Service and food are great. Tried many dishes since we came in a large group and everything was great. It gets pretty busy, so better book a table in advance. Traditional octopus dish was just melting in my mouth.

We just found this lovely restaurant by walking by. Very efficient and friendly staff. Décor is modern and contemporary. Lighting is good. Food was delicious. Wine was good. Moderate prices. Would recommend for lunch or dinner.

Stopped at this restaurant in Sintra after touring the Moorish Castle and the Park and National Palace of Pena. The lunch special was well priced and excellent food. Our waiter Miguel made the whole meal very special with amazing recommendations, some of which we wouldn’t have chosen ourselves. His friendly service left a lasting impression, and we can’t wait to go back!. The food was by far the best we had in Portugal, but still affordable and not too pretentious. Definitely a hidden gem in Sintra!

The food was all so so good!! The service was the best we have gotten in Sintra so far, the waiters are so kind and so helpful :) The food came quite fast relative to other places I’ve been to. The risottos are big and filling so next time I would share mine maybe, but we also have small tummies in this family.

We had a fantastic lunch here. Reviews noted it was gluten free and with one question the waiter picked up on it and offered gluten-free bread which came out freshly baked. The fish was fresh and delicious and service was on point. Im still dreaming about the scallops. Yum!

The food was decent but not rave worthy as the previous reviews suggest, for me at least! I ordered the cod with the sautéed vegetables and although the cod was great and beautifully presented I really don’t feel the vegetables went well with it. There were way too many finely cut vegetables and the way it was cooked wasn’t to my taste, it almost looked like it was sautéed with egg white. The restaurant is small but has a cosy vibe. The staff were polite to begin with but I definitely felt rushed as we were coming to the end of the meal. As soon as my daughter went to use the lavatory they came to clear her plate despite it still having half the food still on it! She didn’t like it so I let them take it, then next they brought the bill while we were still having our drinks. We were only there about half an hour so it was not like we were taking our time so I found it really odd and uncomfortable the way they were forcing us out of the door.

Bang for your buck if getting the set meal. Food was great overall. We also tried the scallop passion fruit risotto which was very unique. Slightly sweeter than I would have preferred however we do love experimenting. There were actual passion fruit seeds in the rice which was super cool. Servers could have been more friendly.

Menu of the day is amazing. We came here two days in a row, second day, also had dinner. Each day, dessert and entrees were different. Food was very good for being only 15€. Soup and salad both solid choices; they do not skimp out on the main course. First day, we both chose a hearty seafood pasta, filled with different types of shellfish. Second day I got the ling cheeks and partner ordered Iberian pork shank. Both wow. The potato puree that came with the ling cheeks was perfection. And moly, 15€! I feel like we were ripping off the restaurant. For dinner, passionfruit risotto and duck magret with fig fantastic. Can’t go wrong with the chocolate fondue and olive oil pudding (unique). Only con was the American woman dining behind us, who told the elderly Portuguese couple to turn down his phone ( we didn’t hear anything). Felt so bad for the elderly couple. But of course, the American group behind her (whose conversation we can hear across the room) she didn’t say anything to them…..

We had an amazing dinner . Worth every penny and not expensive at all. My husband had the tasting menu and I had the sheep melted cheese, the lobster soup and the scallops with passion fruit risotto. The portions are big in my opinion, the service was great and so professional, we also had a bottle of wine ( Rose) all was about 105 euros. I highly recommend.

So happy I found this last minute standing in the rain in Sintra. I made a reservation two hours in advance and they graciously accepted it. I’m glad I did, as they turned some people away at the door who didn’t have reservations! It was completely full but the tables are not close together, so it didn’t feel crowded. We ordered the fish of the day and the meat of the day which were both amazing. My boyfriend, who doesn’t eat cilantro/coriander, loved the fish which was heavily coriander based. That’s a feat in itself! We also ordered the salad and a soup, which they helped split into two portions which was appreciated. Highly recommend to try and make a reservation. I thought the price was fair (around €55) considering the quality and the amount we ordered.

João took time to explain all of the food and wine pairings, and paced the courses perfectly. It was my husband's birthday, and our experience at Incomum made it an extra special experience. Great place to eat when you visit Sintra. Fantastic staff, flavourful food, and wine. Scallop risotto's scallops are pretty salty but overall well balanced with mushroommy rice. The best meal we had during our 10 day vacation in Portugal. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and staff was so amazing. Our waitress, Joana, had the BEST recommendations. She was so attentive. She recommended the garlic shrimp appetizer, crab and lobster soup, octopus with spinach and sweet potato, and olive oil pudding for dessert and every recommendation was spot on. We went here for a date night and loved it! The sangria was perfect. We had the scallop risotto and steak. The risotto had a hint of raspberry flavoring that I loved and the scallops were cooked perfectly. For dessert I recommend the chocolate fondant with raspberry sorbet and the tiramisu. Was recommended this restaurant by the lady at our hotel, it was literally 50 m away and as we were so tired from hiking up and down to the Pena Palace we needed a good early dinner to end the day with. We got the lobster and crab soup and garlic shrimps which were both great (especially the shrimps). For mains the matured veal (so good!!) and scallops snd wild mushroom risotto. The scallops were delicious and so tender and perfectly cooked but the risotto was to creamy and rich for my liking. The desserts were also divine especially the olive oil pudding with cherry sorbet which was so unique and definately a must! The waiters were attentive and knowledgable snd recommended a wonderful red wine from the Douro valley which really hit the spot. They do a really good value lunch for €12.50 which we sadly didn’t get to try as we came for dinner but considering the price is definately a great deal!

It comes with a side of raspberry sorbet, which is made in house and it is absolutely delicious, probably the best raspberry sorbet I’ve had in my life. You will not regret stop and buy this place for lunch or dinner.

The passionfruit cheesecake had a creamy texture with a "hard" but delicious crust. Come here for lunch and avoid tourist traps around. Incomum by Luis Santos is a nice little surprise in Sintra. This is a very good contemporary restaurant situated along Rua Doutor Alfredo da Costa, just a few minutes from the rail station. They are open from 12pm to 12am daily (closed on Wednesdays) and have a fair-sized indoor seating area, a few seats outdoor and a wine bar next door as well. Reservations during peak meal times is recommended. We had dinner here during a recent stay in Sintra and very much enjoyed everything served. Padron pepper starter was a good way to begin our meal. The Octopus with spinach and roasted potato main was very good. Even better was the guinea fowl with Chevre and beets risotto, a dish we'd gladly reorder the next time around. Dishes were presentable, fresh and demonstrated good skill in the kitchen. After mains we tried two desserts. The 70% Cocoa Chocolate Fondant with Raspberry and sorbet was nice, good for the chocolate lover. More interesting and enjoyed was the Incomum signature Olive Oil Pudding, pineapple sorbet & carpaccio served with a bit of Azores Cheese. This one challenges your pallet a bit while tasting really nice. Give it a try if you are feeling a bit more adventurous. Overall, we found Incomum by Luis Santos to be a really good restaurant in Sintra. This is a place we would gladly return to again the next time we are around.
