Cornucopia is a good spot to get a burger. I had the cheese curd burger and it had the perfect combo of onions, cheese curds, mustard and cheese sauce. The cheese sauce almost tasted like a fondue. Fries and tots were both hot and crispy as they should be. The prices are a bit on the high side but the food is worth it.

Had an excellent experience today here! The wait staff is super friendly. The food is great, beer is cold! Stop in, it’s worth it.

Awesome place the staff was super friendly, service was fast despite being very busy, and they have tons of board and card games you can play at your table. Tons of different burgers and sandwiches to choose from. Awesome decorations and wall hangings. Great vibes all around definitely will be back!

Went here for my celebratory post half-marathon burger and beer. Food was so good! Service was awesome. I don’t live in Eugene but the town really respects runner and several of the staff asked about the race and were congratulatory and that made it even more special.

I have been craving a burger and onion rings lately. I got the all American 1/4th pounder with Gouda cheese and onion rings? Amazing. Seriously. It was hard to drink my beer because I kept forgetting about it. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Staff was super friendly. We sat outside at the tables and they came by often. The inside is a little dark and dingy. I had the biggest craving for tater tots so that's all I ordered and it did not disappoint. For $8 I got a heaping pile and they were so crispy. My friend got one of the burgers which was pricey but looked okay. Definitely not a place you come for a healthy meal but it hit the spot.

So many things to say about this restaurant as it was my 1st time and I were to be meeting friends. Unfortunately I had dined alone with no complaints! :) After a long work week and took the weekend out of town I was not going to pass up on this opportunity of going to a place I had heard so much about. A tasty Burger fries and a good brew definitely hit the spot in the middle of the day after a good hike! I will most definitely be coming back here again and again and again and again and again and AGAIN!!!! I will say it was a comfortable, diverse, Exciting,Creative beautiful place. Having the train go by was so cool too! I added a pic for that lol

Even though we only went for drinks and appetizers, the service was great. Definitely coming back for some lunch or dinner entrée.

We had a wonderful dinner and drinks here. They offer a great selection of vegetarian options. I had the Philly Tempeh sandwich and my boyfriend had the Mushroom Swiss as a "vurger". I also had some of their fabulous cocktails including the lemonade and the "Oh Snap". The service was all super friendly and they have a great location in Eugene, with plenty of free parking available in the nearby public parking lots. We will definitely be back!

Been going here for many years. It used to be "THE place" to go for good burgers and a comfortable atmosphere. The food is still good, but the burgers are not up to the standards that they used to be. Nor do they seem to know the difference between rare, medium rare, etc. They are almost always overcooked. I can get past that, but the real issue is how badly the service has gone downhill. The wait is much longer all around, and your server is so busy that you rarely can get their attention, even when you finally want to pay your bill and leave. Something my wife and I have noticed is that not only do we not see many of the old servers anymore, there are less of them. I know COVID was hard on the food industry, but the prices have gone up quite a bit and the quality has gone down with food and service. I think they need to focus more on hiring and keeping the staff that customers have grown accustomed to. That's how you keep standards high and retain your customer base. Though we still go there sometimes, these issues have caused us to seek alternatives.

Good food, very close to the railroad and you do need to sit outside in the cold weather if you have a dog, which we did. The server forgot we were out there so we had to go ask to place our order. I had the chicken taco salad and hubby had the aloha burger.

We always love it here! It's our tradition to come here often for the awesome food, fun relaxed vibe and great friendly service. My now fiance just proposed to me here yesterday as we have many sweet memories here! The staff helped make this moment extra special, and the other guests cheered us on! Such a magical day, thank you Cornucopia!

The food was excellent in a "fun" atmosphere. Try the home-brewed soda, it was superb.

This review is for the Cornucopia Bar & Burgers located on 5th Ave. (I've also posted a second review for the 17th Ave Restaurant location, that in addition to having great food, has great / friendly service.) In the Eugene area for a few days & wanted to try out this location after a very positive experience at the Cornucopia Restaurant located on 17th Ave. Went with an order of cheese curds & their chicken noodle soup. While the food was as expected - delicious, the service was pathetic. Although the server was rarely out of sight, he could not be flagged down & never stopped by once to check on the food / beverages. At least until it was time for the check to be paid & then the charm came out. Although a limited sample size, based upon this experience, I would avoid this location & instead visit the 17th Ave Restaurant.

We have been to the Springfield location a number of times and have always enjoyed it. The food has been tasty and decently priced considering a lot of it is handmade. This was our first time at the Eugene location and we got the baby blue burger and gluten free ohana Keene burger and honestly it was incredibly disappointing. I don't know if it was the location or an off night but the food looked unappetizing with tiny portions. Half a slice of pineapple, brown guacamole, wilted lettuce. We did takeout but ate it 5 minutes after we picked up so it wasn't sitting around. On the plus side we liked the fries and sweet potato fries. Service was good but the food was bad enough it skewed the entire experience. $40 for that disappointment we won't be going back.

