Amy, the manager was very rude, passive aggressive, kept on harassing us, because I did not put up with her rudeness and put her in her place. She refused to deal with me the rest of the night, and also kept on making mean and rude faces to me, and acting like a child, so unprofessional. Kept on sticking her tongue out and acting like a child that didn’t get her way. The only reason why I put up with it was because I was there with a couple friends that invited me to their party didn’t want to embarrass them, but I would never recommend to come to that place the other worker that was a young lady, was very polite, and very nice and was so professional. She save the night for us. She kept on on orders. The orders came out right when she did it and was very nice.

Delicious! Small selection by the slice, more full pizzas, respectable choices for beers, served under a large vaulted ceiling with beautiful murals adorning the walls. There's also a stage for everything from science lectures to comedy. The "sound guy" is spot-on. I actually haven't seen music there, but presumably they have it occasionally.

Pretty disappointing for the price. Pizza was average. Toppings on single slices are 0.50$ each (paid 0.50$ for 8 or so sliced black olives). Pepperoni is a tad spicy, and I like heat, but of course my kiddo doesn't. Got the "Blooming artichoke". Wish I would have taken a pic, it's a pizza crust, cut and twisted to resemble a flower (?), with a smear of artichoke dip in the middle. Was over baked (burnt bottom). Staff forgot part of our order, when asked they pretty much said ... not their problem and asked if we wanted to reorder the item. I'd give less than one star just based on the customer service. 40$ for 3 slices, a "blooming artichoke", beer, and 2 sodas...

Excellent service, a good selection of beers and ciders and just a cool pizza joint. I had the Charnelton which was covered in toppings all the way to the edge. The crust is hand tossed and was not chewy.

Went to see a comedy show here. The comedy was great, the venue was way way sub par. The location had no A/c , 1 fan , the kitchen was extremely loud, louder than a comedian with a microphone, the beer and food line was ridiculous and the service was extremely slow. The 1 hour pizza was lackluster. The chairs were set up in really long lines with no center isle.... the show appeared to be oversold, there were so many people without seats. I will never see another show at this venue, and I'd be very surprised if Steve Hofstadter booked his show at this venue ever again.

Awesome venue for local eclectic music groups. Good pizza by the slice and by the pie! Nice bar seating in with plenty to choose from. Come on and enjoy the unique architecture.

🤩 WOW 🤩 GREAT PIES AMAZING ATMOSPHERE & FUN PEOPLE! “Mistakenly” fell into an amazing experience including a live pianist with an amazing voice & talent ( Chris ) Great menu, inviting atmosphere and a great time. Met fun members of my community that are likeminded and beautiful. Stop in for a slice, stay for the experience!

I love the warm, comfortable, friendly atmosphere of Whirled Pies and their yummy pizza and salads! I always enjoy spending time there listening to live music or seeing a dance show with friends. The staff is awesome! Thank you for being host to MEDGE's monthly dance shows for many years!

Cost extra for a tiny watered down ranch, the marinara was awful. Tasted like it Italian herb spice was added to plain canned tomato sauce. Chewy tough crust and barely any cheese on the pizza.

Worst experience I have ever had. The pizza was burnt. I ordered a meat pizza and there was hardly any meat on it. The cashier/waitress was rude. She ignored us while we were ordering, gave us dirty looks when placing our food on the table, and threw our togo order on table. I wish I could leave no stars if I could. We went there to have a nice meal and left filling ripped off.

The food is actually fantastic, but the daily recorded music over the speakers (NOT the live music) is too loud, and the employees can't turn it down because the manager won't let them. I feel sorry for the staff. Even though I just live down the street, I don't go there hardly at all because it's so loud, but the employees have to listen to that every day they go to work.

I am typically a fan of this place but they took over 30 minutes tonight to give me my pesto slice + Caesar salad and when I got home to eat it, it is not what I ordered at all. I’m so confused and mad I paid money for dinner and can’t even eat it. Pizza slice is not what I ordered and the salad is some weird type of bread with fish on it….?

