I went to LovaKava for dinner a few days ago with my husband and daughter. It was our first time in but we were dying to go. The atmosphere was very quiet and inviting, there was another family there playing a board game, many people chilling at the bar or having quiet conversations over glasses of kombucha and kava. We ordered from their small and simple menu. All three of us have different preferences and there were plenty of things we each wanted to try. My husband ordered the beyond burger, I ordered the mushroom stroganoff and my daughter ordered a smoothie and chips and salsa. We played Cards Against Humanity while we waited for our food next to a cute little fireplace heater. There were many games to choose from. We tried many of the kombucha flavors that were on tap as well. The service was kind and efficient. The food is cooked in a small kitchen that is visible to everyone in the restaurant and filled the small but spacious restaurant with delicious, mouth-watering smells. The food is served fresh and piping hot as soon as it’s plated. My stroganoff was so creamy and flavorful I had to share with my husband and daughter. It was so rich and perfect that I’m still dreaming about it days later! My husband’s burger was well-done as he asked for it and the vegan cheesy sauce was so good. The salsa seemed like it was freshly made right before they gave it to my daughter and it was so pretty and fresh. LovaKava is definitely a special little gem in Eugene that anybody, vegan or not, will enjoy and everyone should try! It would be the perfect romantic date spot but also a great family place. I feel confident that the food is healthy but also so delicious. It really feeds your soul. I’ll be going back! Next time I want to try the kava! I love having this unique vegan restaurant near the heart of downtown Eugene and I’m so happy with our experience there. Thank you! 💜👌🏼

What a cool place. It’s decorated tastefully with plenty of places to sit. The menu is seasonal (thus always changing) and food items are bought locally. Both of the dishes we had were extremely delicious! The kombucha on tap (6+ varieties) was awesome too! The general manager was very friendly and told us all about her creating the recipes and her background in the food industry. Definitely check this place out!

I can’t believe it’s not meat! The food here is so good! My wife and I aren’t vegan, but we try to eat healthy. This where we go on our date nights. I They rotate their menu to keep up with the fresh seasonal produce, but there is always a curry, a burger and a Mexican dish and some other stuff we haven’t tried yet. My wife always gets the curry and is in heaven. I have tried the burger, a tostada (last night), and of course, the curry. Everything I’ve tried is exquisite, the chefs are so good. Plus they have 15 or so taps for fresh local kombucha and jun. They also make kava and mate, which is honestly not my cup of tea.

Vegan food. As a lifelong carnivore I decided to give it a shot. Was pretty good, had the vegan burger. Hippy place. Help was very friendly. Will be back.

This place was awesome. I feel good from the kava tea I drank. My son loved his hot chocolate. The man who I assume is the owner and I think his name was John, was very knowledgeable. He was also very fun and engaging. He was pleasant to me and my child. I will definitely go back. It is premium kava. The kava relaxes you for sure. You can still function, but you feel more relaxed than before. Also, the decor is amazing. It's a very eclectic feel between trendy and Oregon.

The food selection was limited but yummy! The side salads were especially good and beautifully presented. The kabucha was good but the kava was terrible in our opinion.

Such a chill environment with fantastic vegan food! A great selection of kombucha both regular and CBD, and an amazing crew! <3

Great staff. Relaxing environment. Kava was strong and amazing. They even have board games to play. Drink here or fill a growler to go!
