Local Ingredients prepared and presented in a most unique way Charred brocollini Ceasar salad that I could smell being prepared Prosciutto and fontina stuffed pork chop on Cheesy grits with a glaze, scallion, and hazelnut garnish. Followed up with dessert beignet.

Cozy, great ambience. The food was excellent; we had Mac & Cheese, Shrimp & Grits, and Fried Chicken. Get there early to snag a spot!

This place was fantastic! The aesthetic is so well curated and the staff were all super friendly. The menu has so many of my favorite dishes so I'll definitely have to come back for more. The food was cooked to perfection and the cocktail I had was well balanced. So glad we found this place. Definitely recommend if you're looking for the whole experience when dining out.

Kensi I hope I spelled your name correctly. Needs a raise. She was making our bar experience turn into a great time out. Score on the crab beignets and even though the slushy hurricane isn't Patty Os it was still quality and we will be back. Let the good times roll. Thanks for all the hospitality. Cheers 🥂 ChrisJenn$!

Quirky southern style food with a good atmosphere and chill vibe. We came on a Saturday and made the mistake of not having a reservation so we waiting an hour for a table but were able to walk to a nearby venue for a drink while we waited. We got two cocktails — one being the frozen hurricane which took my back to my New Orleans days! The fried chicken sandwich had a great flavor and was big enough for leftovers. The Nashville chicken, as warned, was hot hot but also had wonderful flavor too. I’d definitely come back for cocktails and dinner but make a reservation in the future!

Desserts were so delicious, ans their Rose cocktail too. We came for dessert, had some tasty coffee and a Strawberry shortcake, beignets and key lime pie. Nice little spot for after dinner outing. I've has their food too, so good. I distinctly remember having an amazing chicken sammich. They forgot the cornbread but I didn't want it by the time we asked for the check. Took a whole to get ordered and they weren't busy at all, but maybe there were some things going on that we were unaware of,

Oh my goodness!! Everything we had was amazing! The kids loved the Carolina reaper honey butter with the biscuits. The biscuits were fluffy and moist. The Mac & Cheese was super cheesy deliciousness! Our whole family agreed that the truffle fries were the best fries we've had (and we've been traveling the western states for the past 6 months!). We all ended up scarfing down the fries and now have the rest of our meals as leftovers! Hands down one of the best meals we've had in Eugene. Can't wait to come back!

Update: Owner reached out with an explanation below. AND even though it was a mistake, the food was still delicious! Glad to say we’ll be back to the Wolf. So to start, we have been here many times and ordered to go many times as well. Unfortunately today was incredibly disappointing! Over $40 for 2 little pieces of chicken, a biscuit, and some Brussels sprouts with parm. If the owners want to continue to garner are support and business hopefully they will respond to this review with an explanation as to why by this happened!

This place had a vintage, edgy charm to it. Everything that came to our table was tops. Warm kale laced with pine nuts and shaved parm was delicious. Crab beignets were a treat and fried chicken was all the comfort I needed for a week! Try the homemade almond, lemonade soda. Omg! A must stop.

What a great atmosphere. The Hostess was great, the Bar Tender was super friendly and fun. The Chef came out and was super friendly. The drinks were great. The hush puppies were great. The chicken was great. Literally everything in this place was fantastic. I hope to be on a first name basis with everyone who works here. Seriously one of the best restaurant experiences in Eugene. It honestly is probably to good for a town this size.

I had the fried chicken, which had collards and mashed potatoes, oh, and the best biscuit. I should have ordered o ly one piece of chicken because the key lime pie was excellent and we couldn't finish it. The drinks were pretty, too. There were two of us, 2 drinks and one dessert, and the bill was about 120$. I'd still go back here

Atmosphere was very casual. Food was not bad with Cajun twist to entire menu; Grits, gumbo, fried chicken etc. We had a party of seven. My wife's meal came out well after we all had our food. Gumbo was good. Beware of spice levels! Some dishes were beyond normal spicy hot.

