So far one of the best meals I've had in Portugal. I had the arroz de tamboril and my husband had the polvo a lagareiro. Both meals were recommended by the waiter and were excellent including the seafood pate appetizer and my delicious dessert arroz doce (rice pudding). The waiters are very professional and extremely attentive. I would 💯 recommend this restaurant!

One of my all time favorites. This place holds a lot of nostalgia for me as I have been coming here since I was a teenager. They used to be open until much later and it was *the* place to get a great late night meal to soak up the booze. They close earlier now, but that is pretty much all that has changed. The food continues to be excellent and they still have a menu with old classics that can be hard to find elsewhere. They have a great outside dining area and a proper dining room, but my favorite is always the bar area on the left side of the restaurant which is much less formal and more geared towards a quick meal. The staff are, without exception, friendly, helpful and absolutely professional. It's a great place and their "bife a Jackpot" is always worth a shot. Great fries too! ❤️

We love this place. A short walk from the lovely Palacio hotel, it has excellent typical Portuguese fare. The staff are friendly and hugely attentive. We've eaten here several times, enjoying the 'quejo fresco' before tucking into a 'bitoke'. Lovely local wines, informal and family friendly. We will be back!

Amazingly friendly staff, the almejas were absolutely delicious, loved every bite ! Wine was good and so was the octopus. Everything on the menu looks good. Try the egg white desert it’s light and very interesting 😉

It is kind of a trap for tourist. They do not quite offer all the details regarding the price of the dishes they suggest to you. Me and my friends paid double compared with what we expected. Food was kind of good. Not excellent, but good. Wine was good but too expensive for the quality. May be good for locals but for foreigners, if you don't speak the language, it is not a place to spend time.

Food is great and custormers are charged a fair price! It is a good place to grab a bite if you intend to spend the night nearby (at the casino or hang out at Deck Bar). Staff is very nice and service is pretty quick!
