Upon arrival, the hotel exudes charm, character and the elegance of a 5 star portuguese hotel. The building has been magnificently restored with care and attention to detail. The on-site amenities are excellent, from their laid back bar, cosy restaurant and stunning rooftop pool area. However, as it's a new hotel there are clearly still some teething issues, and it pains me to rate it three stars, but it's just not up to standard in really basic areas. During our stay we complained about the water temperature in the bathroom, one moment the shower is scalding hot, then freezing cold. We were offered a change of room, but it meant changing each night for 5 nights. Which given we would have limited access to the room, we politely declined. The manger did check-in on us every so often. But little else was done other than an apology. When you arrive you are welcomed with a drink and some nibbles, and even just that again would have really made us feel like they cared. What annoyed us most on check-out, we saw other guests were also complaining about the exact same issues. The showers are unbelievably slippery, the design of the shower is quite possibly the worst I've seen and a serious health and saftey concern. The floor gets soaking when you shower with poor drainage, and as the toilet is actually in the shower, every time you need to use it you end up with wet feet. Unless you clean the shower completely each time after you use it. It's not hard to add grooving into to the marble, or even some kind of rough surface. Breakfast was the best part. Diogo (hope that's spelt correctly) is the best host we've ever had. Nothing was too much for him, remembered every guests morning coffees and their preferences, a total rock star of f&b. The pool area was amazing in the afternoons, often deserted even though small, if you arrive at 1pm you have it to yourself. The honesty fridge a great idea too. Until the issues with the water are fixed, which why a plumber couldn't attend whilst we were there just shows the laid back attitude, and if they did, why weren't we updated. A shame, a real shame, this hotel has the potential to be one of the best in the Lisbon area.

What a wonderful stay we had while in Cascais. This hotel is simply beautiful, from the location to the decoration to rooms. Nothing was missing. The service was excellent. Diogo went above and beyond to help us. Rita, Carolina and Leonor made sure that our every request was promptly taken care of. Did I mention the beautiful surroundings and the close proximity to many shops and restaurants. Artsy has it all!! I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay there.

Truly fantastic new hotel in Cascais. Rooms are beautifully decorated and ours overlooked the small adjacent park. Breakfast was outstanding and Iā€™m sure better than any we could have gotten at restaurants nearby. Staff and manager were top notch and hands on to make sure our experience was perfect. Location is great, too - close to the town center but tucked off on a quiet street.

Everything about this hotel is absolutely top class. The service first of all is great, welcoming and professional. They make the stay individual and unique, and to my opinion went beyond expectations. Secondly, the restaurant is great, warm and welcoming as well. Big plus to the bartender who was fantastic. So a would recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a fantastic experience! Very well located we slept in the art rooms. Its an unique experience to sleep inside a sculpture. The quality is great (from the beds to the furniture and quality of the products). The restaurants was also great discovery and the rooftop is unique. We will return to stay in the palace, to live the fantastic history that the it has. Definitely the place to stay in Cascais!

Super service with attention to detail. The Artsy is perfectly located in Cascais. A beautifully designed modern interior blended so very well with the Classic architecture of the building. Highly recommended. Iā€™ll be back!

We had dinner in the Art restaurant. We sat at the bar which gave us a privileged view of the kitchen which was a very organised and precise operation. Everything, from the bread and butter, is home made and the quality of the produce is really fantastic. The people here clearly all feel passionately about what theyā€™re doing and that shines through in their wonderful food. We highly recommend it and we shall be back.
