The Ocean is one of several beach clubs located next to each other but the food and service make it outstanding. After the weekend day on the beach we wanted to land on some beach club to refresh and have some meal. We walked through several beach clubs but all of them claimed they were fully booked. When we got to the Ocean, despite being booked, the staff found a way to get us a free table with chairs in a perfect location. The meal and the wine carte are great. Chilling music and atmosphere (music from another beach club was louder and less relaxing, so I was happy to end up at the Ocean Beach Club). The place has sort of a restaurant area inside and the beach area with tables and umbrellas outside. Thanks again to the staff that were super friendly, helpful and professional (and speaking English)).

The first time I saw the Atlantic Ocean - was at The Ocean Beach Bar. This is a really cool place to chillout, get some cool beverages, drinks and to eat a really good stuff. I ate the octopus which was served with spinach and potatoes and grilled garlic flakes. Octopus was very well prepared, just melted in mouth releasing the taste - it was delicious. If You are there with companion I recommend the Fish of the Day menu. Place is safe and clean. The service is very helpful and friendly. The DJ there is providing very good sets - house, chillout, light progressive electronic stuff also mixed with some southern latino vibes which are great to dance. Place is good to watch the sunset as well. Thanks for Your hospitality The Ocean.

Really cool beach front bar, great for a chill with a group of friends. They play live DJs during the day.

What an amazing place. We were a big group and they managed to find a table for all of us on short notice. Food was great! Garlic prawns were top notch.

A typical restaurant, but quality and delicious food ... playing light music and the sound of the sea wave ... My wife and I had a lot of fun and we will probably come to this restaurant from now on.

Phenomenal service, great value fresh food, beautiful beach views.

Extremely disappointing. Slow and disorganized service: medium rare steak arrived well done, one potato was rotten, and they were out of vodka for cocktails. We had to repeat our orders several times and the place wasn't busy. It's by the beach and I wasn't expecting great service, but this went way below my low expectations.

We’ve rented a table at the beach near the sea for 20 euros for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella and 8 euro for and extra chair, which I reserved from the hotel about 1h before we arrive. There’s an area nearby where you can drink and you won’t pay for the chair. We also ate at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicous. We ordered the Cod fish and Dourado Fish, they were both amazing. We got a table after just 5-10 min of wait at the restaurante. I’d definitely come back.

It’s fine but not amazing

Terrible, overpriced tourist place: we went there for dinner, the music was so loud, that we couldn't understand the person sitting next to us. Even after asking to turn down the music a bit, nothing happened. The service was super slow, drinks and food never came together for our table, drinks were served in cheap plastic cups, food was cold and also a dish was served, which we never ordered. In the end, the cashier was not able to split the bill by herself: she asked each of us to calculate our part of the bill on our own. Would never recommend coming here. Sad for the great location, since it has a nice view.

If you're happen to be around beautiful Praia de São João, in Caparica near Lisbon, you can't miss the Ocean Beach Bar! Excellent choice for a sunset meal, enjoying the beach view, the sun, great sound, great choices for food, greatissimo mood! You won't regret it!

Food was tasty, fresh fish and quality meat. Service was great and very friendly. Only drawback was the price which was a bit exaggerated, even though you have the "beach" experience.

I was there for lunch last Sunday with a friend. I ordered a sandwich and sweet potato fries. I was only served the sandwich, I had to ask for the fries 2 twice. After one hour, regular fries arrived, so I refused because on top of ending my lunch 1 hour before, it was even not what I ordered. Sweet potato fries finally arrived, and although I wasn't hungy anymore I took them. On the following day, when checking my bill, I was charged for both portions of fries ... I sent an email to inform them, no one even answered anything. Not mentionning we were brought twice to our table someone else's lunch, and running after waiters to get the menu or order. So except for the beauty of the spot, I do not recommend.

Good place to have a drink and watch the sunset. Staff is accommodating. And service was also fast.

Amazing! We visited on a quiet Monday night and the team working were incredible and gave us extra special service. All of the food, especially the Tiger Prawns were delicious. We would highly recommend! And the sparkling wine sangria with berries was lovely. 🥂 if you can, try to sit outside. It’s nice to have the warm sand in your toes while you eat!

Nice music, a bit too loud sometimes but nevermind, cool environment and friendly staff.

Being a beach club the setting is always nice. Went recently with the family on a very quiet week day, good service, very decently sized portions. Suggest trying the octopus as a starter. The only two negatives where the fact that they didn't have a substantial part of what was shown in the menu (surely for being a weekday) and the overpriced and not very good lemonades.

Terrible service, yet tons of people “working”. We had to go ask for our drinks. Food and drinks continuously went to the wrong table. Over an hour to get any food. Once it came it was cold. Daughter summed it up perfectly saying the wait staff was ignoring the patrons.
