Cozy room and excellent hospitality from Marco, Nuno and the team. Many palaces were closed our first few days in Sintra but Marco gave us tons of tips in the surrounding area. He even gave us an amazing route to drive from Sintra to Lagos including where to stop for lunch! From the delicious breakfast, spotless room cleaning & laundry to staying late to give us key, the Storytellers team really went above and beyond to make our stay stress-free and memorable. Definitely my favorite place in Portugal!

Story Tellers is such a wonderful, amazing place to stay! The little apartment is wonderful the grounds have a little sitting are with a pond, the location is WONDERFUL, with ample parking and wonderful views! There is a little cafe right downstairs that make delicious pastries and coffee and it is just in general so pretty! There are also numerous restaurants in walking distance! However the best parts are the owner and the staff. Marco is kind and caring and so very helpful in all way! Literally like you are family and Nuno is the caretaker and he is sooo friendly and caring! They make you feel like they've known you forever and welcome you so warmly! I 1000% recommend!! Sintra is magical and Story Tellers just makes it even better!

Amazing place to stay in Sintra. Right away I felt very welcomed and accommodated. The room was nice, clean and had everything I needed. Loved the rain water shower. I received many compliments on the room from the wedding party that I was with. The breakfast was prepared by a celebrity chef that had in depth knowledge of the area and how to best tour and get around. Will need to come back some day. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. All of the folks at Storytellers really helped make my Portugal trip a magical experience.

Our stay at Storytellers Villas was perfect! Fantastic Apartment with everything you could need during your stay. Also, a great location. Delicious breakfast. And of course, wonderful staff. Nuno was very helpful and Marco (owner) was one of the most friendly and interesting people we’ve met on our trip. They really went above and beyond our expectations. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sintra.

Nice stay...very roomie. Has all the amenities you need and more! It is in a nice location, convenient to a lot of attractions but quiet for a good night's sleep. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is great, nice sitting area and kitchen with all you need, tea, coffee maker, a couple of burners and pots and pans. The best part though is Marco who is the owner. The guy is a legend. He is so nice and hospitable, has tons of stories and is willing to tell you all the great things to do around town.

Three weeks has passed since our stay at Sintra and I can confidently say that Sintra was the highlight of our Portugal road trip (four nights) and that Storytellers was the perfect accompaniment. Our room was comfortable for our family of four and the breakfast a delight each morning. We are looking forward to be back when the town square opposite the hotel is back in operation. Big thanks to Marco and the team.

The stay at Storytellers Villa was the highlight of our Portugal trip. As if the superb location isn't enough (walk to Pena, close to great restaurant, cool microclimate) this hotel also had great rooms (Netflix tv, great bathroom with walkin shower, tastefully decorated). On top of that Marco was an extremely helpful host . One sentence doesn't do justice to lengths Marco went to to help us during the trip(made great breakfast too). All the staff was super friendly and accommodating. In fact we liked it there so much that we made some last minute changes to our trip to have an additional stay there on our way back to Porto. Deserves more than five stars. Highly recommended. Can't wait to stay there again.

There are very few places that holds true to their name. The storytellers villas is one of them. We stayed here for one night on our visit to Sintra. The place is central to everything . Nuno is a great host . Don’t miss sipping the morning tea/coffee in the garden in the backyard. It’s absolutely magical. There is an Indian-Italian Resturant next door which serves fantastic Indian food.

You can’t imagine anything better! Great host, amazing design, excellent quality in everything, tranquility and good location. You will have all the advices and assistance needed, you will be surrounded with care and attention. Absolutely must stay!

A hidden gem of a Boutique Hotel in Sintra, Portugal. Marco the owner was fantastic and offered great tips on places to go and local restaurants. I would highly recommend for your stay in Sintra 😎
