Beautiful palace and garden BUT IT IS CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION. Aug 2022. They have no idea when it is going to be reopened. No information on the website that it was closed...You can still visit the gardens which are very nice. Especially the Poet Cascade. Park just outside the palace is also worth a quick visit

It is worth a visit in 2 years. Due to works in the Palace itself, it is not opened to vistors but the gardens. Nice place Oeiras to spend the whole day with a visit and a lunch.

Called into the office but was told that the Palace has been CLOSED for renovations for some time and they have no idea when it will reopen! Apparently they have tried to amend the opening times on Google maps but without success! Although the building was out of bounds I was told I could look around the gardens. The gardens are certainly worth a look.

Beautiful gardens with tiled walls and statues. The palace is under renovation, but ornate chapel, frescoes and azulejos may be seen. We visited for no entry fee.

Such an amazing place. The palace itself was half closed for some kind of event so they made our entrance free if charge. The gardens and statues are amazing. In great condition but not too polished.

The palace is currently closed due to some internal works, so you can visit just the garden close to it. It is free. It takes almost 70 min to see the garden fully. Also, there is a path for disabled persons. Close to the palace you can park your car. If you are in Oeiras, you should visit this place.

Best catered garden party ever with great wines and gardens. Very historic. Arrived as part of a wine tour.

Lovely surprise! Fabulous tiles and capela...will be stunning once the renovation is complete. Currently closed to visitors and used as administrative office space.

Went to the carnival event that they had this past weekend. Pleasant atmosphere to walk around the gardens. We did not get to go inside any of the buildings. Was a nice afternoon.

The palace was nothing special, but the surrounding gardens are worth a visit. Currently closed for renovations.
