👍👍 The hosts and rooms ( I saw them all) are wonderful, bright, modern and traditional at the same time and with good vibes. Breakfast is varied, including all you need. Location is great close to the sightseeing spots but also the train station and restaurants. Also quiet. I stayed for 5 days will go... For me it was a perfect stay. Let's start with the design of the place, you can feel that the owner has lived all around Europe, what a wonderful taste! Artists will understand. The breakfast is really delicious, high quality fruit wich was very important for me. Home made croissants and cake as well😋 The owner is just a wonderful person, he's very welcoming and just has good energy. I stayed for one night and definitely wish i could stay longer!

Very nice hotel in a good central yet quiet location. Very clean. Ana and Manuel were both very helpful and attentive in a discreet way. Breakfast excellent, we liked the decor and the courtyard seating area. Excellent bars and restaurants, also taxis within a minute’s walk.

Nice little place to stay across from amazing food. Breakfast was good and the staff very nice and helpful. Be aware you will have problems parking in town. The hotel does not have parking, and if you get in mid day pry you get lucky. Would we stay again, yes and we would take the train in. You can walk everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aguamel. Our room, 102, was very clean and the hotel manager, Manuel, was very friendly and helpful with plenty of great tips for exploring the city. Highly recommended!

We had lots of problems finding the location because Google maps was not helpful. The room was ok, but with a very unpleasant smell. The bed is comfy. The bathroom has some mold and things can be actually improved because it is necessary! The breakfast was quite poor and what it bothered me a lot was that they gave us something else in a Nutella jar. I prefer to know what I eat instead of being lied. All in all the price of 107 Euro for this room was way too much for what was offered. This should be a 70ish Euro room and this because of the location.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and was cleaned every day and smelt fresh which is fantastic (some places smell stale and are just terrible!). Our room had everything that we needed to be comfortable. The hosts are friendly and polite. Breakfast is nice and varied and it was fresh and tasty. The location is amazing, we could not asked for a better location to be honest. I would recommend this as a place to stay for singles or couples.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Aguamel boutique guest house while in Sintra for a wedding. We were traveling with our infant son and they were very accommodating. The owner was very thoughtful and friendly, he also provided us with great local restaurant recommendations. This stay especially stood out for the great homemade breakfast croissants. Also, we apologized for our messy room one morning and the staff went well beyond the necessary cleaning for our room and completely tidied up.

A great little boutique bed and breakfast in the center of Sintra and within a walking distance to train station, national palace and Regaleira. Delicious fresh breakfast served daily starting at 9am. There are also tables in the yard where you can have some wine and a snack if you choose so. Soundproofing could be a bit better, but it wasn't a big issue during our stay. In my experience it is possible to walk to the hotel with carry-on luggage. To avoid stairs, walk to National Palace first and take Rua Padarias, then Rua da Fonte da Pipa. Finally, get lunch at Tascantiga across the street.

Sintra was great. Loved the castles and historic sites. They were wonderful people and great breakfast. Love the pastries and croissants. Very fresh and just out of the oven. Highly recommend this place.

Pro’s: - central location - very close to 434 bus and Palacio nacional! - nearby amenities - bar, restaurant, convenience store - free and tasty cake downstairs - breakfast included - second washroom downstairs available in addition to the one in your room - nice patio and lounge area Con’s: - very small room (we had room 203) - toilet next to bed, little storage room for luggage - humidity damage to ceiling above shower - tiny windows - no AC - requires some strong arms if you plan to walk given it’s on a pebble walk hill with lots of stairs, so suitcases need to be carried. Consider a vehicle to help you get to the hotel - fruits weren’t as fresh (moldy cherries)

Really wonderful boutique guest house. Owner Manuel and front-of-house Sofia are both very friendly and accommodating. They were both very understanding about us having our baby son with us and gave excellent recommendations. The room was spacious (for Europe) and very tastefully decorated, with cute bookshelves, nooks, and a very decently sized closet. Breakfast buffet was excellent for a guest house of this size, with homemade croissants and coffee cakes. The hotel also offers complimentary tea, water, and cakes in the lobby, and an "honesty kitchen" where you can purchase yogourt, wine, bottles of water, etc from the fridge. Overall, very clean, spacious, and classy place. Only areas where they could use a little improvement are the tone of the initial e-mail conversations before we arrived (which were a little cold/confrontational) and slight mould in the grout of the shower walls (we tried to leave the shower fan on at all times to remove any moisture and prevent the mould from growing, but Sofia told us to turn it off, so *shrug*). Really lovely people and excellent service.

The floors in this house are creaky and you will be kept awake by others coming in late and getting up early. The accommodation includes breakfast but if you have an early start, before 8 am, well tough, you might get a few biscuits and be allowed to make yourself a cup of coffee. The staff are not overly friendly. On the positive side it is close to the start of the trek to the Moor's Castle.

We loved the charm and centric location of this place once we were inside the actual place and/or room. To get here isn't a simple task. We had a very decent breakfast, and the employees were very courteous, respectful, and friendly. The small hostel looks clean and smells good. The rooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. Hopefully, I can return in the future.

Very nice place. Well run and clean. Great breakfast. Very near Sintra City Center and Sintra Palace. Located up a direct path from the center. Very quiet. Hope to stay here again
