After reading a favorable review in the paper and being street taco fans we had to try the 2.00 dollar tacos. We had the beef, chicken and chorizo tacos. We enjoyed our delicious tacos, with a very nice portion of protein and a bit of fresh cilantro, cabbage and avocado based sauce on top. This food cart offers real food, covered seating and good eats.

I really appreciate that they have a separate list of vegetarian items. It makes it so much easier for me to navigate the menu and try new things. Everything was super fresh and delicious. We will be back.

El Buen Sabor in Eugene, OR is a hidden gem that is not to be missed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with beautiful Mexican art lining the walls. But let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely delicious! The menu had a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes but with a modern twist. The highlight for me was the Chicken Mole Enchiladas which was so flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. Every dish looked like a work of art on the plate, and it was evident that a lot of thought and care went into the preparation of each meal. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of food made it worth every penny. El Buen Sabor also had a great selection of drinks, including authentic margaritas that were the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at El Buen Sabor and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and I can't wait to return!

I am in Eugene every Friday for class and this is with in walking distance from school. I’m super happy they are because the wet burrito is amazing and always delicious. I haven’t been disappointed and feel those who enjoy a great wet burrito should stop by. They are not open on the weekends as I have gone over on a Saturday and the food court is closed.

This place at the beginning was really great. They would make really good food and it looked like they took their time to dish out yummy food. But recently their food has been bad. The burritos have changed. They don't add the same thing they use to and the meat comes in big chunks. Everything looks a mess as if they are always in a rush. They don't like giving out extra salsa of your choice. Pretty disappointed this was my favorite place at first.

HUGE menu, lots of options including vegetarian and vegan. We ordered to go and the food was not only on time but still hot and fresh. The Cilantro, perfectly cooked rice and the quality/variety of salsas alone will have us coming back!!! Best burritos in town!

The people are very friendly, and the food is good! I’ve enjoyed their standard burritos and tacos the most. Today I got a torta at their 8th Ave location. The meat was good, but the Bread was dry, and did nothing to enhance the dish. Also stringy cheese on the inside was a turn-off for me. Overall great food trucks! But stick to their popular items.

Loved this local casual Mexican restaurant. The burrito is a handful! I tried something new and had the Asada Blanda. Very tasty, loved the beef. You get the choice of red or green hot sauce on the side. There's outdoor seating (no indoor) but its covered, the service was super friendly! This place is definitely a local favorite! Cant wait to come back and try something new.

El Buen Sabor has never disappointed when I want quality, fresh, and quick Mexican food. The tacos are always delicious, with the fresh and flavorful tortilla and meat as the stars of the show. Try the horchata, tamarindo, or jamaica to complement whatever food you get. The people working there are always friendly and kind. Buen Sabor is a go-to for me and I'm grateful they're in our community!

We enjoyed the adobada tacos and burrito. They weren’t particularly exceptional but were still very good, especially the salsa that came with our food. Good amount of food for the price. If we were back in Eugene we’d visit again.

I love this place, I love their food, the employees are always kind to me. The thing that I appreciate the most is the food is always consistent. I really don't have bad things to say about them, I'd give them 5 stars, but my Spanish isn't good enough to get in a halfway decent conversation.

The small, curbside covered patio was busy on a Tuesday evening just before closing. Every customer smiled. It seems as though everyone already knows this place, but it was new to me as I happened by on my bike. So good. Short line, cranking it out. A solid vegan option for everything across the menu. Fresh, hot crispy gorditas with seasoned potatoes. Absolutely.

(I am Mexican) The absolute worst food iv ever had. Tried their food 10 years ago and is still as bad as I remember. Ordered: Huarache, Nachos, Horchata for myself and family. Food is insipid, cheaply thinned portions, you can tell they counted the amount of meat and ingredients on the huarache. Huaraches are more like soggy tacos with a thin tortilla. Huaraches are suppose to have big and thick tortilla. This is not authentic. Nachos also had very little ingredients, you can tell they dont know how to cut their ingredients because tomato cubes are way to big and nachos had a ton of chips that got soggy very fast. The Horchata tastes like water used to rinse rice, you can tell they don't know how to make it. Food couldn't even be rescued with their insipid salsa. Sorry this might sound cruel but how many years have you been in business and nothing has changed.

Im not one to complain but wow was My family disappointed. Everything was super dry and flavorless. I ordered tacos plate and lengua tacos. First, who puts raw cabbage on a street taco? Then they only use one corn tortilla per taco so it falls apart right in your lap. (Kid was very upset). The adabado had hardly any flavor and was desert dry. Lengua was the same way. At $4.00 a taco, you would hope they had flavor. As I am giving my food to my crying child, my other child said “this is gross dad!” Mind you they love mexican food. So we took what we had and threw it away and went to mcdonalds instead. Im out $50 plus McDonalds just because it was so horrible. Do not recommend and if they were good at one point, they are not anymore. Expensive, flavorless and dry food is what you can expect now. Highly do not recommend. BTW, our dog didn’t even eat what hit the ground and she is normally a vacuum 💯

Our first visit was 5 stars, we ordered there and took it home. It was so good! We had the vegan tortas that come with potatoes in it! Yum! We love that they have vegan options! 2nd visit we called in the order for pick up. Make sure to check your order before leaving. They forgot the potatoes on our tortas and it barely had tomatoes and chiles. It was all lettuce basically. Called them to tell them about it and the young teen girl just said sorry about it and that was it. I said what can we do about this. She said I’ll call you back and hung up. Of course I got no call back given that she didn’t take my number. So that was very disappointing. Next time I’ll just have to check our orders to make sure it’s correct and that it has more veggies.

Wow! This place is the best!! Great service and the food is really exceptional. The price is right there and if you want a really amazing experience, order the barbacoa tacos with sopa. Dip those tacos in the soup and all will be right in the universe. You're welcome.

I'm pretty harsh when it comes to good tacos these are super delicious! I was skeptical but they really exceeded my expectations the meat was well flavored:)

By far the best tostada I have ever had! I got chicken as the meat and it was extremely full of chicken flavor AND they did not scimp on it. As advertised, the corn shell IS large, very large AND crispy. The combination of vegetable, herbs and pickled jalapenos along with the lightly carmelized onions complemented the meat creating a very full and flavorful meal. This food truck is now my favorite.

Excellent prices and even better authentic Mexican eats. You can't go wrong throwing a dart at their menu. Everything here is delicious, well portioned and reasonably priced! ¡Viva Oaxaca!

Spot on the best Mexican food in town. Cheap delicious tacos with homemade tortillas. The tostada is huge, super crispy and non-greasy. The gorditas are great too, and the horchata is perfect. I come at least once a week. Highly recommend!

I went with friends today I wasn’t feeling like something heavy so i went with a cheese quesadilla can’t go wrong there I thought. Sadly the cheese was plentiful, but not fully melted that is my one pet peeve about a quesadilla if you are going to add jalapeños and (carrots -super weird and not my jam) you have to cook it longer to allow the cheese time to melt. Anyways would have been a better review if it didn’t have carrots and the cheese was fully melted. As for the environment it was cool they had a little patio, but it was very windy and a little rainy out would be nice if they had some sort of heaters to keep it a bit more comfortable on colder days to come. Side note they were not busy so there was no real reason to rush the food.

Good, legitimate Mexican place. Their prices are a little higher than I’d expect, but their the only place I’ve been in Eugene that actually flavors their food so far, so I can’t really complain too much.