Interesting vibes here. Not sure exactly what they are but they're Interesting none the less. The bar has a good selection of high end and obscure spirits but expect to open yp your pocketbook if you want to try some. Air conditioning was not super cold which isn't ideal. The crab appetizer was very tasty. The dinner items were hit and miss. The jumbo Gumbo was delicious and probably the best dinner item we tried. The ribs were definitely different not sure if I would get them again. Same with the corn bread. Shrimp and grits was good not great. The shaved roots salad was super earthy tasting if you're into that sort of thing. Overall it was pretty good but not great.

The food was delicious! We shared the hushpuppies, which were amazing, and I also loved the crab beignet. We both decided on the fried chicken. It was very good, but the biscuits were the star of the show! We also had a few drinks, lol! These included the hurricane slushie, which was not my favorite. However, the hibiscus drink was on point, and my friend really enjoyed the blue cocktail with black salt on the rim (Black Magic?). The creme brulee for dessert was absolutely divine and perfectly caramelized. We both felt that the service was a little slow at first, but other than that, everything was great.

Food was great Southern style cooking. Had the gumbo. Very tasty. Was with a group, so tried the hush puppies and crab beniets as well yum! My gumbo didn't come until everyone else was done with their meal, but my wife talked to the manager and he comped us both our food. We just paid the alcohol bill. I would go back to try the spicy chicken.

Love their new menu with clearly labeled gf items. We never went before because the menu seemed gluten-ful previously. I had the shrimp and grits, which were prolly the best I've ever had... the cilantro lime sauce on top... yum! Partner had the gluten-ful fried chicken, which looked amazing. We started with the bacon wrapped dates, which were also delicious!

Good food, friendly and helpful staff, but way overpriced. $30-$40 a person. Great hush puppies and bengies, though!

This was some of the best food I've ever gotten. It was a phenomenal experience, great customer service, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. It's not a super formal place but if you're going wear something semi-formal. They do change their menu occasionally, so be prepared to look over the menu every time you go.

This was a quaint little eatery near by the Hult Cendet the weather was perfect so we ate outside. It was southern style food that was delicious. We had some supisingly good apitisers the corn ribs were way better than I expected. We loved the green beans. My daughter had a massive and delicious sicken sandwich. My wife had some spice fried fish that was really tasty they both came with the truffle fries and these were something special. I Habs a generous portion of the gumbo it had the perfect balance of heat with amazing flavors. Overall all it was an amazing expirence . We really enjoyed the eclectic group of servers that helped us all very patient and kind. Highly recommend giving Black Wolf a try.

Was definitely worth the wait. Found out about this place while looking for chicken and waffles. But they didn’t open for another 40 minutes. Their chicken is amazing on its own and the waffle is a cornmeal waffle with jalapeño in it. Absolutely delicious. Stellar cocktails as well. Great service and lots of sweet skate gear up on the walls as well as some cool art.

Food was good but portions were very large and don’t reheat well so make sure you only order what you can eat. Atmosphere is ok but tables are super packed.

The food was terrific! I don't eat out often but it was my birthday and I was really missing Papa's Soul Food. I looked on Yelp and found Black Wolf Supper Club. They had everything I was looking for except the cornbread. (Hint, hint, please add to the sides) We got chicken and New Orleans style shrimp with an extra order of biscuits and elote on the side. We also got the Mac n cheese for the non meat eater in the house. Everything had a delicious spicy touch to it. Even the biscuits, and the honey butter made me moan. They gave us plenty and I slathered some on homemade yams that I had popped into the oven to go along with everything else. Unfortunately, it was too spicy for the kids except for the chicken, which they happily devoured.

This is my absolute favorite place. Literally anything you order is perfection. Let me start by saying I am from the south and these people know how to fry chicken and make biscuits. It’s absolute heaven. I have been hard pressed to find a proper biscuit in the north but these guys nail it. I live in Corvallis so I don’t find myself in Eugene often but when I do, I come here every time. I should also mention it would not hurt my feelings at ALL if the Black Sunshine cocktail found it’s way back onto the menu as it’s one of my absolute favorites. Shady Lady was great though, too. You really can’t go wrong with anything here. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

I came here a few months ago and was honestly disgusted by one of their appetizers. Their crab beignets were just flat out bad. it was hard as a rock and tasted like a ball of tempura mix. It was honestly so sad. It also doesn't help that the dish costs $15. They should just take it off the menu. I like the environment and their fried chickens wasn't that bad (just greasy)
