Food was delicious. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for in flavors and quality. The breading in my fish sammich was perfect and crisp. The mussels were tasty and the baguette was fresh. I really liked the online ordering and paying. The waitstaff did a good job and were prompt. The cream soda and non alcoholic drinks were nice, with a great selection. My only major gripe, which was more of being unaware and not a blatant error, was the person cleaning tables was spraying too far out from their target so we got doused with cleaning solution several times being in the downwind and I breathed it in so all I could smell was that for quite a while. Maybe spray the rag or closer to the table so nearby folk don't get hit with it or get it in their food. I was happy to have outside seating so I could bring our pup. We're always well prepared, but was so nice they offered to get us a doggy water dish. They have lots of outside seating. I was super happy with the menu selection as well. Definitely will go back and will recommend to friends.

Dog friendly patio, have to enter in the back of the patio with the dog and the person checking in with the host has to go to the front inside of the large building. Varied, interesting menu. We got the cream ale, it was so good we got 2. The mussels in cream sauce was large and satisfying. The side salad for an extra charge of 2.00 turned out to be a wedge with several veggies that was unexpected and awesome. The fries are the hand cut style moist and crisp at the same time and perfectly salted. The half dozen oysters and the broiled oysters were nice and fresh. Also got the shrimp salad sandwich which was very fresh. The atmosphere outside was so park like and relaxing on the patio. Picnic tables and umbrellas in a circle so didn't feel like others were crowding you. Inside had lots of tables and an industrial feel. Very nice as well. They have their own parking lot and several buildings around them are also part of the brewery. You order and pay on the toast app making it quick and easy. This place is huge. Highly recommend.

A true vibe. There is a spot for everyone here! A huge space with cozy living room feels, a sports room with TVs, open air bar, table seating, an outdoor patio and upstairs space for a large gathering! Wide selection of their brews, cocktails, kombucha, and non alcoholic libations! Food features a fresh menu with restaurant quality for a brewery. Fresh oysters! Order using the QR code, and your food will be delivered to your table. Service is friendly and present. Full selection of beer to go that you can pickup on your way out.

Bf and I came here on a whim - I was pleasantly surprised by the building. It was open and airy and felt ‘elevated’. It was well decorated - there was a very functional layout to the space. It was clear that this was the common space for the office building before they opened it up -but very glad they did. It’s a great space for big groups. And can be great for day dates too! We had flights and food and everything was great! We had great servers who were friendly and super helpful with the menu. They were easy to talk to which is always nice when you’re sitting at the bar. Definitely would come back here!

First time in here, my wife & I came in after hiking up Spencer Butte. The space has a great vibe! It’s large, you can have your space. The look is rad. AMAZING & WELCOMING STAFF! Committed to COVID safety. Fantastic beers! Can’t wait to visit again!

Had a wonderful evening at the Better Living Room. The atmosphere was great and relaxing. I really loved the architecture around the bar area. The food was good, although I still don't quite know what to think about the pastrami pierogis. They almost had a gamey flavor to them and were like a meat and potato mash up inside. Don't think I'd order them again, but the rest of our food we loved. It was fun to taste a couple of the pilot batches and a few old favorites.

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food! We can't wait to go back and try more menu items!! We had the Salmon mousse, the Wedge salad, Brussels sprouts with whipped blue cheese. So good! Not pictured- the Mushroom melt and Blue cheese popcorn. Everything was really great!

In a word, Terrible! Minimal menu, poorly prepared food. Burger does not have tomato, lettuce, but does have american cheese! They've been here long enough to make an effort, so it's perplexing how bad it is.

