This was my second time attempting this Bistro and glad I did! The service was great and the atmosphere was nice because it wasn't very busy when I went around 2pm. I had the Fish flavored eggplant and Double cooked pork. Each with its unique taste, made my palate happy. Would recommend these two dishes if you enjoy eggplant and/or pork belly. The Double cooked pork has a slight spiciness but not eye watering. I had hoped the eggplant would remind me of a dish I had previously in China, however even though it was good, was not exactly the same (never is). It had a slight sweetness but almost umami in flavor.

Delicious authentic cuisine. It’s easy to see why this place is busy. The food has been consistently great and the staff is attentive and helpful. The black fungus salad is one of my favorites.

Restaurant came highly recommended so I was very excited to try it. Completely unenjoyable experience. Mediocre food. No flavor on the fried rice. Rice was mushy. Pork was over marinated, dry, could only taste the salt. Probably wasn't cooked the day before, used for today, or quickly refried for me. Definitely not worth $15. Waiter was extremely rude. Implied when I came in that if I didn't want to order several dishes and take them away, I shouldn't eat there. Should have walked away then. Rushed me out despite the restaurant being almost empty, brought the check and wanted to pack my food to go while I was still eating. Never refilled my water.

A friend said it's better than SF Sichuan food, even possibly the best Sichuan food in the US. It didn't disappoint. The most notable for me was water boiled fish and pork intestines (two items picked among things like beef and pork kidney). The signature Thai (bubble) tea was great too. Seaweed salad was carefully prepared, and mapo tofu was good too. Free rice refill. Took half home as leftover. Essentially $40 plus tips for two meals. 1 mile from u of o campus, about 25 mins walk.

Varied menu. Tasty dishes (We had eggplant with fish flavor, and kung pap shrimp). Good service.

Best Chinese food in Eugene hands down. Also best mapo tofu in town. I love this place and I'm so glad they survived all the pandemic closures.

Ordered for takeaway last week. Very easy to order over the phone and call when you’re there to pickup. Ordered the KungFu noodles, pig ear, cumin lamb, and the scallion pancake. Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth checking out.

Certainly not bad; we tried the fried noodles with pork, vegetable fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, seaweed egg drop soup and scallion pancake. It was all good but not mind blowing (except for the scallion pancake which was very yummy). Note: the fried noodles are not crunchy like you might expect, so if you're like me and love crunchy things you might be disappointed. The service was pretty good with our waiter being very friendly. It gets packed pretty quick and they have a somewhat small space; if you're not here right after they open you should expect to wait a bit for a table. A nice experience, but I think we prefer the taste of food elsewhere so I'm unsure if we'll return.

I LOVE this place. I live out of town, but whenever I pass through and they're open I stop by. The cumin fish is so good I get cravings for it. The garlic green beans are delightful. The kung-pao chicken is delicious.

Kung Fu Bistro literally changed my entire concept of Chinese food. My wife and I went here multiple times and while in grad school and loved every time. This place is amazing and everything we tried was fantastic.

We just had our first take out order. Very delicious. They can adjust the level of spices as you like.

As of 10/21 take out only and pay via phone. We picked up food today and noticed their sign wasn’t lit so it’s easy to miss.
