Epic dinner last night at this cute mediterranean joint in Eugene. The Salmon special and the Prawns Naseem just blew my mind. We totally had food envy too. Next time I’m definitely going to try the Steak Diane.

Always delicious and high quality. The staff are attentive and kind. The selection for wine is unparalleled in quality and variety. One of my favorite spots in all of Lane County. The chef is friendly and vested in his work. The Steak Diane was perhaps the most tender steak I have ever eaten, and was a perfect Med-Rare just like I requested.

I came with low expectations thinking i was going to find the typical Mediterranean food. Happens to be I found a 6 star restaurant. I choose the Steak Diane and i can honestly say that it is the best stake ever. Andrea was the best host that i have ever been served by. She is amazing, energetic, friendly and speaks great Spanish. I highly recommend this location. Great food, great fancy atmosphere and yet very affordable. You will not regret coming here.

This food experience was on a middle of the week low for me. I don't know if there was a second string Cook, but it was just not the home run I had hoped for. It was our 20th anniversary and I was hoping for just a little bit better flavor than what I was served. Maybe I just choose poorly for a Wednesday. My wife's lamb and vegatables were under done too.

Excellent! Food and service are top notch. We both got the Steak Dianna- highly recommend! The salads were great, the drinks even better! Everyone should give this place a try 😃

This place surprised me. Exceptionally good food in taste and quality! My husband and I are both gluten-free. I ordered the Steak Diane, which I highly recommend! He ordered the rack of lamb. I don't like lamb normally however his dish was surprisingly good! Now, it's a month later and I am salivating for this places food, again, including the rack of lamb! Will definitely be going back! Highly recommend this place! Update: This place still surprises me at how truly high quality their ingredients are for each dish along with the best tasting dishes. They rotate their menu seasonally with some main staples that stick around year long such as the steak Diane.

Surprisingly large place with plenty of small seating areas. Nice service. Incredible portions of food. The Steak Diane was of course, as described by other reviewers - flavoursome and rich. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, but we will forgive that since everything else was so nice. My son has a hearty appetite and he couldn’t finish his steak. The appetizers were great for sharing.

This is one our favorite restaurants to celebrate special occasions. The ambiance is classy, but laid back. The food is always delicious and the staff is always welcoming.

I love Cafe Soriah! Most recently we tried the salmon de jour and the lamb chops. The salmon was perfect but I would not recommend the lamb chops. It's hard to eat ans the pieces are most bone and fat.

Well-prepared & served, very tasty. Lamb curry (a seasonal menu item) fabulous. Bar is well-stocked with quality libations. Nice, visual dessert menu. Wait staff attentive without being too much so. Will definitely be back. Reservations recommended.

Don't miss out on this gem! Make sure to get reservation because they fill up fast. We loved the innovative and varietals of some European classics with a Mediterranean vibe. The Steak Diane and Chicken Fricassee were absolutely divine. Well seasoned, flavorful, and kept you wanting more. This place is well worth it for a date night, a foodie adventure,or just a change of pace. Worth it!

In Google reviews, we were looking for a nice Mediterranean restaurant, and WOW, did we ever find a fantastic one. Cafe Soriah is such a wonderful experience. Everything was great, and I am not kidding. The Calimari was cooked to perfection. The breading so carefully spiced and exoit flavors abound. Lemon burst from the dish along with the capers, and this is the first time we ate Calimari without any sauces. Our main courses prepared by Chef Abrahim, a bona fide culinary artis, worked his magic from his patio side culinary station. Flaming Steak Diane, Tombo Tuna, and many other dishes. Flaming desserts are not to be missed. The entire staff was very attentive and super friendly. I feel Soriah is a great value. Eugene, OR, is very lucky to have such a treasure.

Great restaurant! The owner Ib is a long time restauranteer here in Eugene. Excellence is the standard. The Steak Diane is always amazing. This is certainly the best Mediterranean spot in Eugene as far as i am concerned. The staff do their jobs well, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The cocktails and wine selections are plentiful. Wonderful place to be enjoying a fine meal. Highly recommended!

Very special place, a mix of Indian, Mediterranean, French . Everything prepared very home made and special. Table bread and trio appetizer are a must! Steak Diane is a to go always .

Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong did. I placed an online order early in the day on a Thursday. I followed instructions and just to make sure, called the restaurant around 3:45. I was told that "the bartender" would call me between 4:00 & 4:30. I was also told (by the owner?) that the dessert I ordered couldn't be had but the rest of my order would be ready by 5:15. I never received a call from anyone and at 5:00 I called the restaurant again. I was told that my food order had been sitting there, waiting to be picked up "for awhile". I wonder how long they were willing to let it sit there. I had no interest in eating cold leftovers, and relayed this to the server on the phone. She said she was sorry. Me too. I have never had a meal at Soriah, even though I've lived in Eugene all of my life. I've only heard good things about the owner, (even met him once long ago) and his recipes. Very disappointed. I would love to try getting take-out from here again, or just make a reservation to dine in, but my husband and I wasted over 2 hours trying to get dinner and ultimately ordered from another restaurant which serves great cuisine with great service, on a consistent basis. I don't want to give Soriah a low star rating because I believe the owner surely has earned his wonderful reputation, but I can't possibly know firsthand, whether the food really deserves it. I only know that if I had spent upward of $100, only to find the food cold and unappetizing, I would have been more than disappointed. I would welcome the chance to have the owner speak to me about this, if he has the time, of course. Fast forward to today. After a very kind phone call from the owner, we were given a complimentary meal to make up for all the mistakes made yesterday. A very generous offer. I appeared at the correct time to pick up the meal which was the same as ordered yesterday. I brought it home, and I have to say (husband agreed) that it was easily the very best food we have had anywhere, possibly ever. Totally worth inconvenience from the previous day. I believe this establishment may be suffering from all the usual problems in the industry today....spiraling costs, labor issues, etc. Even so, Ibrahim Hamide's dishes have stood the test of time and we are immensely grateful to have gotten a chance to sample such unique and delicious food. I only wish I had visited earlier in his career. Truly fine cuisine, very much worth experiencing. Thank you!

The food was very tasty. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The experience was that of a $20 per person dinner, not a $50 per person dinner. It’s vibe is that of a dive bar. The service was nothing special and slightly awkward. The place needs a complete renovation and the bathrooms smell like pee. Even though the food was tasty, I won’t be going back.

Cafe Soriah did not disappoint. Everything was cooked perfectly and the drinks were delicious. We were celebrating so we got two appetizers and each got an entree - the portions were large enough that we each took half our entree home. We will come back here for our next celebration dinner!

Loved this place! Get the Calamari, the Steak Diane and the Lavender Chocolate Cake. But all of it was good. Pleasant helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. I’d say this is a must visit if you are in Eugene.

Nice food, we tried the steak diane and the lamb chops. The restaurant's elegant ambiance, dimly lit with soft, warm tones is great for dinner dates. Has knowledgeable staff who guided us through the menu with expert recommendations.

Took my lady there for her birthday. We had the chicken skewers. Half Cesar salads and the ribeye and it was on of the best dinners I've had in my 45 years. Highly recommend this place

This place was AWESOME! I’m so glad I decided to walk here and enjoy this restaurant. I sat at the bar, the website recommends reservations and being alone I almost didn’t come here, I guess I’d reserve if you are in a small group. The drinks were amazing, the food was spectacular. I really enjoyed myself here. The complementary bread was delicious. I bought an extra loaf of the molasses walnut bread to take home. I would frequent this place weekly if I lived in Eugene. I’ve never had better duck. The dolmas are to die for! Highly recommend this place!!!

We arrived early on Saturday night without a reservation and were graciously and immediately served at the bar. The meal was perfectly cooked and completely delicious. The kitchen was able to accommodate my tomato allergy. It was fun to watch the bartender make all the pretty drinks. Romantic last minute choice. The only thing I would change would be to have a chocolate gluten-free dessert option. Thank you. We’ll be back.

We got reservations to sit on their beautiful patio. All of our meals were great but the steak diane is the best! The owner cooks it in front of you and you can cut it with a fork. After all of us were full, they had to bring the dessert tray around. We caved and ordered 3 different ones to share. All amazing!

Wow! Blown away by the warmth and atmosphere of this great place! We were seated on the patio, had the greatest dinner ever. Our waitress Michelle was awesome and the owner greeted us as well. Great value for what you get.

The atmosphere was nice. The food was superb. The chef came out to check on how our food was. This restaurant would be an excellent choice for a romantic date night experience.

Didn't see the owner (this time) but still a great experience and the food was fire 🔥 Steak Diane lived up to to hype and I wasn't disappointed. The Salmon De Jour was perfect and of course I love their bread. Left happy and full. One of my favorite restaurants. They have a good selection of cocktails too!

Very friendly staff and the food is extremely flavorful. The owner even came out to say hello. The portions are very generous but be sure to save room for dessert, because it is amazing.
