made. This delay was completely unexpected and extremely inconvenient, especially considering we had planned our schedule around the rental agreement. To add insult to injury, the staff then informed us that we would have to wait an additional 30 minutes for the car to be washed. This was an outrageous request, as the car should have been cleaned and prepared beforehand. It was baffling to see that such a basic and necessary step in the rental process was overlooked entirely. The lack of organization and preparedness displayed by Klass Wagen Car Rental was utterly frustrating. It is clear that they did not value our time or prioritize customer satisfaction. It is deeply disappointing when a company fails to fulfill its promises and leaves customers feeling neglected and inconvenienced. I strongly advise against renting a car from Klass Wagen Car Rental. Their unprofessionalism, extensive waiting times, and lack of preparation are indicative of their overall poor service. Save yourself the headache and opt for a more reputable and reliable car rental company that values its customers' time and satisfaction.

    Great service and great quality cars. You get picked up from the airport and then taken to their warehouse, where all the cars will be waiting. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will quickly go through your travel itinerary with you. They persuaded us to take the full option Portuguese insurance, which means you can return the car with bumps and scraps and uncleaned and they will just ask you to sign. No quibbles or issues. If you don't take the full option, expect them to go over your car with a fine tooth comb and charge you for any issue. If you took out insurance through a different broker before hand you will have to pay and claim back, but only if you have proof from a police report. So if you want complete peace of mind go for the full insurance option, but keep in mind it might be the same price as what you paid to rent the car. All and all we had a good but pricey experience from them.

    Shuttle takes you directly from airport with white van. The experience taking the car was great and everything went smoothly and quickly. Once we returned the car process was fast under few minutes. Also they explained how toll system works and it will subtract from 100eu deposit. Shuttle to the airport was great in good order with first come first served basis. Even when crowd got bigger the second van came which was great. Van driver very polite and offered to put heavy luggage for all customers to the boot which is the admirable. Pleasant experience and no issues. I will be using this company again!

    Great quality cars, very clean and all the extras needed to travel worry free. We had a 2019 (2 years old) Jeep Renegade with all the toys. It was great for the long distance travelling we did. The travel from and to the airport was in a nice new VW Transporter Shuttle bus. Everyone is friendly and does their best to ensure you're happy with your rental. Prices are very competitive especially with your TAP airline tickets.

    Worst car rental company ever! Never try this company! It doesn’t worth it! We lost our car seat in baggage at Lisbon Airport. After 2 hours of waiting for the car seat that never arrived, the car rental company staff were so mean. They didn’t let us into the shuttle to the car rental because our 9-months baby didn’t have a car seat. We waited for another half an hour for the third driver to let us in the shuttle without the car seat! It was just a 15-minutes drive to the airport! Arriving the car rental facility, they tried to sell us their insurance for another half an hour even if we weren’t interested. They rented us a car seat without any explanation and they told us the reason why they don’t explain us the car seat installation is that they don’t accept the responsibility of installation. At last, our car seat was found and delivered to us twi days later in Lisbon. When we went to the car rental to return their cheap car seat, they didn't even reimburse us for the remaining days! I don’t recommend this rental company at all!

    The car was in great conditions, cleaned and fully serviced. The staff was very professional and friendly. Location is really closed to the airport, and shuttle times were minimal. Aurilene was very helpful and reassured us all times. We recommend it to anyone who’s looking forward to a fast, professional and straightforward service.

    Every time I go back to Portugal, I rent a car from them. I love how friendly and attentive the staff is. All the cars are brand new and perfectly clean. It's a reasonable price and you don't feel scammed. There's only one "but": the office is far from the airport, but they'll arrange a transfer.

    We had the pleasure of using this car rental service, and we were absolutely delighted with the experience. Right from the start, everything went smoothly and professionally. Even when we unfortunately lost the key, the team demonstrated outstanding customer service. Losing the key could have been a hassle, but the car rental staff made it a seamless process. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, and they acted swiftly to resolve the situation. In no time, we were provided with a replacement vehicle. Of course, a fee of 250 euros for the key loss was fair and clearly communicated. The overall experience with this car rental company was highly positive. Clearly, the company values customer satisfaction and service quality. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to assist. We wholeheartedly recommend this car rental service. If you are looking for a reliable and professional company that offers excellent customer support, you have come to the right place. We will definitely rent from here again when we are in the area.     Nice people and good service, it took a while to take the car but the girl was nice and explained everything in detail. It takes 15 minutes by car from and to the airport, they have shuttles to go there. Be aware that they charge around 100 euros for highway tolls and they will refund it at least three weeks later. I didn’t know and I’m pretty sure that this information wasn’t in the booking list of information but just to know. Said that I would totally recommend it because we were super happy with the rent and everything went good

    I'm reading lots of bad reviews but I had a great experience this weekend, for the second time. Here's what you need to know: 1. They are located almost 15 min away by car from the AIRPORT and you can use their transport (there's some waiting time yes) or go by Uber or cab (maybe $4) 2. You need a credit card for the 100eur toll security deposit.. debit won't work After a few weeks, they discount the tolls from your deposit and send you your money back on your card 3. You should just rent it with full insurance if u don't want to have a bad time... I read most car rentals in Lisbon can be picky on return if you don't use their insurance, and it seems this one is no exception Anyway. I got the car in 10 minutes, return took 3 min. Great service, attention and the car was fine too.
