What a view and what a breeze of fresh air. The lake is located in a crater surrounded by mountains. The air is very relaxing and calming. The lake is clean and suitable for swimming.

Trip to Lake Wenchi...!!! A quick weekend plan executed extremely well. Had a lot of fun along with amazing Trekking experience. 🤩🤩🤩 Wenchi crater lake is nearby Ambo town.,we hired a private vehicle and reached within 90 minutes, as the road construction was ongoing. Entry fee, horse ride (while returning), boating charges will be charged individually (approx. 600 ETB) and guide fee (500 ETB) will be for the group. You will find natural beauty all around, Hot underground spring water (tastes like Soda), natural Hot bath, African monkeys, rocky hills, streams, lake island, churches etc. ALL ARE SOME OF THE BEST TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS SITE. *QUICK TIPS* Take your own food and water if you are going for the long trek. Wear light shaded clothes and face mask while traveling, as the volcano dust will be there throughout the journey. Must have shoes with good grip, otherwise chances are there to get slip easily.
