Clean rooms. Room facility would need refurbished. Kitchen is not really needed, but if there is it should be equipped much much better. Not even the cutlery was enough. Minibar was empty. There was only one bathrobe. So we had to ask for more. Not a big point, but the room was not prepared properly. Indoor pool, sauna, steam is nice, but the some water sprinkle was not working and the steam and the Sauna might need a renovation. It is a bit weird that if you want to go to the welness area, you have to walk through the lobby and the restaurant. Service is okay. Location is a bit far from the city center, but if you do golf it is perfect.

Amazing double floor room Nice spa and pool areas Great food Outstanding service Very centrally located (quiet, but much in 15 min car distance) High standard but cozy, not overly chic just very well made

It's located a bit far from the center but it doesn't matter when the hotel is so amazing! Big rooms with amazing view, indoor pool (water a bit cold) and outdoor pool, spa, Turkish bath. Can't complain

Really nice hotel and staff. Indoor pool water was uncomfortably cold - a new policy for the entire Pestana group! Most people choose this hotel for the indoor pool, specially in cold and rainy days… Saving energy at the expense of customer’s comfort is a really bad policy. Will be sure to book a non-Pestana hotel next time

A nice Moorish styled hotel - the bathroom is bit dated but the room is still neat and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pestana Hotel Golf Resort in Sintra for a work trip, and it was an exceptional experience. The accommodation was fantastic, with spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options, catering to different preferences. The staff members were attentive and professional, always ready to assist. The resort's location in Sintra was breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. I highly recommend this resort for a work trip or leisure stay.

Great location close to the Estoril circuit. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast very good. We spent there 3 days. Recommended.

An oasis outside Lisbon, and between Sintra and Cascais. You couldn't have a better location. The hotel is clean and the service is very good. We really enjoyed the outside swimming pool area and to have a few drinks when the sun was out. Can't fault anything as staff treat us well.

About two weeks ago we spend 5 days at Pestana Sintra Golf. Overall its a very nice hotel with large rooms. Beds are good. And the staff is very polite! There are a couple of things I would like to share with you. First the mini bars are not working, so if you would like to have a cool drink from the mini bar, this drink won't be cooled. We went to reception and ask if there was something wrong with the mini bars, and they explained to us that the mini bars don't cool but maintain the room temperature. The second point, this hotel uses an American billing system where they automatically add 10% service cost at your restaurant or bar bill. In Europe this is not custom and very unfriendly. If I want to tip the service is this because I want to do this, not because a billing system automatically does this for me. The last point is the buffet dinner. They charge 33 euro per person for this buffet without the drinks. The diversity of food is poor, the quality of the food is poor. After this dinner I complained about the quality of the food ( to cold, overcooked etc.) at the reception. The next morning the hotel manager spoke to me and told me sorry. No free drink or something to compensate our bad experience. On the other side the breakfast is great plenty of choice the use a lot of fresh products. My advice for Dinner take an Uber find a local restaurant in Sintra and you will eat for half the price and the quality is ten times better!!!

We had the pleasure to stay here for a week with family, we had an amazing time. Good location, very quiet and relaxing area close to beaches and other small villages, 30 mins by car from Lisbon. Rooms were very big and tidy, breakfast was OK, service was 5*, very kind and helpful personnel. Good value for money, I would definitely recommend.

Good hotel, confortable accommodation, the breakfast is good, Due actual energetic crisis the inner pool isn't warm, sauna work good, steam not that strong. The service is great. Is well located, peaceful, very good to rest.

The rooms in this hotel need to be updated. The furniture and flooring is old and worn and everything smells damp including the beds. The hot food at breakfast was cold. The hotel is in the middle of a housing/industrial estate with nothing within walking distance. The staff were helpful and nice.

I stayed there in the hotel and played golf. Course was in a good condition and there was easy to play. Grass was already old (grey), but fairways surface was good. Greens were really good. No need for buggy. Course is only 100 m from the hotel. Hotel breakfast was good. Evening buffet was simple and too expensive (30 €). Spa was already old and not good. This place is very suitable for elder people.

Was a very nice experience. Staff was very friendly. Noticed they were very passionate about soccer lol. Breakfast can be a little more variable , if you're there for a week it's going to be to much of the same. There can be more promotion/information of things to do in the area. But all around we had a pleasant stay.

I left my raincoat in the closet of my hotel room on 10/20. I called the next day (10/21) and the staff politely told me that the cleaning crew is off duty and only the cleaning crew can check the lost and found. The main reason for the 1-star review is the poor lost-and-found management. I am still waiting to hear back from the hotel and I’m hoping for good news.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pestana Golf Resort in Sintra. It was a wonderful experience with very helpful and friendly staff. The room was great and the location is nice and central to a lot of attractions. Would definitely recommend!

Nice Golf Hotel. The Hotel facility, the Spa and area is nice. Unfortunately a renovation is needed to keep it nice. From my point of view the hotel is not in the best age. Some pictures attached.

Great Venue, perfect for if you want to split between relaxing and visiting Sintra. While not as well equipped as other hotels the rooms are clean and spacious. Great WiFi and with Sintra and Cascais 30m away by cab you cab see quite a bit from 1 location

Terrible!!!! AC barely works in the rooms and the beds, in addition to being of very poor quality, have plastic-lined mattresses. Lasted no more than 30 min in Pestana Sintra, explained the situation to the front desk but they refused to refund my reservation.

All around a nice experience. Good staff. Rooms in need of better care.

Comfortable, relaxing, 4 star resort, in pristine rural location; with easy access to the lively town of Cascais that has a wonderful and varied range of restaurants. Within scenic town of Sintra (bus tour of historic places available). Under an hour comfortable and dependable train ride to Lisboa. A choice of 2 train lines, one via Caccais (recomended as it's via the coast, and taxis available at train station until late in the nights); the other via Sintra, which travels more inland.

