Horrible ownership and policies. Food is okay, not worth the hassle of service and billing. This is the second time they have increased the amount of people in our party to force a 20-25% gratuity. Which would be fine at a 5* restaurant or with good service/food. Not to mention we found out that the server is not even getting the full gratuity. Restaurant is unchanging and not giving 100% of the tip to the severs. That is bogus, please chose another restaurant with better ownership and better policies for their customers and workers!

Our server was good natured and worked with our questions and decision paralysis. My sushi roll was delicious, but the pieces were cut too big to comfortably eat. However, I feel like the amount of roll and taste were worth the price. I'll try asking them to cut it smaller next time and see what happens. The edemame had a PILE of salt on it, which was too much! The calamari serving was generous and tender.

We went to Sushi Seoul for a day date. We had never been to the restaurant but were very pleased from the start. We sat at the Sushi Bar and chatted with the Sushi Chef Steve while he prepared out and others sushi. The service was phenomenal. We ordered some Spicy Edemame, Kalbi (Korean Short Ribs), a Spider Roll, a Caterpillar Roll, a Dragon Roll, and a California Roll. The sushi was fresh and tasted great. The Kalbi was hot off the grill tasty. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience for a lunch date with my wife. It was a 5 star experience all around.

Food was so - so. Worth the happy hour price. Sushi menu was a lot of repeat of itself with slight variations. Waitress was inattentive and then when she brought the wrong thing (due to her not communicating my food allergy to the kitchen) the management tried to make us pay. They said it was safe. Maybe it was. They didn't have proof and we were turned off at that point by service from all.

Great spot for sushi in downtown. Super friendly staff and a huge menu. The fried rolls are amazing. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar and letting the chef guide your way. Also they are open until 11 so great for a late night bite

It's a rarity that I leave a negative review being a business owner myself. However the customer service we experienced this evening was unacceptable. Two of us came in 45 minutes before they close to grab a couple sushi rolls and we got turned away because they want to be out right at 11 when they close. There were plenty of people still sitting in there and we would have been respectful and left by 11. Afterall it doesn't take long to prepare and eat sushi. We know how it is when people come in last minute to our shop, but we are still happy to take them! I could understand if we came in 20 minutes before close, but 45 mins?! Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

Love the atmosphere of the place, and I haven't had anything I didn't like from there. This time, I ordered Tukpokki to go! The rice cake is tender and easy to chew, and the ramen with the hard-boiled egg halves top it off right! It's definitely a good one with the right amount of heat 😋

Would highly recommend! Underrated wonderful spot. I have been to Sushi Soul several times to dine in and now take out in the last 2 years, I have never had a bad experience. The sushi is always consistent and very well priced, the service is wonderful for dine in and take out, and the drinks (Saké specially) are worth a happy hour trip to come try! The prices are insanely good. Went before going to the Hult Center and it was a short easy walk. Got take out tonight for Christmas and it’s top notch.

When they were by Sheldon was my favorite place to go. New location awesome. Love the atmosphere. The couple that owns it are the nicest people. Going back soon for Korean BBQ.

One of my favorite sushi places in Eugene. Great atmosphere with cute decor, they have a large menu that caters to even non sushi eaters. Sushi is very tasty and priced reasonably for sushi.

Really good sushi place. Happy hour was great with the California rolls and $1 sake shots. Atmosphere was great, along with the food. Great location downtown, so it's a good place to go to after a long day out on the town. The interior decoration stands out as being a little chique but it fits the attitude of the rest of Eugene.

Ive been to this place two times. Sushi itself is okay nothing special. My second time I ordered a ramen and korean Tteokbokki. The ramen broth had very little to no flavor. Not spicey even though it was claimed to be spicy. Noodles weren't impressive, almost thought they were ramen packaged noodles. the Tteokbokki was the more like soup with ricecakes for $14. I have had this dish many times before and I have never had it so runny and flavor was not there.