Best mac n cheese I've ever had. So glad my aunt took us here! Definitely plan to come back when we visit. And they're kid friendly in the day which is huge for me. And they make the cutest mocktails!

Great place in Eugene for food. I had the Hawaiian rice bowl and it is a generous portion. People around me had burgers and fries and they were also very generous portions. Most entrees were between 15 and $20.

Pretty good burger but not up to the hype. Lots of variety on the menu. Small tap list. Outdoor seating available. Good overall but not great.

Amazing Bloody Mary, amazing cheese Curds and bacon veggie burger. Fun place, great outdoors seating options. Beer selection is high quality, many mixed drinks options, and menu is extremely excellent with so many options. High quality food, and huge portions. I highly recommend Cornucopia, and can't wait to go back again next time I'm in Eugene.

So I ordered a Hawaiian bowl from here for a to go order. & Although it looked beautiful, there was like 3 small pieces of chicken in the whole bowl which is really disappointing considering I paid $20 for it. I know some veggies, rice, and pineapple doesn’t cost $20.

Pretty good. Pretzel + cheese was just ok, cheese was pretty bland. The burger saved the day and was so good! Perfect size to split with someone for a nice lunch. Great outdoor seating with nice umbrellas for shade.

Best burger I have had so far in all my years in coming to Oregon! They give you a load of any side you order. If you want to have something that isn't the burger get the chicken pot pie!

Fun restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Good drink selection and full menu.. We hail from Wisconsin and can definitely confirm their "Curd is the word" burger and cheese curds are on point! After reading other reviews, I ordered the macaroni and cheese for myself. As a self proclaimed connoisseur of mac and cheese, I'd say it's good, but not anything special. Would definitely come here again.

I got taken out for my birthday. Fish tacos were wonderful, wine good, too. The other gals liked their meal too. So happy birthday was a good day.

Cornucopia is one of my favorite places to grab a burger & beer! They have 3 restaurants in the Eugene/Springfield area. The only one I've visited is the one on 5th street but I plan on trying their other locations. They're known for their burgers but they have a variety of items on their menu. On our recent visit, I ordered the Scooter's Patty Melt and my wife had a salad. The patty melt was very yummy and filling. This is the first time I try it, and I'd recommend it if you're looking for something with sautéed onions, Swiss cheese, and 1000 island dressing. If you're looking for a more traditional burger, I'd go for the Jeros Bacon Cheese! That one is sooo good. If you're feeling a little adventurous, go for the Aloha! A burger with grilled pineapple, beef patty, coleslaw, and teriyaki sauce? Yes please!!! My wife said the salad was good too, but I didn't get to personally try it. I really like this place because they have vegetarian and vegan options as well. Their beer selection changes every so often but there's always something good to try. The service here has always been great. The last time we went, there were a couple of things that didn't go so smoothly, but our server was attentive and made sure we were acknowledged and taken care of when possible. The way I see it, things aren't always perfect, but great customer service goes a long way in keeping loyal clients (especially during COVID times). This is a place I would recommend if you're looking for drinks and grub where you don't want to leave hungry. Their portions are good and their prices reflect that. They also have happy hour AND daily specials! Check out their website to find out what those deals are. Currently have indoor seating AND outdoor seating. When we sat outside on a cold afternoon, they had a small portable heater for us. Give this place a shot if you're looking for somewhere new to try out! Things I like: - Burgers (my favorite is the Aloha) - Beer selection - Staff - Happy Hour & Daily Specials - Seating options Things I'd Like To See Improve/Change: - They didn't have Malibu rum when we asked for it. Not sure if they were out or just don't carry it. Malibu seems like it's becoming a bit more popular, maybe get a few bottles? Tip: The train passes by right next to this restaurant, so if you're sensitive to loud noises, consider sitting inside. I love the sound of the train, so it doesn't bother me...but it's loud if you're outside!

Great food, great service, great happy hour! As a Wisconsonite, they may need some help with their cheese curds... or should I say cheesecurd, singular. 😂

Fantastic burger! I remembered having a burger at Cornucopia about 12 years ago and being very impressed, had a business associate come to town and ask for a really good burger and I remembered that burger 12 years ago and took him here. We were not disappointed. I had the mushroom swiss burger and the fries were crispy and excellent as well. Would highly recommend.

Came here strictly for dessert and i can definitely say dessert is not their specialty. We ordered the cheesecake, brownie, and the rice crispy. The cheesecake was dry. The brownie and rice crispy were hard. The table was suuuper sticky, so sticky that the napkins stuck to the table. It was a little disgusting. My brother and his gf ordered dinner and it was delicious af. Their Wasabi ranch whatever was amazing. And the server was supet sweet. So there's that. I like to give people 2nd chances so hopefully next time the table is clean and the dessert is better. Definitely ordering food next time too.