Dated design but rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. The indoor pool is of a good size although the outdoor one is quite small especially if you want to swim lengths. Breakfast wasn’t bad but also wasn’t fantastic. Overall a nice hotel and had a pleasant stay

Good: Breakfast Morning reception employees and housekeeping friendly and helping. Indoor pool temperature very good. Good sauna and steam room. The hotel is outdated. Need cleaner rooms mattress need to be more comfortable. Indoor pool has lots of jacuzzi spots not working. When booking family room I expect a bed for my children and not an old uncomfortable sofa bed. The person that that was at the reception when we check in around 10 pm was unwelcoming, rude. I almost left because of him. Paying almost €200 a night it should be better.

I loved the view over the pool and the golf course (which really just looked like a pretty park/hill). Breakfast on the weekend was really good, during week days it was ok but apparently their cook on week days wasn’t as good as the one during weekends. The options during weekend days were considerably more divers too. The bed could have been more comfortable though and personally would have preferred a shower cabin over a bath but apparently they only have bathrooms with baths. I had a vegetarian lasagna during my stay which I thought was very nice. Didn’t take a better photo but I quite liked the view, so maybe you can see some of it through my notebook 🙈

Hotel is located in a lovely location the grounds are appealing ,with staff are usually okay and accommodating within their means, however there are basic things which are overlooked ! Some staff can be somewhat rude maybe it’s their way but not to the receiving end. Not being to any hotel in the world who does not give basic teas & coffee supplies in the rooms , they charge for milk if we take it up to the room . Not sure if any house keeping us done ! We got our used towels o and hanged as if they think we don’t notice these things, our used cups were not removed from the room at all, not sure what they are cleaning , the funny thing is previous people before us left their under garments handing outside on the balcony haha still hanging . Breakfast very average cold when it suppose to be hot ! Warm if it is suppose to be cold guess what they charged for basic omelettes. Basically will not be coming to this place again. It’s an expensive hotel for what we are paying

Old fashioned style Hotel, very comfortable, rooms are stunning cozy, perfect to relax and spend some invigorating days, full of peace and surrounded by nature. Staff super professional, speaks english pretty well and all the building and the room itself are flawlessly clean. I'd recommend it for everybody doubtless!

Unfortunately this golf course suffers a lot from being very, very dry, and not very maintained. The cost of 70 euros is to high if you compare to other nearby like Penha Longa or Oitaivios- I think. But we will come back in winter, its a very easy course.

Went to partake in a corporate team building day. Buffet style lunch was very good and the facilities were what one would expect from the upmarket Quinta da Beloura estate in Sintra. Did not see any rooms.

The hotel is good and clean. The rooms has an old design, the carpets out side need some maintenance. Breakfast is not bad but not good either. The gym is not well equipped. All in all it is not bad but could easily be better.

Great hotel location. Close to Sintra's center. Definitely a great choice for families with children. Two pools and a large comfortable dinning hall. The room accommodation leaves a lot to wish for. It's outdated and the mattresses are not comfortable. It's is surely not a 4 star as advertised. Price was moderate for us Americans. By portuguese standards, I could have paid less for a hotel downtown in Lisbon (a 5 star one)

Impeccable staff, nicely designed hotel (except for a bit outdated interior / rooms, but definitely with its own charm). Having 2-level rooms is also an interesting feature. Loved the balconies and the view. Breakfast was pretty good, definitely better than in other places. Indoor pool is strangely designed, they could have maximized the space. Sauna and turkish bath are nice touches. Strangely, they don't have hair shampoo and conditioner (shower gel is a shampoo), but do have nice robes and slippers. I thought the property would be located on the hill for some reason, but it's right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Good location to go to Sintra, explore park and palace, as well as walk around Cascais and enjoy good seafood there. There is also a bowling alley nearby.

Great staff friendly and helpful had a 5 night stay playing golf the course was fantastic. really good facilities indoor pool was great as was the gym and sauna. bit of an isolated location but was to be expected being in a gated community. Nice quiet area but there is a lidl 5mins walk . would highly recommend. I have seen some reviews saying the hotel is a bit dated but I found it fine just not a modernist decor. usb sockets would be a great low cost upgrade. I will be booking again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We are here currently and it is shocking to say the least. There is no wifi it has been down for 24 hours and they cannot seem to fix it. The rooms are terrible and dirty with the most uncomfortable sleeper couch. Staff at the front desk have no idea what to do and there is no manager in site. Been waiting a whole day to speak with a manager. As someone who reviews hotels for various groups, I am bitterly disappointed. It is more like a 2 star. Save your money and stay elsewhere or in an air bnb. Most disappointing stay I have had in cascais ever

Great people! The entire staff was amazing and professional but especially Quinton and Marco! They made us feel very welcome and made great conversation despite our lack of language. We felt like part of the Sintra family during our stay. This is a great place for events either professional or casual and it isn’t posh like the spot up the road for tourism!!!!! Oh the golf is really good especially if you want challenging and changing course conditions. Obrigado Pestana!!!!!

A great place to stay while traveling in Portugal and looking to spend some time outside of Lisbon and Sintra. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and has lots to offer for its guests. Including outdoor and indoor pools, SPA, saunas, a small gym, great customer service, delicious breakfast, and a bar! I would suggest having a rental car while staying in the area for easy access to the nearby towns and bigger cities.

The hotel was worth for money. Situated near to Sintra. We had an amazing experience. The staff and facilities are really good. The pool with a Jacuzzi and Turkish bath were really cool
