Delicious sweets! The “Queijadas” are a must try at this traditional Sintra spot. Highly recommend when visiting the city.

Came back today from a day trip in Sintra and tried the Queijadas here, along with the Travesseiro and Pastel de Nata. The Queijadas were delicious - the customer service was lovely, and the seating was great - we sat next to the fireplace, it was warm, cozy, with good music in the background, and lovely views to the National Palace of Sintra. We spent less than 30 minutes there as we had a busy itinerary, but it was relaxing and worth it!

The cafe was so cute and the people there were very nice! They recommended the sintra speciality queijadas, it was delicious! The coffee is great and all their desserts are amazing. I would highly recommend.

You can try Traditional Sintra sweets! Queijada and Travesseiro! Sweetness is just right and they are really wonderful taste.I love them. Payment with card isn’t available when you buy sweets of small amount of money. Maybe up to 4€? Service is not good. She took other’s order in spite of me waiting so long.

Loved the texture of the queijada and pastel tho they were too sweet for my taste. My friends were okay with the level of sweetness. I also enjoyed the galao coffee!

The place where the original "queijadas", one of the typical Sintra pastries can be found. This house was the first to produce them, and they have been doing it since 1756, just one year after the great Lisbon earthquake, making this place also an historical landmark of Sintra.

Cute like pastry shop, perfectly on the way to the Quinta, Castle or Palace. Pastel de Nata was decent but not outstanding. Queijadas were very interesting! Unfortunately they were closed on our way back, so we couldn't get a snack for the way home.

Amazing place to enjoy good quality coffee and tradicional pastries. Very Reasonable priced. Two coffees and 3 small pastries 5€. Beautiful thoughtful place to sit down and 2 tables outside to enjoy city view. Highly recommended and staff is amazing.

Such a nice cozy place to enjoy a lazy afternoon. Hands down the best queijada - fell in love with it at the first bite. Pastel de nata was fantastic with amazing texture. I quite like their galão too, very nicely made, milk foam and the different layers were impressive. Highly recommend!!

Delightful cafe. Opened 40-45 minutes later than expected today based on info I saw online. Travesseiro and queijadas were delicious. The former is the fluffiest pillow with a little almond filling inside. The latter is cheese and cinnamon filling with a crisp outer shell. Husband also had a yellow pastry that almost looks like a rolled up pastry with custard, which was good but overshadowed by the other two. Outside of the cafe had 3 tables. Inside tea room had another 4 tables, fireplace and WC.

Just amazing, best queijadas (fresh cheese tarts typical from sintra) the "travesseiro" (literally translates to pillow) is also amazing and worth a try. The inside room resembles an old English tea shop, very cozy in the winter (or just a typical day in sintra) and the outside tables are worthy of Instagram photos too. Ahh and it's close to the train station on the walk to old town center so no reason to skip it

I went there specially for Travesseiros, which were fresh and tasty, until yesterday. I went there to buy some, 6 pieces, and asked if they were fresh. The lady said yes. It occurred that travesseiros were not fresh not from the day, and I bought the whole box just to waste it...I don't understand why you should lie and sell what is not fresh, in such a place as Sintra in particular...

Very nice magical small bakery. Me and my friend got some pastry to go as there was no free table outside. So count with a fact that there might be all the tables occupied. There was also quite a noise because of car road right next to the place. This has nothing to do with quality of bakery, but might disturb chilling outside at the place. I had very soft chocolate filled pastry and I strongly recommend it, especially if you like chocolate.