Terribly rude. I ordered delivery and when it got here all of my sushi rolls were crammed into one box and the cold rolls were warm as they were smashed against the fried rolls. When I called and asked if they would make the cold rolls for me again the woman said no, and that it was my fault I didn't ask for 2 boxes.

Wonderful place for a girls night! My sister, mother, and I ate here last night and had a wonderful time. The lady servers were awesome, the music was groovin', and the food was unequivocally bussin'. I highly recommend the salmon crown roll.

Food came out way too fast. Two rolls and shrimp tempura. Less than 10 minutes. The tempura was not fresh and had obviously been left sitting under a warming light. The “smoked salmon” in the McKenzie rolls was flaked canned salmon. Hardly any filling, mostly rice. And not even sushi grade rice. Service was friendly, but the food is awful. Go to Sushi Pure instead.

Ordered some ramen online and it took almost an hour to pick up, when they stated it was 25 min wait. They got both of the orders wrong: wrong broth, forgot vegetables and NO seafood in "seafood ramen". Called the manager and she refused to refund. Was rude and did not care. Would not recommend the food or service.

Only reason I gave it a lower rating is they are unable to make an Irish Coffee. No big deal. In the evening it is quiet, food is reasonable priced and service staff are friendly enough. The atmosphere is a little bit this and that sporadic in design and the music choice didn't really fit the feel but again, the food was delicious.

Greta sushi, even better drinks. I love the location and it’s decorated so nice! I would eat the karage chicken if you’re trying this place, it’s DELICIOUS. Definitely dine im at least once just because of how nice it is

We enjoyed our experience. It can be such a gamble to find a good place to eat anymore. We are happy we chose to eat here & will be back with family. Every customer was greeted kindly upon entering. Both employees on the floor checked on us in passing. Very kind. Not pushy or bothered in tone. Comfortable to talk to. Good prices. Nice portions. Nice cocktail! Not over poured but also not drowned down with juice. Potstickers cooked perfectly. Not burnt or soggy. Perfectly light & crunchy. Tasty filling. My fiance had the Ton Katsu ramen. I had the Ondeng Udon. Both fully layered with great flavor. We appreciate you being open. Thank you for a positive experience.

This was the worst sushi I have ever had. I spent 24$ on 3 rolls and the best part was the spicy mayo. Almost 0 fish in these rolls, all rice. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious food! Their teriyaki chicken salad was huge and filling! Their bento box options were cool and they treated us well even though we walked in close to closing time lol

Like many places these days, they seem to be struggling to have experienced wait staff. Table was a bit sticky, server didn't know how's to access wifi, and service was slow. Aside from the server, the staff was friendly. Prices are reasonable for dine in sushi. Fish treated good, but I would say the rice to fish ratio was a bit high. All in all, is give them another go, but with altered expectations.

Horrible service, the food wasn't as good as what people make it out to be. Will never go here again. It was dead and it took forever for two people to get our food. Cancelled our salads because it came out after our main dishes. Never again

Worst sushi place in Eugene. Terrible customer service. Lady up front said they did fine in them didn’t let us eat. We got there at 5:45 and called before hand to make sure they did dine in. They said yes and that they where open tell 11. When we got there 3 mins after calling they said they couldn’t serve us.

My favorite sushi in town. Very fresh, excellent rice, and a cool atmosphere. They have a couple of my favorite rolls of all time. I've never had a bad roll(bland at worst), and their sides are excellent as well.

Got the jampong and rappoki, both delicious! So happy to have found a place in downtown Eugene to get my Korean fix!

We came in for lunch right when they opened on Sunday. Had quick service, friendly staff, and AMAZING chicken katsu and yakisoba noodles. Oh my gosh. I can't recommend the chicken katsu entree more, it was tender and juicy and had just the right amount of sauce. I went with my boyfriend and he's a pretty picky eater, but he LOVED the chicken katsu.
