This joint was fantastic! Pancakes were delicious and the thick cut extra crispy bacon was amazing. Everything was well cooked and seasoned. Service was fast and friendly. The place was absolutely packed but they kept things moving very well. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a legit down home style breakfast!

Amazing! Great food, very friendly staff and super clean! This was a very pleasant surprise, a local referred us here while we were in town and looking for a great Easter breakfast. We were not disappointed, immediately upon entering we were greeted with a genuine smile and seated. Our server was just as nice and speedy, we maybe waited 20mins after ordering our food, if that and the food was to die for! The omelets are plate sized, thick and they do not skimp on the good stuff, bacon and cheese! Their pancakes have a hint of vanilla and are super fluffy/moist and their sourdough toast reminds me of mom's homemade bread. A must visit location!

Awesome service from Mary, as she was patiently explaining the menu. Outstanding! Nowadays, you don't get to see good services in the US. The food was really good, and the portion was perfect. Keep it up.

On a very busy morning, The Original Pancake House did not disappoint! The service was excellent, fast, friendly and attentive! The menu was expansive, with every type of pancake you can imagine - I had the delicious sourdough pancakes! I also had the eggs benedict which was simple but well prepared with real Canadian bacon. I should mention that some of my personal favorites were not on offer - no chicken fried steak or traditional hashbrowns but I was still delighted with my choice from the many options they do offer! If you're visiting Tracktown USA, or a long-standing local, your experience at The Original Pancake House is sure to please!

Always a great breakfast choice! A wonderful variety of pancakes of course. The specials were seasonally appropriate. The service was great and we didn’t wait terribly long for them having a full house. Endless things to try. The eggs were a bit over cooked, but still tasty. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and very good.

We love the decor of the restaurant, homey, cozy and warm welcoming atmosphere. Full of photos and posters of Oregon Duck’s sports teams. Always packed especially during weekend, be ready for some wait. We always order the original joe and classic eggs and Benedict. I like to substitute the side with the yum French toast. Options for everyone!

Went in for breakfast on a weekday around 11:00 am. Was seated quickly and the service was friendly. Food took a little bit longer to come out, but it was fantastic and worth the wait. The pancakes were incredible and the omelette, which is baked, was delicious as well. We ate our fill and still had plenty of leftovers from The generous portions. Will be back for breakfast next time in Eugene!

Food was good. Pancakes were great. My daughter found an eggshell in her eggs. That was unfortunate. Food was a bit pricey. And they charge .75 for a small thing of butter. That seemed a little extreme. The service was great. All the servers were really friendly & attentive. Atmosphere was what you'd expect from a pancake house. Lots of University of Oregon stuff, which made sense.

Best pancakes I've ever had. The service was excellent. It was a game day, so the wait was around 30 minutes for seating. To be expected. Parking is tight, so don't bring the monster truck.

Even though there was a crowd. Our wait was only 5 mins. In my opinion, the number of patrons speaks to how amazing the food is. The OJ is fresh squeezed and that’s hard to find where I’m from. It’s was great to see all the UH & Prefontaine memorabilia!

Great Atmosphere and Delicious Pancakes I recently visited the Original Pancake House again and decided to try something different from their menu. While I usually go for their incredible pancakes and Dutch babies, this time I opted for the avocado toast. The avocado toast was decent but quite simple, featuring just avocado spread on toast without any visible spices or toppings. Although it was okay, it didn't quite live up to the deliciousness of their other offerings. However, the overall experience at the Original Pancake House remains enjoyable. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff make every visit a pleasure. The restaurant's true stars are their amazing pancakes and Dutch babies, which I've had before and absolutely love. The fluffy pancakes are cooked to perfection, and the Dutch babies are a unique, delectable treat that you won't find at many other places. I would definitely recommend the Original Pancake House to anyone in search of a delightful breakfast spot. While the avocado toast might be a bit plain, don't let that deter you from trying their fantastic pancakes and Dutch babies. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Like most descent breakfast places, expect to wait 20+ minutes on weekends. However, overall nothing special. Oh and skip the sausage. It was the greasiest, fastest, saltiest that I've had ever. Opt for bacon instead. I hear it should be good.

My Wife and I love this place. We’ve been taking our kids here for a long time now and we all love keeping this a 2x a month thing. Feels traditional! The staff is awesome, the kitchen crew does a fantastic job, and we are never disappointed. Oh and they make the BEST bacon. I don’t love bacon but I’m hooked on there’s especially when it’s done “the normal” way. Thick pieces and so filling. Great spot in Eugene to go for breakfast!

This place is crazy busy...like insanely busy but their customer service skills were on point. The teamwork between staff members was amazing. We didn't have water on our table, because requested to not have the additional glasses, but when someone else saw that, they stopped by the table and asked if we needed water. It was cool to see servers step up and support one another. The food was amazing also. Cornbeef hash was delicious, the best I have had in a long time. I gave it 4 stars because the parking is almost non-existent, and complicated to navigate. They could use a bigger parking lot and building.

Fantastic service! My friends and I were quickly seated and served. Prices are a bit high but the quantity and quality is worth it! I tried the cottage cheese pancakes, they tasted great! I'll be sure to come back and try more off the menu :)

I didn't realize that the Origianal Pancake House has restaurants in other cities, other than that famous flagship restaurant on Barbour Boulevard. You can ask my family, but I have always said that the best breakfast in all the Portland is the Original Pancake House and now it's true of these other cities as well. Of course the Dutch Baby is the go to item on the menu, but the amazing truth is the quality of the other items on the menus along side. Their coffee is some of the most balanced coffee I've ever drank, and the quality of their bacon is the best bacon I've ever tasted with perfect text year EVERY TIME! If when you get there, there's a long line to be seated, do yourself a favor and just wait your turn. You won't regret it. When I was on deployment in the Middle East, I would fantasize about getting a Dutch baby when I got home.

A few sides/menu items are pretty steep for what you get (for standard diner fare, at least), but in terms of overall quality: no complaints! Don't be misled into getting one of the big special items-- they take longer to make, and they're only so-so are all the built up anticipation. Go for a regular offering! You won't regret it. Get yourself some bacon pancakes; you deserve it.

Large menu, attentive and kind staff, big portions! Overall very good mom and pop feeling place. Parking was a little tight due to construction next door but was worth it for the great meal!

We love this breakfast house. It's delicious. It can be very busy on the weekends and the parking can be kind of a hassle but it's so good. The atmosphere is fun and the place is spotless. The staff is super friendly and the food and coffee are delicious. It's our favorite place to go when we want to treat ourselves to breakfast.
