Learn how to surf here! Good waves and nice beach to rear and take some sun. Plan 1 day ahead for bookings for surf lessons.

This is the perfect place to hang out and surf at one of the many surf schools. It’s easily accessible from Lisbon by taking the 161 bus from the Areeiro metro station every half hour; the ticket is just shy of 5€, it’s convenient to make the CartaViva metropolitano pass

Probably one of the most popular and larger beaches in Lisbon. It can be windy as the beach is not well protected from the elements. There are great views of the ocean and amazing restaurants to choose from along the promenade. A must see when in Lisbon.

Visited this place several times and it always refreshes your soul. The best thing is thing are the surfers who can be seen inside the sea waiting for high waves.

Incredible! Went for a surfing lesson here and the weather was perfect. Sand is nice and soft and there is a cute restaurant you can eat at nearby.

Costa da Caparica, a beautiful place, whether for the landscape of the walls that surround the entire extension of the neighborhood, such as the sea with clear waters, a peaceful place with an excellent boardwalk to enjoy delicious food in its restaurants facing the sea, and take walks by the sea.

Highly recommend taking the bus 3710 from Lisbon to Costa da caparica.. The best experience of the beach for miles.. you can just keep walking from one end to the other.. The water is calm and nice to dip your feet in or have a swim.. There are quite a few surf folks out there in the water.. I even saw the barnacles on the rocks.. pretty cool..

If visiting Lisbon during the Summer, do not lose the opportunity to stop by Costa da Caparica amazing beaches. If Spring time, make sure to visit to get the fresh breeze from the sea. If going in Autumn or Winter... Well, get your eyes guide your imagination with the beautiful views of a vast big blue sea! Many beaches have bars or restaurants to get a simple coffee or... a must try delicious fresh grilled fish 🐟🐟🎏

great for surf skimming, body board or just for a dip. Diverse support services (bars, restaurants or rental of equipment for sports practices) just at 4 meters from the beach

Very popular and busy area. Plenty of bar/restaurant along the front charging prime rates. Expect to have an extended wait for a table at peek times. Surf varies considerably with tide. Very busy surf schools.
