I've
never
been
so
disrespected
by
any
business
as
One
Peak.
I
am
their
target
audience,
a
person
with
an
interest
in
innovative
health
testing
and
wellness.
I
was
excited
to
go
in
for
a
test
that
my
PCP
recommended
to
try
to
solve
a
chronic
issue
from
a
new
angle.
I
left
confused,
overwhelmed,
and
insulted.
I
will
seek
out
alternatives
to
One
Peak,
but
I
have
specific
and
actionable
feedback
since
patients
deserve
better.
Privacy
-
Staff
barged
into
the
exam
room
on
two
occasions
during
my
appointment.
This
has
never
happened
at
any
other
medical
facility
to
me
before.
I'm
glad
I'm
not
using
you
for
paps.
The
layout
of
the
lobby
should
be
reconsidered.
The
desk
is
immediately
to
the
right
as
you
enter.
Therefore,
while
I'm
trying
to
check
out,
the
next
patient
comes
in
and
stands
roughly
two
feet
beside
me
at
the
desk,
eliminating
any
chance
of
private
conversation
about
my
appointment.
You
have
the
space
to
distance
your
desk
from
the
door
to
create
a
proper
and
respectful
waiting
area.
Special
events
-
I
arrived
to
a
weird
chaotic
energy
and
commotion.
It
turns
out
the
founder
was
visiting.
I
get
that's
exciting,
but
I
wouldn't
have
expected
that
sort
of
behavior
in
patient-facing
areas
of
a
medical
clinic.
It's
giving
Theranos.
Consider
closing
your
availability
at
times
like
these
to
avoid
disrespecting
patients.
For
example,
as
I'm
at
the
desk
to
make
a
follow-up
appointment,
the
founder
stands
beside
me
to
record
the
team
dancing
to
loud
music
now
that
all
her
providers
were
finally
available.
I
couldn't
talk
to
the
receptionist
and
had
difficulty
hearing
her
questions.
You
prioritized
making
TikToks
over
my
comfort
and
ability
to
conduct
business
with
you.
Appointment
length
-
This
was
was
roughly
half
an
hour
long.
I'm
not
sure
if
this
is
the
usual
length,
or
if
it
was
rushed
in
order
for
everyone
to
get
together
and
dance
to
outdated
songs.
This
is
not
enough
time
for
a
first
visit
and
I
was
shocked
when
my
provider
motioned
that
our
time
was
up.
Initial
visits
with
new
providers
outside
of
One
Peak
have
routinely
provided
an
hour.
During
my
visit,
I
filled
out
at
least
four
sheets
of
paperwork,
and
these
are
in
addition
to
the
extensive
questionnaire
I
already
filled
out
online
in
advance.
This
means
that
my
provider
is
asking
me
questions
about
symptoms
while
I'm
also
trying
to
fill
out
diagnostic
paperwork
at
the
same
time.
I
found
myself
feeling
lost
and
overwhelmed
at
how
disorganized
the
conversation
and
process
was.
A
longer
appointment
where
I
didn't
have
to
multitask
questionnaires
would
be
appreciated.
Deceitful
sales?
-
I
came
in
for
a
specific
test
request,
recommended
by
my
PCP.
I
had
things
I
wanted
to
add-on
since
I
found
other
services
intriguing,
but
I
made
my
priority
clear.
Based
on
my
paperwork,
the
provider
stated
that
the
test
I
requested
would
not
be
useful
and
tried
to
push
me
toward
other
testing.
I'm
not
sure
why
since
our
time
was
abruptly
over,
but
I
said
that
I
wanted
to
continue
with
the
testing
originally
requested
regardless
of
whether
she
thought
it
would
be
useful.
I
was
ushered
over
to
make
my
lab
appointment.
I
had
no
idea
what
labs
were
scheduled
until
the
summary
was
viewable
online
later.
The
original
test
requested
does
not
seem
to
be
there,
but
there
are
plenty
of
other
tests
ordered.
My
PCP
has
seen
me
for
years
and
understands
my
goals.
That
you
are
implying
her
recommendation
is
not
valid
after
a
half
hour
of
meeting
me
without
a
clear
reason
is
offensive.
I'm
wondering
if
you
don't
do
the
testing
I
requested
and
declined
to
admit
it
in
order
to
sell
me
on
others,
which
is
deceitful.
Many
of
the
tests
ordered
are
tests
my
PCP
has
conducted
in
the
past
year,
so
there
is
no
need
to
test
again.
One
Peak
has
not
attempted
to
gather
any
of
my
existing
medical
records
to
check
for
redundancies,
which
is
a
red
flag.
Lab
orders
need
to
be
more
clear
and
summarized
at
the
end
of
the
appointment.
That
this
is
a
primary
part
of
your
business
and
so
unclear
is
absurd.
It
makes
me
feel
like
you're
attempting
to
scam
patients
with
unnecessary
testing.