Make sure you know EXACTLY where you are going, Ninkasi owns mutiple buildings on this block that are poorly labeled. Be prepared to seat yourself, order through an app at the table and be underwhelmed by the quality of food that comes out. Had I known the veggie burger was a huge baked yam patty with no greens and a greasy bun overloaded with cheese, or that the salmon caper salad meant small FLAKES of dried salmon and a caper DRESSING I wouldn't have ordered either of them. The over all space is really cool, it's dog friendly, the experience was interesting at most. Seems mostly like an expensive place to bring your kids to day drink, when you walk in it looks like a daycare. 🤷‍♀️

When you walk into the Ninkasi Better living room you feel the 70s vibe from the chairs to the lava lamps. It’s a much more welcoming environment than the typical industrial factory with some tables and chairs that many breweries have. We sat outside and there were umbrellas for every table. The food is good and I recommend the pretzel with Gouda dipping sauce. There is a great selection of Ninkasi beers many not available at your grocery store or bottle shop. The flights of beer really give you a chance to try a few different flavors. Each beer on the flight came with an info card listing the flavors, hops used, and grains. Really good info for beer nerds. A major step up from other breweries I’ve been to where you get five beers and a piece of wood with some cryptic markings of what each beer is.

An excellent outdoor dining area with a good menu and a wide selection of beer (of course), ciders and wine. The food was fresh and quick to be served and the fried fish sandwich was very good and huge (pictured). It is a great spot in Eugene to stop for lunch or dinner and all the staff were very friendly and practiced very safe service with full masking and safe distancing.

First time in this classy new brewpub restaurant. Food was great! Beer was great! Tyler was super friendly and attentive. The decor reminds me of the Guinness Brewhouse in Dublin Ireland.

My husband and I ate at The Better Living Room recently and had a great time. When I called to check the wait time, I was asked if I wanted to make a reservation. I was able to make one and reserve a table, but the hostess kindly recommended seats at the bar instead as they were more comfortable and roomy than the high top we had reserved. (I was warned of this when I booked.) We had a great evening. While they don't have many vegetarian options currently (my husband had the wedge salad), we knew that going in. I had the mussels and frites, and was pleasantly delighted that the mussels were well cleaned and did not have any sand particles. We felt very welcomed by the staff and really enjoyed our evening out. Thank you!

We had a great dinner here a few weeks ago. Their salad was flavourful and not overdressed, and the chicken was tender. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and his refreshment. We will be returning.

We first went here the other day for lunch and had a wonderful meal and wonderful service. Our waiter (young man with red hair) was delightful. He even took our order the old fashioned way without us having to use the QR code thing. The outside area is one of the best in town. Very pleasant! The pastrami perogies were amazing and the cod sandwich was huge and very good. It's was a different visit last night. We took some friends to show them how wonderful it was and when we first walked in, the hostess (woman with curly hair) was very perturbed that we didn't have a reservation and showed her dissatisfaction with us. Maybe she was having a bad day but it didn't start our visit off well. Heather, our waitress, was wonderful and so was the bartender. The food was, again, amazing. We had the mussels and burgers and fries. Funny that for lunch, I asked if they had anything to drink besides beer because I don't care for beer and they said just seltzer. But last night they had wine - is this only offered at night? I was very glad they had wine and at a great price too. I closed out the tab with the QR thing because the hostess who sat us told us we HAD to use that so we slogged out way through registering and ordering . One of our friends decided he wanted another glass of wine so the hostess was near and we asked if we could just pay cash and order the wine the old fashioned way - she said NO you cannot, you have to use the QR thing. So, we didn't get anymore wine. We asked Heather and she apologized and said, of course we can get another glass of wine without using the QR. But, by that time we were ready to go. So what is the story, do you allow ordering the "old fashioned way" or is it just with the QR thing? So all in all we are very pleased and will definitely return but please let people order however they want. You will lose business being SO STRICT about this. It does seem that only the hostess was the strict one though. Maybe you should ask her to not be so strict about it. It was almost like she was reprimanding us for asking. Thank for this beautiful spot to enjoy your wonderful food, beer and wine!!!

The watermelon seltzer and banana beer were delicious! Also loved the pretzel with mustard. They have dog friendly seating outside. Loved the industrial-style/retro interior design.
