Bartender was rude as soon as we walked through the door. No problems with my ID (early 20s), but had to do a double-take for my friend (who is a POC; early 30s). When he came back with her ID, obviously disappointed it was real and not a fake, he put the ID on the counter (instead of handing it to her) and rolled his eyes. We left immediately because he was so disrespectful. Rough night or racist, we don’t know.

I went with my friends and then one of my friends who is older than me got their real id rejected because there was a small line when she black lit it? We offered to call the non emergency cops to verify her ID and the bartender still refused to accept it. So if you’re 21 don’t go to this bar unless you want to get disrespected :)

One of the worst bars in the Eugene area. Strange smell throughout the bar, the drinks weren’t very good and overpriced, and all around a really weird vibe from the bartenders who were super unfriendly seemed like they hated their jobs. Avoid if you’re in the area, there are much better bars around downtown.

Very chill. Low key, spacey venue to play darts and pool!

This was our second time into Luckey's Bar and it was Enjoyable. We came in on Valentine's Day to have drinks and play pool. We didn't know the schedule as it's not posted anywhere but we were pleased with a Comedy show. We had a few laughs and played several games of pool. The staff was Nice but the drinks were weak. I'm not a drinker, but I did expect to taste some alcohol in my Malibu and Pineapple. We'll come back as the environment was Fun! How do we find a Schedule of shows or Entertainment there?

Venerable and classic dive bar with three pool tables, video poker and solid drinks and beers.

I'm absolutely not a fan of bars at all. The staff here is awesome. Very friendly and easy to talk to. The billiards is by far the best in eugene. Beautiful old Brunswick tables and an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely my new hangout. Love you guys

Favorite Barbuda dive bar. Friendly staff, pool tables and sometimes cool shows. Couches are gone these days but still fairly cool.

Very entertaining to watch the bartender(s) chatting with eachother and customers. I come to this bar because it's quieter and a great distraction after a bad day where jamesons would just be overwhelming. Bathroom lighting is intense though, sobers me up every time 🤣

There’s a specific bartender here who’s very rude and judgmental every time me and my friends go here.. Very unprofessional. Unfortunate, I used to really like this bar.

Luckey’s is such an iconic and historic place that your brain wants you to come here just so it can make memories of being here. This is the oldest bar in Eugene if not Oregon. It survived prohibition by being a cigar shop (among other things). During the depression it had bunk rooms for migrant workers to sleep in and in the mornings loggers would come and pick up laborers from inside the club for a day’s work. The building was also meticulously moved from its original location on 10th and Willamette where the Overpark parking garage now stands. The building used to be larger and connect to additional rooms. The entire place is like a living antique—don’t forget to take a look at the pool tables. They’re the old school giant ones. Also, this is more of a place for beers and bourbon than wine and margs. Music is loud and space is limited. One unfortunate piece of the past that still lingers with us is the bathroom, but authentic vibes abound and that’s part of the vibe. This would be worth a stop if you like historic or old timey things.

if i could give this place no stars i would. They absolutely need to switch to a friendlier staff. And if you're trying to bring friends/family for a night out that might be vacationing here: DONT. I brought some of my friends who were visiting from florida & they wanted to see the night life. no where else turned us away & if they were sus they scanned it. All 3 of their ID's almost gotten taken & we fought for them back since they had a flight the next day. If you are going to turn people away because of "fakes" you need to get a scanner so you don't take away real IDs. common sense, they were about to have some cops pulled up on them. Whoever hired the bartender with the glasses & wears a beanie needs to recheck their hiring standards or at least don't be cheap and buy a scanner! never ever bringing anyone here again. Thanks for nothing Luckys! go to the other bars to have a good time!

Cool vibes but I’ll be damned if the beer didn’t have off flavors the last few times we went. How’s y’all line cleaning routine? 👀

If you are coming for fiis, drink, and great service, it is 4 stars. If you are coming to shoot pool 3 stars. Tables, equipment, and astectlcs are in need of maintenance and some updating.

My friend and I stumbled upon open mic night which was a sweet treat. Bartender was very helpful with local recommendations and very knowledgeable on the beer selection on tap. The pool tables are fun, overall a good dive bar vibe.

This bar has been in down town Eugene for as long as I can remember very nice people and they have fun events from time to time.

I and my man were the only 2 there, however the bartender was in good spirits, very decently mannered, good people skills, drinks were good yet little expensive for their shots. I did win a few bucks, as well. And my man played pinball which he really enjoys. So it was an awesome at random stop by. Thank you.

Super positive and happy environment. Super friendly and educated staff. Clean spaces on the floors and tables as well as seating areas. The restrooms are always super clean and don't smell bad. Out front there are also smoking sections with tables and chairs that are also very well taken care of.
