Basic and boring....food was beyond bland. I had mushroom stroganof, they boiled some noodles without salt, put in a bowl then poured a can of cream of mushroom on top and called it stroganof...btw..it was grey in color not brown sauce according to their menu. No flavor.!!server was very nice so 1 stars for her. Beer selection was great as well so another star for that. Don't order food here just get a beer and sit outside.

Super cute place. Food was awesome. I had the Turkey Ruben & a side Salad. The side Salad was phenomenal & quite bigger than any side Salad I'd ever seen. The Turkey Ruben was ok, it was pretty flat/thin in size, compared to their traditional Ruben which was huge & thick. Also, they forgot to put the Juniper Sauerkraut on it, & it was a very dry sandwich even after I added my Sauerkraut to it. I had to get up & go get the Sauerkraut, up at the ordering area, which was quite the task, due to SO many patrons inside. The Lady who helped me was kind & apologetic. The place is TINY, TINY, so if you plan on going, you'd best get there before the rush, or you'll not find anywhere to sit. It was trivia night & loads of folks were having fun. It's such a neat place, with a nicely diverse menu, that I am looking forward to taking other friends there soon. If you like Alcohol, I cannot even begin to describe all the choices they have to offer. The special that night was Crab Rangoon Pierogies & my folks said they were delish. Others in our party got the Brat Sandwich, the Nachos, the Stroganoff, the Mac & Cheese & all folks were very pleased too. I will be back for trying out more food, the fun experience of the place!

Well a group of us went here for 2 of our friends birthday's we traveled from an hour away. The comedians were rude ! Completely disrespectful I walked out after the 2nd comedian and sat outside until it was over. Not only that it was filthy dirty inside I hope we don't get sick from the food. They should be shut down and made to clean.

Charged a dollar extra to upgrade to fries then they were cold, soggy, and 100% uncooked. We ordered like 3 things 2/3 were underwhelming, but the vegan Mac was pretty tasty. 0 stars for the upcharged, uncooked fries though.

Great beer selection. Was pleasantly surprised to find 5 different sours on tap this summer. Happy hour from 3 to 6.

Wonderful food and drink selection. A very small space but the perfect atmosphere for friends or first dates.

Don’t waste your time here. Me and my girlfriend drove a long way to see a comedy show right after they promoted it. We were told we couldn’t stay and we should have signed up two days ago. This venue needs to figure out their advertising and customer service better before I will return. It’s weird to be turned away from an empty venue while my pocket is full of cash. I hope they can figure it out soon.

Y'all. I found myself in this restaurant for lunch during a particularly difficult day. The bartender made a truly excellent margarita (don't judge me... it was a really rough day) and after drinking that and gorging myself on pierogis and stroganoff, I am telling you, I felt so much better. Food, drink, and service were all great.

went during what seemed like a fairly quiet time, around 12/1pm. service was friendly and the food was decent. i tried the mushroom stroganoff with impossible meat and thought it was pretty good; slightly tangy and sweet and yummy. the fries tasted fairly bland. not sure if i would personally actively seek to return here by myself, but if i ended up here again with some friends i bet it would be a nice time.

Sometimes it's the little things: this place has all kinds of beer, great music on the speakers, and good food. But I noticed the cook was wearing a mask. Dude- I appreciate you. I anyway thought the place was 5 stars, but it's because I saw that, I'm putting down a review. Thank you

Went in. From out of town so looking to just grab a beer and chill. Actually really good live music, woman with an acoustic guitar playing some really solid music. Best part of the experience by far. Then is everything else. Got an IPA on nitro. It tasted like poorly cleaned lines and regret. When I brought this up to the bartender, I was told I must not understand that it was on nitro and that can make it taste, and I quote, “Weird.” I have had many nitro beers. I tend to like nitro IPAs. Nitro does, admittedly, have a different mouthfeel and taste compared to IPAs not on nitro, but I know this beer was poured from a gross line, not just nitro. Wasn’t even looking for a refund, just trying to let them know it might be a good idea to 86 that line. Ended up just saying whatever and running to the bathroom before heading out. Which might have been a mistake even as a guy. The bathrooms were filthy, and you walk right past the kitchen to get there, which was also filthy. Like spiderwebs filthy. I’m not a prude, and I previously worked in restaurants for years, so I’m fully aware of the fact that sparkling clean isn’t really realistic. Let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t order food.

Decent local tap house. The staff is always friendly and we have always had fast service. The beer selection is good and they have a full bar for cocktails. Not a great wine selection but I get that isn't really the go to for a tap house. The food is good and again it came out fast which is very nice. My only other comment would be the club sandwich on the menu isn't really a club, it is a turkey sandwich with bacon jelly. It was still tasty though. 🍻

The atmosphere reflects that of an old bank which this tap house was at one time when one notices the old time pieces left over such as the bank vault door and the old wood interior.the lay out is qa.ans.cozy with a sizable bar stretching out behind a helpful bartender Kendal offering a.plethorq of drinks to choose from .my choice was a superb crafted ginger 🍺 beer.every Monday night is open Mic night which.offers a variety of willing talented musicians time on stage to sing and play their hearts out.thwre are public restrooms clean and neat they offer a good selection of munchies and dinners.parking is very limited along Broadway but.not.impossible. The establishment can be seen from the street as inviting and enticing.this place for myself represents Eugene past and present in a nostalgic way.I.highily recommend coming to first national tap house Try it and you'll discover why.prices are reasonably affordable a casual atmosphere whatever the occasion.

My friend and I ate here after doing a hike in Eugene and I was so impressed and satisfied! I was visiting from Colorado so finding a place to eat in an area you don’t know well can be daunting so I was happy to stumble upon First National. They were so sweet to my dogs, bringing them water in an actual dog bowl and dog treats. The beer list was extensive and the bartender let me taste anything I wanted before ordering (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name!) Plus, the veggie and vegan options were plentiful. Both my friend and I have dietary restrictions and were very pleased not only with our options but also the quality of our food choices. I’ve never actually had someone cook an impossible burger in any way that felt edible until eating here. And the vegan cheese was actually delicious! Keep up the good work!

Great place for a pint or whatever you fancy to drink. Just popped in the other day for the Impossible Burger and I had the Waldo Lake Chicken Salad. I have to say for 11 dollars the salad was a big disappointment. I hate to rag on one salad but its salad...and for the same price, almost...of the burger, I got a tiny little salad that looked more like a side salad. Otherwise the crew is always fantastic and beers are great. Put your hand up, that's how big the entire salad bowl is to the edges.

Was a nice little place, stopped in and realized they were having a comedy show so we stayed and watched. It was a blast (for free) drinks were priced fairly as well. One downside is slow service ( not enough staff for a full house) and the benches really start to dig into your a*s after an hour. Other than that it was a really neat place to drink and hang out.

Great selection. My only small complaint is that the music was too loud. It made it hard to carry on conversations with the other end of the table. The food was delicious.

Best REUBEN SANDWICH I've ever had in my life! My mom said the same. Please DO NOT ever take this off the menu! WOW. Super thick, partially shredded slices of corned beef (that they make IN-HOUSE in addition to their Thousand Island), and mild sauerkraut (not overly vinegary) which you can appreciate because you are able to enjoy all those classic flavors without pickling your mouth raw. It was absolute perfection. The Mac n Beer Cheese was also mouth watering and super satisfying. Will be back to try more!