Forgot to put my order in and didn’t charge for it, but we hadn’t noticed because the bill had multiple orders on it. Didn’t find out until everyone’s order came out. They offered to charge for it and make it however the rest of the party was already almost finished eating at that point. The proper way to have handled this was to at least offered to make it and NOT charge for that order. Sitting here hungry and annoyed. Will most likely not return if this is how they handle their mistakes.

Lucky us. On our way to dine at an old fave, we were sad to find that "Vintage Restaurant" was closed for good. We came out of the alleyway and stumbled onto what will become another downtown favorite, Whirled Pies. Very downtown funky with a full service bar and a varied menu. The young man at the piano, Branten, has some serious jazz 🎺 chops. If you are lucky you will catch him.

Food was good... but when paying $5-$7 for a slice, you would expect more than 3 tiny pieces of pulled pork and 2 pieces of onion on a slice. Very skimpy on toppings. One of the bartenders seemed a little intoxicated as well. Lots of different price points for the same drink. Eat before you go and it's a great time.

I ordered 10/30/23 and got a Stromboli that arrived burnt beyond recognition. The “creamy garlic sauce” tastes like water and the ceasar salad came without dressing. I am NEVER ordering from here again. Don’t waste your money.

Whirled Pies is super kind to the artists that play there. The music is great, the room is great, the sound guys are on point, the pizza is amazing. Definitely come here as either a performer or a diner

Wonderful place to get a slice. They put a lot of love in their food and always have great service. Couldn't recommend them enough 🙂

Judging by the name, I was looking forward to getting a Pie pizza. However, there are none to be found here. Very disappointed. I went for the Mobster Grider instead. Served on hoagie Bread! Salami, pepperoni, ham, pepperoncini, mozzarella, and fresh romaine. Served with chips. One word sums it up. Pathetic! I could not even class this as a mediocre sub and copy $16. I will never go here again.

The service was good, we did a pick up order for a cheese pizza and cheesy bread. However the food was just mediocre to me. The sauce was acidic, the cheese was on sporadically which meant it didnt really balance out the sauce, but the saving grace was the crust which was actually pretty perfect. Then the cheesy bread which was supposed to be baked to a golden brown, didnt seemed to be baked at all which meant the raw garlic in the cream cheese was so loud because it didnt cook off. I think the potential is here with this place I just wouldn’t recommend the cheese.

The food is actually exceptional. They host events and their drinks are not to over priced. I had their pizza and aside from being slightly droopy in yhe middle to flavor was on point and you can make your own.

Great eclectic atmosphere and great staff! Only critique is the meat on my pizza was sparse. But gluten-free crust was delicious!

Tried a $7 slice at a catered summer concert in the park. 2 genuine Blodgett pizza ovens looked and smelled amazing. The skimpy slice with 3 dots of cheese was disappointing. A golden opportunity to attract a repeat customer to the restaurant for good food and music was lost. Buh-bye!

Great pizza! The staff were extremely pleasant and informative. The burger and fries were also top shelf and the porter beer was delicious. Highly recommend

Had to leave comedy show early due to heat stroke. You guys really need to have AC in there. Also you could hear ppl doing dishes in the back while the show was going on. Really uncool and probably not fair to the comedian and also the audience since they paid a lot of money to hear the show well. Please do something about that. Pizza and drinks were good though.

You just get your food and stuff from a walk up window in what used to be their front door. Outside seating or take away are the only options. The food is ok.

Hands down, the best pizza in town and believe me, I've tried them all during the pandemic. Bike delivery on point. Please tip generously if you can.

Really frustrating that there's no indication anywhere on their website that they're closed for renovations. Took kind of a long time to figure out what was going on, since the banner says "Open 7 days a week," and the only place that indicates it's closed for the time being is a Facebook post. Three stars anyway because I wouldn't be so frustrated if the food wasn't so good.
